What problems do you mean? I haven't heard about any from the side of Facebook.
P.S. TON is great development of blockchain, I am interested in their project

GRAMs or GlobalCoin? What token is better? What token would you chose?
I would chose GRAM despite SEC regulations, obviously, no?
That's not so obvious, give some reasons!

Here is the BBC's report on Zukerberg's testimony before Congress:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-50152062

Quote
Maxine Waters, the Democratic chairwoman of the panel, pointed out that the social network was the subject of an antitrust investigation.

She said it would be "beneficial for all if Facebook concentrates on addressing its many existing deficiencies and failures before proceeding any further on the Libra project".

I don't think they're going to get the regulatory green light any time soon.

It will surely have good impact on crypto market in general but some are saying it will outrival bitcoin which is very hard to believe for me ,globalcoin will do fine no doubt but can't rival bitcoin

It cannot rival Bitcoin, I agree with that, I share the same perspective.

However, what makes you think that it will have a good impact on the crypto market in general? Because it inevitably raises awareness for cryptotechnology & DeFi?
I have heard Facebook coin called with Libra, so far they still wait for allowing from united state country how to build Libra coin and sell to public, just few step when Libra open to public waiting when government of unite state want to allow of using Libra as investing for public, Libra can't be rival for bitcoin because no investor want to buy if Libra coin sell to public with higher than bitcoin price.

Facebook's globalcoin helps with widespread and awareness among the common people who haven't known much about cryptocurrency. Almost each and everyone have a Facebook account, and when Facebook creates a globalcoin it easily reaches every single person. This means it serves as a way to promote bitcoin and won't disturb the market as Facebook's globalcoin is a Stablecoin.

I believe it's going to make a lot of sense, I mean the impact will be deeply felt, and it's also going to create massive blockchain adoption in a short period of time considering the number of Facebook users that I believe is beyond 2 billion, so Facebook Globalcoin is a welcome development.
As far as facebook is concerned, we all know it is one of the famous social apps all over the world and if any project from the world of crypto currencies joins hand with facebook, that coin is going to have enormous increase in number of investors and this will on the whole bring good effect on the world of crypto currencies.
few facebook Libra investor/Parter like Ebay, Mastercard, Visa and few other are leaving Libra Project and few issues are created about this project.
because the regulation goverment of libra

Facebook's partners yet to commit money to Libra
None of the 20 firms partnering with Facebook on its Libra cryptocurrency project have yet committed to financially backing the effort, the BBC understands.

Facebook’s Libra Just Got Its First Major Supporter in Congress
Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) wrote a letter to Libra Association member Anchorage, a South Dakota-based trust company, endorsing the Facebook-led project and citing it as an example of a technological advance he feels is needed to aid U.S. consumers.

I didn`t doubt they will buy some votes, one way or another. With money and power they have, they will buy one by one until they have enough supporters. How time is passing I dislike libra project more and more, looks like they are ready to do everything to start their own bank, with their own rules.
They are getting support from congress, but some of the partners are quitting. Facebook libra coin is drawing attention, but I think people will realize how shallow this project is, even people who plan to use it will be disappointed in some time and they will transfer to old  well established crypto currencies.

GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

Share your first impression!

Global coin now is called Libra, so far it was very noisy in the social medias and many scammers are using this name too to find a victim to scam others. But no definite date yet about their launch, only so far rumors which is 2020 is their day of launch. For sure many investors will attract to this coin and most of it for sure of course is the Facebook users.
The mass adoption will surely go up if Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg) can fight back towards the governments of the EEA countries. The troubles haven't started yet and the only some signs show on the cryptocoinmedia. The launch of the Libra has to be done with the regulation rules and breaking these rules will cost the team. Investors should be careful and the scammers use the fake ICO websites in order to attract the potential victims who want to take bonus coins as an early investor. It is shameful to see so many opportunist scammers around.

You need $10 million to run a masternode on the Facebook blockchain. Another greedy scam project from Zuck.

I think when such a big projects like Facebook or Telegram will manage to launch their coins and regulation will let it happen, the world will change completely. It's a very serious step.

The UNITED STATES Congress wants Facebook to add BITCOIN not its own CRYPTO

US Congressman: Facebook Should Add Bitcoin, Not Create Libra
https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-congressman-facebook-should-add-bitcoin-not-create-libra

This is much better than creating their own coin and if facebook decided to do it then it will bring a lot of positive views in crypto industry but it is unlikely to happen because this large companies are all about profits, that is why they want to have a full control on their own coin. they already discover the greatness of crypto using blockchain technology and they are using it as front for their own self-interests.

first time hearing facebook will make digital currency I feel happy. because by joining Facebook in cryptocurrency will make the crypto market bigger. Many large companies such as MasterCard, Visa and Paypal are included in Libra Associations. an institution that will control libra and support libra. but lately I heard the news that some of the big companies (mastercard and visa) decided not to support libra. I was surprised what really happened with Libra? will 2020 libra really be released? We will wait for futher news.

I see so many of you saying that facebook would not succeed with Libra, so here is what I was thinking in response.

Facebook has what the government does not have. People. From every country. From every corner of the world. All they need to do is urge its users to send a mass appeal to their local politicians and leaders to urge them to make pro libra policies. In return. Offer a lot of free money. This way, facebook can not only change any government's mind, but it can change any government it pleases to.

Most importantly, they don't even have to ask their userbase to do this directly. They can manipulate the feeds and subconsciously people would do facebook's bidding for them.
