It is depending on the strategy to be applied and also risk management, there are no best strategies but perhaps more suitable strategy with such condition and situation. If more time and can be focus, daily trading with at least 10% profit per day will be quickly more profit but the risk also higher. It should be considered, high profit high risk....
buy on sale when the red and green. It's basic strategy I learned if failed to green then wait just wait later than loss and not profit. most can't stand alone for one month is usually the price of the coins is recovered.
As you said is actual monitoring of the value, which is good but you need to get some info or new about that specific token. Specially if there's a problem or error or delay on that project. This is needed too, it's demand patience and extra effort on how you know every situation according the demand of the people. So time goes by, you will be more experienced person than before. Be ready to encounter some mistakes and be careful to trade (just saying, avoid panic trading).

You can add -by minning and -by joining in a signiture campaign. Because you could also earn money from it. Like in a signiture campaign, it easy to join there and reach your qouta. The only struggle with it is to produce quality post, that can really contribute in the improvement of this forum. I know that both in a trade and investment economy will increase our assets and not decrease, I know coins are very good for investment,
consumer goods will go down in value, examples of goods will add assets, coins, land, gold, home, this. strategies that increase assets.

I was holding my coins depending on their price if I see that there's a threat of declining of value I was withdraw it and buy again after reach the most low price value. Then I hold it again until it was raising up again, because if I sell it immediately with increasing happen I've got lost instead of income.
Find a solid coin to hold!

Can't guarantee this but there are coins that are being pumped so its also an effective one.- By buying and selling every other month
You need to sell when you have profit, you don't need a schedule when to sell every other month. Other choices are quite good but these are the most effective.
I usually keep a lot of bitcoin and then choose a low market time to buy good altcoin at a very cheap price. I would choose the altcoin that according to the price chart it is at the bottom, that the altcoin will recover very large after the market stabilizes again. My hold time is usually one month, which is the acceptable time in the cryptocurrency market.
i think all the strategies are good just different is of Short Term and Long Term, for example if you buy bitcoin now and wait for 2 years it will give you profit as the price will increase.

I am looking to buy promising crypto currency. As soon as it gives a plus of 100%, I sell half, and keep the other half for indefinite term.
How many cryptos out there give you a quick 100%? I agree that it may have worked in the past, but I don´t think is going to be a great idea for the future.
Look for good projects , Find it , wait for dump and buy cheaper.
Why exactly 2 years, you can't predict the market so far, it could crash any moment, or in 5 years. Better use a month trading for more stability and to secure your investment, or day trading. But depends on your expectations, knowledge and desire to deal with the Market every day, looking the statics 12 hours a day, and just buy/sell and repeat.
I learned on my "bitter experience", hodl and hodl.Me explain by example: in October, there were many airdrops, so for a penny I sold the HAT and SGR.I thought they are worth nothing(( Of good coins left EQL. I will wait and not sell him until the summer.

I lost a lot of money when I sold my crypto tokens cheaply on the crypto exchange etherdelta, now I prefer to keep all of them in my wallet.
is etherdelta trustworthy ? i mean was there any problem with the transactions ?
I sell only when I need an etherium for investment in other promising crypto projects.
