Could someone please write his clock and power settings for mining zcoin lyraz with ccminer 2.2.2. cuda 9
I get about 3.100 kh/s per one asus strix 1080ti with these settings:
power limit 50%
core +160
memory -400
your power setting is way too low...
3200 - 3300 (various 1080ti models - evga black sc, zotac mini, palit gamerock premium...)
power 70%
core +100
memory 0

Even when I change those clocks, my power doesnt go over 50% and hashrate drops. Why is that, what is the problem whit my machine?

anyone tried mining smartcash with the 1080ti? whats your rate?
Yes i did but be careful with smartcash mining. Total network hashrate and the difficulty have several spikes per day that last for a few hours. Spikes like from 4Ths to 11Ths network and difficulty spikes from around 50000 to 450000. Profitability calculator is therefore very misleading with this shitcoin.

Hey guys (and girls).

I'm running Asus Strix 1080Ti with those clocks:
GPU 1800 (+117)
Memory 11560 (+550)
TDP 75%

I was mining ZEN and ZEC and now I'm experimenting with MONA.
Can you tell me what are the best (if not optimal) clocks for lyra2v2 ALGO? With the clocks above I get 126 MH/s.

Thank you
One card - one settings, another card - another. Even if u have same cards they work different. Just try to put up and down clocks and get your own.

Yes, I'm mining smartcash. Zotac gtx 1080ti emp exteme pushing about 1400 mh there
it is on PL85.
I heard some people squeeze up to 1500mhs, but that on pl100-110 - which kinda too much for me

Im sure they are still hashing to this day in some dark gpu mine somewhere
Damn that gave me goosebumps, I imagined that mine and it's scary down there. Cheesy Poor Tahities, they were meant to run Crysis on ultra but instead ended up in some forsaken dark mine and won't ever see the daylight again.

There were some reports about dead nitro rx 480 cards, supposedly that sticky oily thing attracts dust and if there's enough of it in the wrong place it can somehow kill the card. Not sure whether those were true (saw the dead cards with lots of that oil, but not 100% sure what exactly was the cause of death), and whether it's as bad with any of the 1080 Ti cards. My Aorus 1080 is one leaky card though and I had to clean it a couple times already.

Dont worry about the sweat on your GPU.  I had some 280x that looked wet all over and they were never a problem.  Im sure they are still hashing to this day in some dark gpu mine somewhere

~1300 MH/s with free miner, ~ 1450-1500 Mh/s with paid spmod (could get more of course, that's with cards @ 0.825V).

So I'm mining BTC with the NiceHash miner and I mine about 4.50$USD/day with an hashrate of 70MH/s. I heard zcoin is more profitable though. My card is a 1080 Ti Founder's Edition.
Nicehash does not mine BTC.
My mistake. The payout is in BTC but it amounts to 4.50/day or around that.

What Driver is everyone on?
I don't remember bad drivers from nvidia, so the latest is usually the best option (and sometimes also the fastest for some miners, sp-mods for example often work better with the latest drivers). I'm running 388.31 on a couple of rigs and don't have any problems with them.

Since 387 i got 15% lower hash on neoscrypt on 1070 but 1080/1080ti is not good on neoscrypt so probably the last one are fine. Dont know if any other algo is affected. 385.41 works fine on neo. Dont know when nvidia broke them.

Thanks for sharing, always good hearing back from the community, appreciate it.  I went ahead and downloaded 388.31, we'll see how it goes.  I'll be doing skein and equihash.

*UPDATE: I installed/upgraded to 388.31, I don't see any differences in hash rate, which isn't a bad thing either.

never had similar issue with nvidia , amd on the other hand start throwing out oil from the fans if they run at high temp ( rx480 nitro +)
It's not oil from the fans on rx 480 nitro cards, it's exactly the same as with other gpus — oily liquid comes from the thermal pads. Plenty of nvidia cards have this issue as well, although some nitros were notoriously bad with this.
i have the sc2 hybrid , mc 700, cc 125, tdp 90 -770sol/s
SC2 Hybrid runs a lot cooler than the regular SC2, so you're less likely to experience this kind of issue.
never reached temp above 45C and fan is always at 0 rpm Grin

1080ti's are quite different.

I have a bunch of EVGA-SC, MSI-Duke, that just love 72%TDP +50/+500 and will pull 680 sols.

But my ASUS STRIX will be low 600's at 72% TDP. They get a nice figure at 76% TDP.
It's not the cards that are different but simply the values in their BIOS. For one card the TDP = 250W. And for another card it's 280W or more. So when you do your overclocking in percentages instead of actual clocks/voltages, different cards might perform differently. But if you do it the "old-school" way by setting the clocks and voltages manually — all 1080 Tis perform ~ the same.

Anyone have a EVGA SC2? Its sweating something on its backplate. Daheck is this? lol
EVGA cards have lots of thermal pads between the baseplate/backplate and the pcb. They're leaking when heated.
