I will not hold, a bitcoin is a gift and you should use it reasonably, you are always in the safe zone and if you can not get out of it, you will never become rich with bitcoin. I will use that bitcoin to trade altcoin, and of course, if I earn a bitcoin, I'll return that bitcoin to the sender because life always revolves around a rule that you get something, you will have to return that or pay something for the equivalent price. If you keep it and do not pay it back, you will lose more than what you get

If i really need the money during that time bitcoin was given then well i will sell some of it and in cash it so that i will have money to spend for my emergency use then the remaining should be invested or to be hoard so that i could still benefit from the continues increasing value of the bitcoin. If i will get this thing then i will never sell my btc because i know very well that what is bitcoin in thr current time and what will be happen in the future , so instead to get into any bad decision you should save and invest both because both of these ways are better to increase the value and amount of thr gift that you got .
If you are in fear that may be its value can go down then in my suggestion sell about 30% of thr bitcoin that you got in gift and save rest of in Wallet for the future and also use a small part of the bitcoin in the better better 3-4 coins for long term .
In this way you will make profit as well as less risk free investment .
Beside this idea you can use this amount of bitcoin for bitcoin only trading purpose because bitcoin only trading is a better option to increase the amount of the bitcoin with 0% risk .

No need to ask question for this. Of course many will just hold it like all of us don't wanna miss the train.
I hold 70% of this for long term or even for short term as I know I still have profited to this. And the remaining will definitely buy some promising coins so my coins will circulate and multiply fast.

First of all i'd be one lucky guy to receive such a gift. Second, i obviously would decide to hold on to it as log as i can. I don't think it would be a good idea to sell it though the price today would already be a very good amount. I'm just looking at the bigger picture when btc would at least reach 10k

I will be on cloud nine if someone gifts me 1 bitcoin.I am not sure whether i will hold it or not.It will depend on the situation that is if i am in an urgent need of money then definitely i will use it up or otherwise i will wait for its value to increase more.

1 BTC is a good amount of money. If I were you, I would definitely hold it, because I believe that BTC has not reached it potential value. But if you need it to buy something or pay debts or bills, well then I would pay that and hold whatever left out, if any.

If the plot is I dont know anything about bitcoin yet then I will be excited to sell it and will rush to find anything on how to convert it to cash.
But if it is now, I might be keeping half of it and let it stay if ever the price will somehow rise.

it is such a big blessing to someone who will receive that gift of about 1 Bitcoin, either you hold it or cashing out there is nothing to lose. if it is used wisely like re-investment or capital for other business venture is the right thing to do as a sign of gratitude from the giver so he will not feel regret if it is used for other unreasonable purpose like lavish spending or put it into gambling.

The price of a whole bitcoin is no joke, and if somebody is generous enough to give me one for some reason, then I’d say god bless to whoever that person is. Same thing as I do with my earnings, I would simply hold it and act like I didn’t receive anything at all. Maybe, after holding it for five years and the price has multiplied, I would give back to the person the dollar value of what he gave me before.

Anyways for me i will make a decision that i will never repent after which is bad ways. I will not withdraw 1btc cause its a lot of money for me . Ithink 1/4 of 1btc .haha and i use it to make a small business so that i can earn also some money and i will use it for may daily needed. And the other i think i will invest it or trade or keep it in my local wallet and wait the chance that bitcoin rise again so that my 1 btc will become 2btc. Haha i think i am so rich if that time happened. .
