I've stated previously during the hungerstyle incident that I don't believe Directbet's intent is to falsely claim doublespend/hacking in order to confiscate funds.
And as everyone's stated, they eventually went with the community opinion and were interested in preserving their good reputation (as opposed to a book such as BetcoinSports which clearly enjoys f*cking with people and has to pay people for positive posts).



I've never applied for the Jetwin bonus, so my account there has always been anonymous.
They're getting a lot of negative criticism over their handling and payout of the bonuses. I can't comment on that.

But it's a shame if they're losing customers and getting a bad reputation over their handling of a $35 bonus.

I've found many positives there:

1) Payouts have been instantaneous. It seems that as soon as I click on the final payout link, the funds are in my account.
Perhaps it actually takes a few seconds. Faster than any other book (other than Directbet of course which pays without a request being necessary).

2) I've contacted them re: limits/odds/adding sports or additional type of bets on sports, and found them to be wonderfully responsive in all of these areas.
YMMV on this, but my experience has been excellent as far as their being willing to make some improvements.

3) In areas other than those cited in #2, I've also found the cs to be very good to excellent.
[I wish they had 24/7 live chat, but unfortunately most books don't have this including some top fiat books.
I wish they had email support 24/7, but it feels as if there's no email support during certain hours (as is the case with many other books). There is always a response within 24 hours.]

The biggest advantage of Directbet imo, is the fact that it pays out for bets instantly. There is always a risk on other books, that they run away with funds deposited on user accounts, which at a given time can easily be over 100 BTC. The fact that Directbet doesn't require you to create account and deposit, plus the live betting feature which isn't available on every other sites definitely makes it better than a B.

This is a good idea. Books implementing arbitration should be rated higher.

You guys make some great points on Jetwin along with players being limited fast. What do you feel are the advantages of DirectBet over other books? My personal feeling is that there is little reason to play at DitectBet. The odds make it impossible to win long term with a fair amount of action.

Instant payouts is no longer an advantage now that other books are paying out so fast. More bets get rejected at DirectBet than other books because of the extra step required to place a bet.

Anyone else have opinions on Jetwin and DirectBet?

I know I said I wouldn't post in this thread anymore but I want to clarify the hungarstyles situation.


Directbet refunded the wager but did not payout the winnings from the BTC36 bet.  There was a smaller BTC2 wager that was paid, I'm not aware of the exact details behind that one though.

DirectBet requested KYC information, but I think it's fair to assume they ultimately paid Hungarstyle out of respect for the publics opinion without receiving any valid information.  ( DirectBet claimed the documents submitted were altered.  Also, I think it's safe to assume many users, including myself, would submit fraudulent personal information if they were in hungarstyles situation )

While many details of the situation make DirectBet worthy of serious criticism, they should be praised for ultimately conceding to the overall view of the general public encouraging other sites to do the same in the future.

I think ultimately the best way to avoid these situations in the future is to convince players and sites to come up with a dispute resolution policy that involves a unbiased third party.

i agree with the whole of your opinions above , directbet deserve more than just C+ rating.
if you check jetwin.ps thread you will see there many case of no deposit bonus can not withdrawn.
it looks the jetwin no deposit bonus are fake and i think it is need your attention to consider downgrading them.
vote directbet to receive B rating at least.

You ratings for directbet.eu is unfair. You have completely disregarded their positives and focused solely on a few negatives.They should be rated higher. @ least higher than the likes of Jetwin.

Jetwin is not based in the UK as claimed, their no deposit promo is sexist and fake. They do everything in their power to block payments, if and when you complete their high rollover requirements. They also demand personal information. But you rated them B+

directbet.eu made a mistake with hungerstyle which was resolved. And don't forget they had probable cause, but listened to the community. That should count for something.

Yes their lines could be better. I have long suspected they lay off their liabilies on an exchange, but doing so could be difficult, considering how unstable bitcoin price is. You don't want to be seen as favouring some books over others.

On Sportsbet.io, the payouts are really fast. I usually never have to wait more than a couple of minutes.

DirectBet upgraded from "D" to "C+"

DirectBet uses the "back" odds from Betfair adding more take out. There is a minimum amount needed at Betfair for DirectBet to put up a line. Many times there aren't lines up on one side or both since lines are dependent upon lines at an exchange. The lines at DirectBet aren't competitive in most markets.

DirectBet claimed that player hungerstyle maliciously attempted to double spend 36 BTC. DirectBet confiscated the 36 BTC plus the winnings from the wager. After requiring hungerstyle to present KYC information, DirectBet paid hungerstyle his deposit plus winnings.

One thing that is worrisome is that another player had his deposit and winnings confiscated. This player has not been paid. DirectBet contends that they still have the right to confiscate funds for attempted double spends. The attempted double spends are not always the fault of the player, it can be the wallet.

The rating will definitely increase if hungerstyle is paid in full. DirectBet demanding to see personal information when they claim to be anonymous does affect their grade.

As robinH pointed out, DirectBet's odds hurt their rating.

OneHash is starting to be known. The only downside for now is the delay of payment and the lack of games, but overall if they are going to accomplish that (they said it is coming soon) well I think they can be on B or C grade.

They are not stalling the case, hungerstyle just sent the documents to directbet.eu yesterday.
We can expect 2 or 3 days for verify the genuiness of the documents that hungerstyle provided.

This issue is yet to be resolved.  Directbet.eu is stalling.  And they deserve their D rating.  By the way? Their odds have to be one of the worst for bitcoin gambling websites.  Especially in play.

i don't think it is a good decision , they solve the problem = sure good reputation should be added.

The good thing with Nitrogensports.eu on why they are the top rated gambling sites is because of the simple UI  and the fast release of deposits and withdrawals, what add up on the features also even if they don't have a lot of games offered is the chat room where you can chat live with some sports bettors online.
