MEGArun #020 is half full. There are still 5 slots open, stake per slot is only 0.007 BTC. We will rent the gigantic hash power of 100 PH/s and send it to soloCK pool and hopefully crack one or more blocks in the running period of about 3h. More info on participation can be found HERE

does any body know the tx fees i will get for mining 24 hours using 1 EH/s on this pool if I hit a block how much am gonna get along with it in miner fees

What you can do is look at the last few blocks and see what the average fees are per block
won't give you exact number as it changes every block but will give you a rough view of fees in a block.

In the year 2022, transaction fees have made little difference in bitcoin mining profitability. According to our data on Braiins Insights as of November 21st, the average transaction fee amount per block over the past year is 0.095 BTC—a mere 1.5% of the total block reward

https://braiins.com/blog/transaction-fee-luck-for-bitcoin-miners#:~:text=In%20the%20year%202022%2C%20transaction,of%20the%20total%20block%20reward.

if we depend on that this means it averages BTC 13.68 per day so if I hit a block at the end of the 24 hours using 1 EH/s i roughly get 13.68/360=0.038 in miner fees?

That was 2022 fees were low.
In 2023 fees are a bit higher due to ordinals and nfts.

We are closer to 0.150 per block than 0.095 per block

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/blocks/btc?page=1

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/blocks/btc/785663     just put in any number 1- 785,663 and that block shows up

785,663       0.1527xxx
785,662       0.2281xxx
785,661       0.3494xxx
785,660       0.1664xxx
785,659       0.0724xxx
785,658       0.2208xxx
785,657       0.0613xxx
785,656       0.0523xxx
785,655       0.2567xxx
785,654       0.1067xxx

this sample of 10 is 1.6668 coins or

 0.16668 a block      about 5000 usd at 30 k a coin

much better than 0.095 about 1900 usd at 20k a coin the article you quote.

I do a math in my head. My gut feel is rewards are up to 0.15 per block for the last 2 months.

I am not going to do the math for 60 x 144 = 8640 blocks made last 2 months.

But I do look every day and feel safe with a 0.150 estimate vs last years 0.095

It varies block to block so it's impossible to predict.

There are more than 3,000 users, but more than 10,000 workers, and the basic computing power is more than 20P. What is the average per person?

will tack 9 hours on to 31 day rental.

Just in case this P2P hashrate renting becomes a thing in the future, I think there should be better ways to measure that to avoid any troubles between both parties, maybe something like the number of shares (assuming the pool's diff never changes), or maybe by looking at the 7-day average even for 1-month rental, the two parties can check the hashrate on 7 days intervals and if it's within +-2-3% then everything is good.

Some pools keep track of the average monthly hashrate, and some even provide between two dates hashrate, not sure if CK is willing to add something like that, so maybe we should figure something out, I just wouldn't want to see fellow miners starting new accusation topics claiming the other party didn't stick to the contract, I think many things can go wrong with the manual tracking like the one you did.

I can sponsor the P2P hash exchange creation

will start working on it next month if i success collecting the hashes i want to rent

philipma1957 its okay no need to cover the 9h

will organize it more in the future rentals

Okay we are trying to create a new model. So bugs will happen.

Shares may be best.

At ck is a chart makable for

24 hours

100th = x shares
200th = 2x shares
300th = 3x shares.
400th = 4x shares
500th = 5x shares

Seems to be best way.

https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qaswx0t6gps4xzr4neku8ygr6f7qwc65jt5y3c3

shows

27,039,014,918 shares

we are close to 48 hours if you count the missing 9 hours

so 48/39 x 27,039,014,918 = ballpark for 2 days.

33,200,000,000/2 = 16,600,000,000 shares a day for 510 th

514,600,000,000 for 31 days is close.

I will try to get a better number but that is close.

As I said earlier, the only logical way is to pay for total shares rather than a hashrate.

LTC Funded Blockhunt.

Going to run a small altcoin funded BTC hashrate solo run for those who might not have the larger 0.1 buy-in for the big groups.
Also I like to see altcoins being use for things and I think there is a fair amount of LTC floating about so it might open up to a wider audience while helping BTC along the way!

Well i'll leave this here as a warning to future dreamers (Renters) that's me now alot of $$ down the pan over the last 4 years renting hash to try for a block (would have been better buying the $$ of bitcoin in the dips) and I have also always kept S3's and v9's on chain too with no luck once this hash run's out this time I am out of the mining game.

Just threw my last 15 LTC at rentals no luck 6 hr's left then i'm sorry to say but I won't be returning to the mining space.

Would have still been a fair payday with bitcoin being at the +£7k range would have netted a profit of around 30k or so for 4 years work but the god's of the hash are just not with me.

Sad times...

Magic.

what changed to back again? am reading now every single page of this thread

Time away from doing something is always good.

Now back on the horse as they say!

LTC Funded Blockhunt.

NOFI but this a solo pool for btc not for altcoins. Please make your own thread in the appopriate sub forum. Damn, missed that it is a btc run but funded with altcoins.

Yep for BTC mining buddy just some don't want to spend there BTC on rentals and many mine altcoins so we can use them to do runs I think this opens up btc mining this way to more.

Cheap runs for the masses <3

Normal rules apply max 10 places.

Buy in 3 LTC (approx $300)

Renting will be conducted from https://www.miningrigrentals.com/ and mining will start once all places and deposits have been confirmed.

I have created a small Telegram group that people are welcome to join where we can talk about future rentals.

Okay, it was fun, but please don't turn this thread into your personal blog. Stick to discussion related to this solo pool.

+1 fully agree

these full-quotes and memes would certainly be more appropriate on Reddit.
