Just wondering, dont know where the majority here is from, but I guess (i dont know) the same benefits applies to other countries. I have registered a company to get mining equipment cheaper, and I am wondering if you guys have done it as well? I have just done this, because in Norway you dont have to pay the 25% VAT on products when you buy a product, so for a 900$ 1080ti card which is the price here, you get it for 200$ less, so I pay 700$.

I have buildt two rigs, the first one with 6x1080ti, and the second with 8x 1080ti before I registered so I paied the VAT. I also bought 13 antminers with 25% VAT before registering. I would have saved so f. much money if I had done this before, but this is how you learn right  Roll Eyes Tongue

anyone tried mining smartcash with the 1080ti? whats your rate?
Yes i did but be careful with smartcash mining. Total network hashrate and the difficulty have several spikes per day that last for a few hours. Spikes like from 4Ths to 11Ths network and difficulty spikes from around 50000 to 450000. Profitability calculator is therefore very misleading with this shitcoin.
its because people are sending hash on it buy renting it on nicehash when diff goes down enough for them to earn $ that way

What is the max average power consumption for 1080ti beast?
depends on the algorithm and the settings .... from 100-250w

don't know what are you guys talking about, but I know, that zotac I have, has the best performance, rather palit superjetstreams I have earlier.
it has higher core frequency and memory frequency, and I don't know  what should a man do with a card, to brake PCB?! once installed I will never touch it again, it is working and working.
personally, I prefer to take ASUS STRIX, but by the time I have money for it, the price for Asus goes too high - more then $850. Zotac I took for $730 and Palits less then $700.. so the choice is obvious for me here

Could someone please write his clock and power settings for mining zcoin lyraz with ccminer 2.2.2. cuda 9
I get about 3.100 kh/s per one asus strix 1080ti with these settings:
power limit 50%
core +160
memory -400

my zotac Gtx 1080ti amp extreme is pushing 3338 mh/s
it is running @ PL 85 and + 70 core and - 500 memory, the core clock 2100 Mhz
so far I'm quite happy with that, if the diff was lower for zcoin I would even  more happier ))

any info how much watt that card comes?
recently i sell my amp extreme and change into aorus extreme

seems aorus extreme more efficient than amp extreme

Indeed the amp extreme is one of the worst 1080tis out there. Here's a pcb breakdown from bullzoid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z3H3cnrQOk

It has many vrm phases, but it's all marketing as the quality used inside is low, causing low efficiency and higher losses. Amp extreme is worse than reference pcb.

thanks man
it was right decision to sell amp extreme

the main reason because amp extreme consume more than aorus extreme
i ignore the temperature although amp extreme colder than aorus extreme (five degree gap)

here some example my benchmark,
- to get 20mhs x17 algo, aorus extreme only need 190-200watt
- to get 20mhs x17 algo, amp extreme need 210-220watt

I am also using djm34 version and it seems to give the best hash rate on the machine and using really less power
kinda regret selling zcoin at the 25$ mark but anyways who could have guessed it would reach 40+
the spmod and the price increase brought in a lot of miners and difficulty increased by a lot but still considering the power loss , xzc seems like the coin to mine for now Smiley

On MSI AB my power usage is not constant at all, it keeps changing from 30-55% and although it says whole rig is hashing 18.6mhs at miningpoolhub reports hashrate of 10mhs for hours now...
Any idea?

Is this XZC coin?
If yes, which miner do you use? If ccminer then try to put in your bat file --no stale  option
And it is common problem with ZXC pool, people say there is a private miner which can solve thism but it cost money

I wrote, yes it is XZC and Im using ccminer 2.2.2 cuda 9. Should I continue to use it or is it worthless?

the mjd34 version i think it's called is the best, gary linked it some pages back

anyone got spmod for keccak ?, please share

You should ask at SP-MOD thread about it.
Nobody is going to share it for free, I guess.

ZCOIN does not use full power. You can set your power limit at 100% and it won't use much more then ~60% or so.... it's quite nice on the electric bill if you're running a bunch of rigs pointed at it. Smiley

Even when I change those clocks, my power doesnt go over 50% and hashrate drops. Why is that, what is the problem whit my machine?
"Clocks" and "power" are different settings. What software do you use to control your cards? MSI AB?

Yes, I use MSI AB, and when I mine zcash with dtsm miner and set power limit to 105% MSI shows that cards use 105% power, but when I mine zcoin with ccminer 2.2.2 cuda 9 and set power limit to 70% it MSI shows cards use 50%. What am I doing wrong?
