Anyone having issues with NiceHash Miner 2 ?

I have two rigs:

Rig 1: 1060 6GB running Win 10
Working without any problems with NiceHash Miner 2 after disabling the firewall during installation of the miner and adding exceptions for the whole folder in Roaming and Local.

Rig 2: 1080 Ti running Win 10
Identical hardware setup as the 1060 rig but impossible to get working with Nicehash Miner 2 doing exactly as above.

Actually finding the newest NiceHash miner to be the most stable so far on my 1080 TI rig.  Any antivirus software perhaps getting in the way of NiceHash miner?

on skein i can do 1GH with this beast but you need 90-100%tdp, this card i tried many algo and it work good for skein jha and other algo that share the same spec as these, heavy memory algo are bad for this gpu, it need to be optimized

I like to give it a try on Skein, can suggest the followings?

- which pool to use
- which miner software
- any other tuning needed?

Thanks

and you realy think, that everyone give you this info? just like this? no way ..... try by yourslef miners, pools, coins .... this is info, that no one gives to you...why? coz everyone tried on himself miners, pools, coins ........ its plenty of time spended on forums (counted on weeks not on hours)
Yes this is a great answer. You must think wisely for you to understand and for you a proof by your own.

Hello,
My 2x 1080ti Strix OC are unstable, especially GPU2 with Equihash Cry . I Tried with different OC settings, different versions- CUDA Zcash miner(0.3.3 /0.3.4b), different pools. Results are the same.. and have no idea why is that. If anyone has any suggestions i will be grateful.
   Thank you!

For XZC mining, any advantage of MPH vs Suprnova?

Also, slight side topic...

Anyone tried a regular 1080? Sure, they're not good for Eth, but XZC and regular skein etc should be fine, no?
As for me - MPH more honest and stable pool. Last months i am mining at suprnova only if i cann`t mine at another pool.

It does ~2400H/s, but it's a little less efficient with 24 H/W, the Ti gives 25 H/W.

I know all this and everything about luck factor, but I ran ccminer 2.2.2 cuda 9 for 2 days and never got to more than 12mhs on miningpoolhub chart and my rig was producing 18.6mhs all the time. Someone wrote that there is some problem with the miner and some custom miner fix this...
What are your clock settings for getting 3.3mhs mining XCZ with 1080ti?

So as you can see by screen, my settings are Pl 80%, core clock + 78, memory -502
and this is Zotac GTX 1080ti amp extreme pushes 3338 kh/s
which is rather nice I think

Hmmmm

Mine is the MSI Gaming X 11G and I'm at 80% TDP, +115 core, mem -502 and only getting about 3100 MH

Could someon please help me, I am mining XCZ with 6x1080ti ccmmier 2.2.2 cuda 9 and in miner it reports 18.6 mhs (3.100khs per card), but in miningpoolhub dashboard it reports 10-12mhs for the whole rig. What is the problem?

include --submit-stale if you use ccminer 2.2.2 for XZC then the problem will be fixed.

Your local hashrate is how many hashes your card is producing.  Not all hashes are accepted and not all hashes are given equal weight on the pool.  Of the accepted hashes the more difficult the hash the more it is worth so if you get lucky and find a number of difficult hashes that are accepted in short succession you can get higher than normal hashrate.  Equally if you get unlucky and only find low difficulty hashes your hashrate will show lower than your local rate.   On average though over time it should be close to what you have locally.

There is a large luck factor when it comes to mining that can significantly affect your reported hashrate at times both high and low.

You need to use the djm version of ccminer or you will not get accurate hashrate accepted by the pool when mining Zcoin.

+150 Core Stock Memory 80% tdp (doesn't matter much for this algo since it won't even use that much) and -I 22 should get around 3300 hashrate for a GTX 1080 Ti on Zcoin.

My efficiency is 93 %.
Is that ok ?

2 GTX 1080 ti with 3150 kh/s per card.
Intensity 20.
XZC
You should get atleast 3300 kH/s.
Core : +75
Mem : -400

and intensity 21

Which version of ccminer is best now for xzc?

djm34 version i think. someone posted download link few pages back.

Im getting 2920 kh/s max per card on all my cards.
that is using ccminer 2.2.2 tpruvot
Using SMOS ; fun thing i noticed in the miner it says 130watts; while i put m at 250
cuda 9 djm is the best now really. yet, if u like tpruvot miner - u ought to try version 2.2.1, it may be better.

Djm is pretty fast and stable

Guys

Sorry if it's not the right place to ask this... if not, please tell me where should I.

When you mine through Windows, does your anti virus detect the miner as a infectious file and kills it?
Should I turn off my anti virus and mining without it?

rather then turn off your AV, i would recommend just whitelisting the miner file
This is a well known issue with these miner files, as they were flagged back in the day when people maliciously packaged them Sad
One day, and some miners dont trigger it ;p

read the forums man, especially EVERYTHING relevant from this board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0  (current board)

We set up a folder called "Mining" on each rig that we have running and then have separate folders within that for ever single mining program etc... We then whitelist that entire "Mining" folder in the AV software and it's been fine ever since. Even with just Windows Defender you will have all sorts of issues if you don't exclude/whitelist a folder with everything else installed within that folder.
