Just noticed, that the Buy side on Bittrex almost doubled in the last week or so. Was at 20 BTC, now around 42 BTC. What to make of it?
this thing is sinking, went from 60 satoshi to 6, lol, i don't think any multi algo have a future out there, was the same for myriad right? all are dumped fast, not good for mining also
What isn't good for mining or blockchain health or long term aspirations of functionality is being tied to a single algorithm of which the hashpower is dominated by one or a handful of entities (think current banking system).
*see hashinator posts about the vulnerabilities single algo coins can experience.
IMHO Verge is the purest crypto in the world. Dev has stayed fully true to the ethics of decentralization, security, and anonymity set forth in the Satoshi Nakamoto white paper (https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf), more so than any other coin in existence, even btc itself; perhaps at a short term detriment to price, but i like Verge now more than ever, and much more than when we were doged.
Verge has been forged strong from adversity.
This is the only altcoin i hold or believe in. Most others are just hype money grabs. Dev has never been focused on price. The coin and the tech are his priority, and i appreciate that.
This is a second ICO reaching these prices again. A blessing and opportunity for real altcoin investors.

They'll add it but the problem is they are making so much money off ETH I'm not sure how worried they are about adding a lot more.
Now with LISK coming next week, they'll likely add that and it will probably generate a lot of volume as well.

agree with you polo just add new coin where he can take higher fee or where the developer must pay some bitcoin, not like they want innovation.
They don't take any money to list coins or want any other favor. What actually they keep looking is Good supporting Dev and High Volume trades.

I have buys in at 3 and 4 There will be more pumps dont worry its just when. Plus oneday may go mainstream you never know

With the last surge we probably picked up a lot of new comers who are now holding at a loss and it hurts. All I can tell you is I've seen what this coin will do. As long as dev is working on this coin, I'm buying again.

I'm not sure the sample size is large enough there to make any conclusive remarks for me. I'm buying while the prices are cheap because there are very large whales out there and sometimes this is what they do, lol.

Don't forget DAO after, lol. Yeah, so many coins coming out and BTC halvening coming up, but the volume is consistent and I'm actually starting to mine the coin again (haven't in a long long time).

Most of the people here were around when the price was 1 sat.

I mined the crap out of it and bought more when it was 1~2 sats........rode it up and didn't sell at the 11~12 where you must have.....kept riding all the way over 50 sats trading all the way. Buying more on the drops and sitting in a very good position. Thank goodness for spreadsheets to calculate all this out.
Let's just say....I'm good and fine with it going either way since I'm long term......you do know the coin started in Oct 2014 right?
And it has features other coin devs ( most of who don't code but farm it out) only wish they had.
It's not the coin of the day/weel/month....but a long term investment you need to follow and act accordingly when events happen as they do on most all coins.
So where do you see your opportunities these days?.... since you must have cashed all your verge out.
So many good points you bring up. I remember mining DogecoinDark before it was even on Trex. How much has changed and improved. To think that with all these improvements we are getting back to the original prices we were seeing very early in the game makes me think I should be buying so much more at this time. Its funny to see the newer accounts who think they know when whales operate, lol. I've seen 10 BTC just appear as a buy wall before with this coin. We used to have some weeks were we had very low volume. I haven't seen a day like this in a very long time now.

....Most selling right now are probably the new traders who probably expected to just hold a coin and get rich.@smartguy - where did you buy those you sold @ 12 sats? Or did you mine them?....either way, you're riding XVG the wrong way....and destined to lose.
@ ShadowBits - Yep you're so right....impatient traders getting tired of waiting for another 50 sat spike (or higher)...taking their losses and moving on to what they think is the next "big thing". That's a never ending chase.
