It's easier to ignore what thy say once you know what they are up to. Their names are longandshort, coolstoryteller, 00smurf..meh can't be bothered with em. Just ignore 'em is my advice. Go Zerovert! When I do importprivkey xxx, I get this error: vector::_M_range_check (code -1)
Do you import successfully after the error ? or It shows error, and doesn't let you import ?
When I do importprivkey xxx again, the error is now: Error adding key to wallet (code -4)
I always add the private keys twice (use up arrow). When you get error -4 that's exactly when the address shows up on your list.
The addresses are displayed in the new wallet (not sure whether they were added after the first importprivkey or the second though). But balance is zero (no pun intended).
Intended or not, it was a good one, had a laugh.

Can you try to reindex ?
I just deleted the blockchain and started syncing from scratch, and that helped. Thanks!

FYI Zerocoin is using totally unvetted cryptography and is being funded (in part) by the US Government( "Acknowledgements ... Also, if their cryptography is ever broken, the entire blockchain history is made visible (not that the government would bother to tell anyone that they've broken it).

OK, the coin is causing p2pool to continuously send re-start requests to the miners resulting in a 25% drop in hash rate. This is unacceptable.
