For my bus.    Depending on the sale, i would probably have to convert it out.

I do steel buildings all across the country, I would DEF have to convert it out, to pay for the building costs. (Maybe not a small carport, but def a garage size)

If it was a wood building(shed)  I have a chance to keep it in the coin. (depending on how big and when)  end of summer, I would be fine.  but right now
at the start of my season, i would have to convert it fast.

(Uhaul items? i could leave on the chain)

even the Uhaul rentals, up to a few Hundred bucks, i could leave on the chain.    (maybe not a trip to Cali/fl) lol

  Case by case.

but this is the big step for all coins.  Getting used.

im one of the very few businesses that would accept crypto.   but im also one of the few in my area that know what crypto is....

I have a miner sitting behind my desk running. out of all the visitors  3 knew what it was.   maybe not alot of total visitors, but still 200 so far this year.

(and 1 came back and yapped about it)

I have no idea about your first question. About the second question, i suppose it will be a Visa or Mastercard. So you will be able to pay everywhere, where they accept this card. The merchant you buy from will not even know, that you pay with your coins, as he get his payment in fiat.
And what's the point if the seller I'm buying from gets fiat? Convert it again fees, there is no benefit there.

The benefit is, that you can use your Verge in all day use cases. You can use it to pay anywhere and anything. This is one step for the so called mass adoption.

You could for example buy Verge coins, because you think they will rise and be worth more in future or just because you want to support the project. But anyway you have the possibility to use it (like fiat) when you need parts of the money invested.

I think this is much benefit. It will take some more years until you can pay with cryptos and the merchants will keep the cryptos. This will happen if we have the mass adoption and together with this we have more stable prices.

Nearly no merchant can take the risk, that he gets paid in crypto and one week later, the value has maybe halved. Of course, it may also be that the value has doubled, but businesses has to pay bills, loans and salaries. They cant take that risk right now.

The other thing is, businesses cant pay there bills, loans and salaries in crypto (right now), so they have to convert it to fiat. Again, it will take some more years until bills, loans and salaries can hopefully be paid with crypto too.

You guys need to recognize, that only about 3% of the mankind are using cryptos right now. Maybe we can talk about the above mentioned things if 15% uses cryptos...

The days will come, when you can pay with your cellphone wallet at any store, or maybe there will be some things like creditcards, that works directly with cryptos without exchange in the background. But it will take some more time until we get there. One day, if you go to a shop or shop online, the price tags will show information like:

9,99$, a,b Bitcoin, x,y Verge and so on

Somehow i have a feeling that soon Digibyte DGB will pass/overtake us without a mega deal of the year  Roll Eyes
(Just a bit of black humour, but the gap gets daily closer and closer)

Digibyte is a very good project too i think, but there are some different goals of the two coins. Verge is trying to get an widely accepted coin for payments. Digibyte is trying to offer a lot of options around the payment itself (see the new Digi-ID option for example). Anyway, i think both, Verge and Digibyte, are real good projects. I am invested in both coins.

The coming XVG debit card could be a game changer, but how does that affect TokenPay. This is an interesting partnership. I'd love to better understand what each side benefits.

That would definitely stir things up and make some people scratch their heads Cheesy Was there any official announcement issued by TokenPay or XVG marketing about it?Any updates about the deal with the German bank?

we partnered with tokenpay many months ago, and they will be creating a debit card that users can deposit verge onto.

Debit cards are cool for a certain target group of people. Although banks are already moving on to digital wallets, copying one of our market's breakthrough, and they are in a test and adaptation period right now. No one will really need to hold a bank debit/credit card on his wallet in a few years. What we need is to be constantly ahead of them and not rollback to their 1980 technology.
Token pay will expand Verge though and they aren't only interested in cards, so I think it is a good move.

yes, It's so hot if This news will be done in this year and Verge will go up to the sky .
I expect Verge will become a payment coin for online shopping in next year.

Could you help me explain details about the partnership of Verge & TokenPay? Does Debitcard of TokenPay has many coins and Verge is just one of them or this debitcard is just used with Verge? And after releasing debitcard, how about a chance to apply this debitcard for paying or shopping widely? I mean How to most shops agree to accpet debitcard of Verge?

Verge has proved itself to be a growing community. It is a reliable, safe, cheap and fast developing payment scheme. I believe such a project will not disappoint you.

That is exactly my point of view, that Verge is in a position to be the first coin with real adoption and become a coin that will be widely used for online payments and online shopping.Team is pushing hard and we can see progress after Pornhub.Porhub was like a catalyst fro the community to engage on all levels.

Verge has really come a long way now. Being the main focus of traders and investors. A lot of application are coming out for verge left and right. After pornhub. Now being tested for cards payment. Verge can really become next to btc in the future.

Market dump was needed look at all these shitcoins that were pumped during this and last month incredible dumb money, hopefully money will re-enter in real projects now.Still think this doesn’t make sense. There is so much going on with Verge. We should be going up.

Verge went up from 0.03 to 0.06 and this is doubled.
Now if you awaited more from this porn payment processing for initial subscriptions than maybe you have awaited too much. Same goes for the marketing campaign that was paid for. I think double isn't bad.
The problem is that people have unrealistic expectations that are not backed by any economical laws, logic common sense, you name it ....

You know most TA bots will be the ones that take their cash out of the market when they see high volume sell offs, it's a failsafe, it's not average investors taking their money out, we don't affect the exchanges enoughThis is me speculating.....but I think he’s doing this because the institutional investors at Consensus have nudged him saying they want to get in lower rather than higher. Thanks for responding , those are good news indeed. As soon as that happens it will radically change the perception of Verge and significantly increase adoption which is the most important factor.Market does and will do what market does, but adoption is the goal.
