Guys, what are you mining right now?

Only Ella (Ellaism), even with my Nvidia cards
What is current profit per 1080ti card?

Raidmax is doing fine so far here. I have two 1200w rx1200aeb per 6 card rig.

1060 still is same, cpu load now when 1080 Ti is on stock, cpu load is: 14%. When i was OC 1080ti at +90 core clock and +300 mem clock i hear some cooler like when i is hitting cable but it is not. at start i hear that and then it stops, after that Power Consuption get down at 70-75% and i need to reset my PC so i can get back. it wont get back if i reset afterburner settings and reset miner.

i just set my core clock: +30 mem clock +200 and i got from 720-750 sol/s
The card shouldn't be making any weird noises when you start mining, there might be something physically wrong with it (although it could be just the fan(s) rattling at some particular rpm). Did you try uninstalling the graphics drivers with DDU and installing them again, or did you just install the card into the system and let the windows find the driver for it? And for the 3rd time, do you have enough power — what is your PSU?

i did not install and reinstall any drivers, i had my GTX 1060 in my case and just pluged 1080Ti with riser but my gtx 1060 is not pluged with riser, it is directly on mobo. I have PSU 1000W Raidmax Gold

Core clock now: +60, mem clock +200. I'm getting around 740-750 sol/s, running 10min.

edit: i got near 760 sol/s now... lol .

I don't want to rain on the parade, but typically Raidmax makes poor quality stuff. With a 1000 watt PSU you have quite a bit of leeway, so you should be fine, but I would be quite nervous about running anything close to the normal "safe wattage" of ~80% load on the PSU. Basically what I am saying is that if you continue to have issues, the PSU is the most likely culprit.

Well i dont think so that psu is a problem, i just got Raidmax RX-1000AE-B. I have only 2 GPU, 1060 and 1080ti.

i have pretty stable now at +60 +200 PL 104%
if i didnt increase PL to 104 it happens again. i read on Asus forum that Micron memory have poor OC ability that core clock is almost maxed out.

KFA2 (or Galax) Hall of Fame edition is the best mining card available 800+ sol/s on equihash
on what settings?i can push my zotacs to 800 sols but w/hash ratio goes off

What does such a special card edition cost anyway? I doubt that the few percent increase ( if at all) covers for the price increase. Sounds more like a collector card for some spoiled gamers Cheesy

So the question is - danger of max PL is in high temps only or that process himself (raising the PL) can somehow damage a card?
As far as I know computer parts get killed by both high temps and high voltages. Plenty of stories out there about damaged or degrading CPUs/GPUs that were overclocked with heavily increased voltage and were never overheated (so the damage was done by the high voltage and not the temps). That was actually one of the reasons nvidia implemented all that weird "boost" tech for "automatic OC" and placed hard limits on voltage: the previous-gen Maxwell/Kepler/Fermi cards could be overclocked a lot more than the current Pascal ones. So I suppose if you keep the temps under control it's not likely that you're gonna damage your Pascal cards, nvidia just won't let you. Smiley

Yea i rather have lower temps  but it is ok now, 67-70 temps are ok for me. When i was +90 +300 i got 780-790 sol/s and then that TDP was droping. I think if i put power limit at 120 and clock and mem like before i can get 780-790 sols withoud problems? i dont know how to lower the voltage and i dont want to fuckup my card...
It's a lot more likely that you'll destroy your card by mining @ PL 120 than by lowering the voltage. That's one of the main reasons people lower the voltage to begin with — to increase longevity. Lower voltage = cooler components = less work for fans etc.

how can i lower voltage, how much?

Wacko, you seem to be an experienced GPU miner so I want to ask you a question. You mentioned that it possible to destroy a card by running it with PL 120. I have free electricity so all my cards are cranked up to the maximum regarding the PL. they work at the cool environment, so the average temp is 65-70 with max overclocking.  Never exceed 80. They work for about half a year now without issues. So the question is - danger of max PL is in high temps only or that process himself (raising the PL) can somehow damage a card?

does sli make mining faster or no ?
No, it doesn't help with mining at all. At least it doesn't hurt though, it's worse on the AMD side where crossfire actually adds problems.

thank you sir

GPU0 has 204 accepted and and 1060 has 77, is that ok?
Sounds about right.

You could do a lot better in terms of Hash/Watt though if you wanted — by lowering the voltage. But that's obviously optional, some prefer lower consumption and temps while sacrificing a bit of hashrate, while others would rather push the card to the max at stock voltage or even above stock. A personal choice really.

Thats is a good temp for stable configuration. Once you pay it off, 1080ti will still have a good re-sell value if you decide to sell it and get something newer (which will be out by then).
