Market dump was needed look at all these shitcoins that were pumped during this and last month incredible dumb money, hopefully money will re-enter in real projects now.Still think this doesn’t make sense. There is so much going on with Verge. We should be going up.

Diff doesn't seem to react at all to reward halving. 
I wonder who the hell did the calculations for the block halving.
Before: Block reward: 1560 Verge

is xvg coin good to keep in the long run, and is there any potential for high bounce rates? I see xvg is being talked about a lot?
Yes, xvg coin is one of the most advance coin on crypto world. Also backed by dedicated developers that is pursuing the alternative coin for bitcoin. Thus it is a great coin to invest too. Remember last year that verge was also voted as the most promising coin of 2018. By reading the above thread, verge infrastructure are still on a great speed of implementation.
Still I wouldn't put all my money I have into one coin. Always good to be sufficiently diversified. Let's you sleep better
Smart choice, do not put all your money into one place, get used to divide it into three or five different coins, so when the first coin goes down and your second coin goes up, you can still profit to cover the first coin loss, especially if all four coins you ride all, surely you profit doubled.
I do agree with your advises guys. Thanks. It's true, that it will give you peace of mind having investment on different coins. Remember to choose properly and learn when to sell or to hold. Although crypto is the future which is already here. So people on tech world right now are reaping the benefit of believing on the future.
oh and (i dont know all details of your situation) but did you try to install the latest version ontop of your current wallet?
Brief note: I'm scrapping the wallet on a laptop I tried to get to work to import a 'paper wallet' of some small amount of verge I have (2,555 Verge)
I will try on a different computer a fresh restart with the new version of wraith, hopefully, won't take a week to sync again, I will inform the thread
of if it works or not or any issues...just because, if I'm gonna waste 2 weeks of my life trying to import a paper wallet ..someone will have to read
one more post of my success (or failure) ...jeez, give me something!
if you already downloaded the block chain, dont delete it.

I think Verge and Komodo are two different fields in the crypto world so the combination is so hard and Each project has its own purpose.

Then they'll check the wallet and if it's good to go they'll integrate it in.
