Cloudbet cashouts have been very fast for me and it doesnt affect your active bonus. They also have very competitive lines, if they could just improve their utility and design...

Hi Bismarckbkk,

We've received a lot of feedback on the design and user experience of our sportsbook, and we are in the process of rebuilding it. If you had any specific requests - things you like, things you don't - please let us know and we will pass it on to our design team.

Any feedback is really helpful, folks, so please be a descriptive as you can!

I decided to try out AnoniBet due to the fact that they have live betting and a good rating here. I have placed several live bets over the last few days and have to say that they were graded quickly and accurately. Tonight I was live betting Tennis and was betting individual games in a set. If I bet winner of game 3 set 2 it was always graded by the start of game 5. The funds actually took a little longer to arrive due to I guess how they are processed but money was usually available by game 6. I just initiated a withdraw but since it is not within their hours of operation I have to wait at least 3 hours for it to be processed. I count this as a negative as most books have instant withdraws.
Their rakes on the sports book are higher than Nitrogen and Casinobitco.in, and the amount of sports they offer is limited so I won't play much here, except for live betting. The user interface could be a lot better and looking up graded/ungraded wagers is a pain.
My overall impression is that AnoniBet is a great book for live betting but not so much for any other wagering as their prices are too high.

painfully slow for me.  it has been 6+ hours.  although to be fair it saved me money because what i was going to bet on lost.

Cloudbet review, couple things:

1 -- i cant wager on any of my iphone browsers.  leandro said mobile is in the works, but you dont need a whole mobile platform, just decent enough coding that people can wager on your non-mobile website using mobile browsers.  its awful and because of that while i was AT a game i wasn't able to wager.  i mean honestly, in this day and age a huge percentage of betting has to be done on a phone or tablet (30%?)

2 -- figuring you could just email the wager, i sent leandro what i wanted (i mean you can call most books and tell them, why not email when there's absolute written proof), but he couldn't accept it.

3 -- so i went with option 3 which was to cashout and bet it elsewhere.  here we are 6 hours later and nothing.  now like i mentioned above it saved me 10 bitcoins because i wanted the nats over 7.5 which lost.

so here's my issue, if i'm not sitting in front of a PC, apparently i need like 5 redundancy plans to place a bet because option 1, 2, and 3 were complete fails.

****its good to see a book looking out for me though and not letting me place a wager.  saved me 10 BTC.  after the coinbet debacle only 690 BTC to go for break even.

I will say, so far, cloudbet has been the best of the 3 i've tried.  those include anonibet and nitrogen.  however cloudbet is only this high because they have the highest betting cap of the 3 sites i've used in the past couple days.

Hi BitcoinzRulez,

Thanks again for your feedback. I will address each point individually.

1. We have a mobile optimised sportsbook in the works and I am certain you will find it very impressive. It will be comfortably best in class. I'm sorry that you couldn't place the bet you wanted while at a game, and the mobile betting experience with our new mobile sportsbook will make getting your bets on an absolute breeze once it is available.

2. Unfortunately we can't accept bets via email as a) we need to quote and have accepted a price, b) the lag time in between emails means that prices are frequently outdated, and c) we need to keep an entirely auditable trail of communication. That said, we do have a VIP betting service coming available soon and will release more information on that nearer the launch.

3. I'm sorry you experienced a few hours of delay before receiving your cashout. At the time you requested it, our hot wallet had been depleted as we had a few large winners over the weekend, so it needed to be replenished. It has since been processed. In the future, small cashouts will be processed instantly, and larger cashouts will be processed within minutes during waking hours.

This feedback is very helpful for us so please do keep it coming, and please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can help with.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

I have to say as my first day trying out new books, cloudbet and anonibet are insanely slow to grade my wagers. It's been hours and both books have my bets pending. I checked the FAQ section and both state within minutes except on exotic crap.

If I ever bet early games and wanted to bet west coast stuff I'd be shit out of luck at this rate.

"How long does it take for the bets to be settled?
We settle all the bets and pay, as soon as we can confirm the outcomes of the events. This usually takes a few minutes for most events. But sometimes in exotic sports or leagues the time to confirm the results might take longer. Anonibet aims to settle all the bets as soon as possible."

Hi BitcoinzRulez,

Thanks for your feedback.

All of our bet grading is automated. That said, we can only settle bets once we receive reliable data from an official source (or syndicated from an official source) - we can't simply scrape data from a sports scores website or off ESPN.

Given this, some data is made available much sooner - NBA, for example, grades within minutes - whereas others are a little slower (eg MLB). Live bets also typically take longer to grade, for the same reason - we need to wait for reliable data from a third-party source.

We are always looking to increase the quality and speed of our data so in time grading speed will continue to increase.

Cheers,

I also think anonibet should honor the soccer wager that played on neutral ground.  Its fairly ridiculous they wouldn't.  also of the 3 books i've tried this week (anonibet, cloud, nitrogen), anonibet was BY FAR the worst.  they had the lowest caps, the most counter intuitive web setup, the fewest number of bettable selections, the worst odds, and a complete and utter system glitch which prevented me from betting anything at all.

1 -- lowest caps.  i think the max i could bet on any sport at any time was right around 4 BTC, and most were capped around 2 BTC.

2 -- their website is terrible.  its like something out of 2003.  you cant just click to see your wagers.  you have to click history, then open bets, then the type of bet.  3 clicks just to see what you've got bitcoins on?  if you want to see past wagers you have to add a click for your date range and its just as complicated to see your cashier history.

3 -- sports are limited and selections within those sports are also more limited than the other books.  i would say half the sports and then half the selections within those sports.

4 -- i mean their odds are obviously terrible on average, but the one that really stuck out for me was the NBA.  indy game prop was paul george o/u 22.5 on both sides was -118.  seems steep to take almost 20%.  a prop like that where both sides are even should probably be -110 at worst and maybe -107.  houston/portland game tonight you cant even bet with the spread.  you have to take the ML or nothing.  just weird.

5 -- yesterday i tried placing several bets and got a popup error for all of them saying max bet was 7.17 mbtc.  sure, $3, why not.  who would bother making a bet for $3?  i basically cant even bet there any more because of how awful it is.

if it were me, i would grade this book no higher than a D+ with a minor bump based on how long they've been in business plus a bump if they can prove liquidity (address of cold storage wallet with like 1000 BTC or something).  frankly, unless they rewrote their whole system or hired me as a consultant i would NEVER go back.  not sure why anonibet is so popular.

The line difference is so small that the bet should not have been nullified.

Even if the book is genuine they have to understand it looks fishy.

I respect a books right to cancel bets where obvious mistakes have been exploited but in this case i doubt anyone has exploited the bet and punters shouldnt be punished for a minor mistake that the book has made. I think in cases like this the best course of action would be for the book to take the loss.

Posters should go public with complaints. It would have saved a lot of us money with Coinbet. The posters in this thread have been very honest and credible. The posters here helped to get two players paid. The cash forums are different. Some dishonest posters run to the forums immediately trying to pressure books by creating a mob mentality. We should stay away from this by blindly finding a book guilty.

Peeps, I believe I've had a bet settled incorrectly. I went to the bookie, we had a conversation which contained 10-odd emails and lasted for a couple of days. We were unable to come to a satsifactory outcome. So I went to the community. Just as you would go to SBR if it were some other, cash based, old style book. And in doing so I understand that I'm a dishonest cunt who ran to the forums when a bookie did me wrong. A mobster and a blackmailer. But where in their terms does it say "If you're a flatulent git we'll void your bets at random"?

I've posted the bet details. I have no way of retrieving the odds from the other big books at the time I placed it. If someone does, please post here.
I'm able to get an archived history of lines from multiple books including PinnacleSports. If both parties agree why not post your first email? It's only fair to show some type of evidence before a book is downgraded.

I've been guilty of posting innuendos which I will cease. Throwing insults at each other serves no purpose. It would be best just to stick to the facts. If I am wrong in my assertions, I will definitely apologize and make appropriate grade changes.

I have to agree with that. Cloudbet is painfully slow on almost every major sports event I bet on ( mlb & nba ) . They should change whatever service they use.

Softwarewise cloudbet sucks too, I was getting logged out everytime in the betting menu. They suggested to use google chrome but it was the same.

Nitrogensports is miles ahead of cloudbet utilitywise. I think anoni is very similar to cloudbet. The main thing is that at cloudbet you have to open a page for every single wager to see all the bets for 1 game.

For example if you want to look at over/under or moneylines for mlb plays you have to select every single wager to see the odds, then navigate back to the main menu, and select the next game and most likely you have been logged out in the meantime.  Roll Eyes

Betcoin confiscated 7 BTC from KGambler for what they called bonus abuse. KGamber had civilized communications with Betcoin. When Betcoin didn't pay, KGambler took it to the forum. Both sides posted their story. The posters then stated their opinions and KGambler was paid. That's the way it should work.

bplayer threatened Anonibet with his first post
Quote
From the very start I wanted to be clear that I will make our dispute public unless I'm satisfied.
The purpose of this thread is not to threaten books. We are all here for the benefit of the players. We try to help them get paid and the ratings serve as a guide to help players determine where they will play. It's unfortunate that bplayer made a threat in post #1. Anonibet is in a situation now where they can't give in. I wish that this thread could work in a similar fashion as KGamler/Bercoin, but it's too late for that.

When gogo posted why Anonibet should change their 5% rule, Anonibet reconsidered and the rule was changed. When Anonibet overpaid Bitcoinzrulez 15 BTC, Bitcoinzrulez was the first to bring it to the forums. Prior to Bitcoinzrulez paying the 15 BTC back, Anonibet took full responsibility and stated that Bitcoinzrulez was not a scammer.

We don't even have all the facts of the bplayer/Anonibet case. Anonibet posted that bplayer is a long time player and this is his first problem. Due to the way bplayer handled this case, all the facts aren't going to come out. I can't see how a downgrade would be justified. In the future, I hope that players take the KGambler approach. This way the player, book and posters can all have input in one thread.

What facts are you missing?
From your post the line was off 4%. What was the line at Pinny at the time of your bet? What are the venue rules at Anonibet? According to the post on the board, you are a long time player at Anonibet. Why would you start off with a threat of forum extortion? Normally a person starts with this when his position is weak.

What is nice about the bitcoin community is that there haven't been any players trying to use the forums as an extortion method. You see this a lot at the cash forums. Cash books do not give in to these threats.  I don't understand your motivation in stating, "From the very start I wanted to be clear that I will make our dispute public unless I'm satisfied".

Even though we are all here for the players, this thread is not going to be used for extortion. This is what you have done.

Whether or not a player "threatens" to go public with a dispute should have ZERO impact on the judgment of whether what the book did was right or wrong.  We are not grading the players here; we are grading the books.  I couldn't care less about the individual dispute.  The principle (voiding a bet that was in no way an obvious bad line) is disturbing, however.
Agree that the threat has nothing to do with the book grade. Why do you say the line wasn't bad? What percentage is considered bad and what was the market price at the time of the bet? Does the venue have anything to do with a bet being voided. I understand American sports but I'm not familiar with soccer rules. Were all the bets canceled by Anonibet? We can't just change a rating based upon one unsubstantiated claim.
