I have 10 BTG at YoBit for 2 years, their wallet was placed under "maintenance" and remained like that forever.
The only way to (try to) get it out is to change it to BTC (for 30% of real price).
That is pure scam.

THAT is not the scam part of Yobit, what you experiences is the result of this shitty exchange not being used by that many people. in order for their wallets to be able to let you withdraw they have to have a balance. and that balance will only come if someone deposits that coin to trade there. when nobody deposits anything (specially altcoins) they won't be able to let you withdraw. same with the 30% lower price. when nobody trades there, the spread becomes bigger.

Get used to it and you've been dealing with the shadiest exchange that had been known into this market which is Yobit. You can really expect that you would be ripped off by this
exchange thats why ive already turned my back into this place and never look once again.Better to move on buddy and there are lots of exchange which is way far more better than
this one. The post you had made on this thread is considered grave digging but the thing you said was actually relevant so it doesnt matter much.

Few links showing how shady this exchange is.

For those of you who know Russian, this is the news report of Pavel Krymov's arrest (on youtube):
Pavel is the alleged founder of yobit scam exchange

Do you know the identities of the other or current owners?   Or a physical address or where their servers are at all?

Why do people still use Yobit? Hard to understand for me as this exchange has been disregarding all requests from users and developers for years now. I am surprised to see they are even online now.

Im just gonna put it out there;  that even the things you think couldn't be effed;  truly are.

Look at the BTC total on the far left, then look at BTC in the center column on left;  the middle column; and the far right center column.

I only have one amount of BTC in my account;  and its close to 1mbtc... so i would believe the .8mbtc number from what I recall when I placed it into a purchase order.

Now;  This is my second gripe.

I did a withdraw;  pulled out exactly .04 (via their withdraw calculator on the w/d page).   Tx input to my wallet was .03999999...  so theres another gripe.

Also the Tx to me; had a fee substantially less than the withdraw fee.  I get it;  it's a fee.  But;  Everyone can see;  there's enough moving through the hot wallets that it adds up to a substantial sum.

It seems their fee habits keep changing.   I wish they were transparent with all of them and listed them somewhere as to be blatantly clear.   I've already called them out once on charging 1mbtc extra specifically for network tx speed, and they legit did not pay a tx even close to what my withdraw tx cost;  let along the ~50 other outputs to different people in the same tx.   Literally that massive tx, has a total "speed up fee" that was a fraction of my charged tx fees (when it was .0025 minimum tx fee from them).    They changed the fee the day after I sent a screenshot of their twitter post.

Anyways;  just another gripe;  to add to everyone else's.

Luckily;  I still have yet to not be paid;  if it does happen erratically (last time between payments was definitely over 8 months).

As of and up to today, All of my BTC/ETC/LTC withdraws have been relatively painless, as well as two other altcoins with online and block-height checked wallets.  Hopefully the future continues on the same.

If someone from yobit is watching here;  Consider integrating XMR.   Add another healthy staple to the ocean of trash.

NewYorkCoin (NYC) LOVES Yobit!

Please update NYC code asap!

https://github.com/NewYorkCoin-NYC/nycoin/releases/

login to yobit.

start a support ticket alerting them of the changes and necessity of updating the wallet.

Odds are they will read it and close the ticket letting you know they received it.

This is your best way of contacting them.

I personally have no way to contact them in regards to my sig campaign payments that are never are available;  so.... Its my best suggestion to you.

I've been trading with Yobit for more than a year, and everything is not a problem, indeed when withdrawing sometimes takes a long time but I think this is natural because Yobit users are very numerous and most importantly when I got into trouble then they solved quickly.

Getting the reviews quite mix about the exchanges as many people are facing trouble using the yobit and some users are finding it very smooth like usual other than as you mentioned some delay in the withdrawal. But I think due to this delay the other exchanges have grown very fast and keeping up the pace with yobit or ensuring the withdrawal is not delay.

Yobit has been involved in heavy pump & dump schemes during the hyped autumn of 2017, I remember them listing every s**tcoin and  pump it just because they paid for listing. There was so much people scammed with all those NEO gold, bitcoin Red, ethereum dark and other colorful ERC20 copies pump and dumps.

they still owe me 0.02332599 BTC in a shitcoin that I sent into their wallet. The coins never arrived in my wallet. Support ticket is not answered. Opened it 2018-05-28.

I would never ever send something really valuable to this exchange.

3 Yobit main problems: 1) her huge number of "dead" coins, 2)Constant crashes with purses. These wallets can work when you send the funds and after 5-10-15-30 minutes they can suddenly become non-working,that is,your funds get stuck, 3) Disgusting working support, you can wait for weeks and do not wait at all.
However,I would not argue that this exchange-Scam. It has a constant contingent of users and requires a little more care when working with it.

Yobit exchange is not a scam because if just not withdrawing your bitcoin for 6 hours. The problem might be the number of trading become overloaded so all of the transaction become delayed. I would suggest you to wait a little bit and have a patient because the only think you can do is to wait until it comes to your wallet. Always do your own research before doing some things.

Is 7 months enough patience?

Never used Yobit myself, reason is non working wallets.  no explanation why, its just ton of wallets doesn't work.  Sorry for what y'all had to go through and thank you for posting and warning people.  Also heard that some coins are "classic" and chains are out of date, maybe THAT is why some coins get stuck.

This seems to be the one that comes up the most...  people hoping to buy on one exchange and sell on another without doing diligent homework =/  Sucks that the pool doesn't recognize this;  but if they had to try and cover farse TX in the past or whatever else... meh.  They are either too lazy, don't know any better, don't care, or don't have the manpower to keep on top of it.....   The amount of coins listed is astronomical.

Caмaя oтвpaтитeльнaя пoддepжкa чтo я видeл.

I also have a situation now.
On August 2 I look at the GSR wallet, I send coins from another exchange and they hang. Day passes, two passes, no coins.

I start to understand, it turns out that the purse works on the Yobit, but there are not all the blocks. I pointed it out to them. But 3 weeks later the coins did not come, the synchronization of the wallet goes there in 1-2 kilograms.
But the price of the coins fell and now I'm in a minus. In a loss.
In support wrote, there is a function - compensation - but of course no one wants to pay it.
Wrote to the moderator, but silence.
No one answers, Support is also silent.
The most disgusting support that I've seen.
