If ever someone will unexpectedly gift me 1 Bitcoin, yes i will withdraw it right away and convert it with cash because that would be enough for the operation the hernia of my son, after the operation that will be the time i will compose a thread here to look and say thank you to the person who sent the 1 Bitcoin.

If I were to receive 1 bitcoin right now I would remove maybe .2 bitcoin to fund a few trips etc and a bit of relaxation whilst investing the other .8btc, I would be looking to hold btc and also invest in projects such as neo and ark! If they do well in the first months I might even plan a few more trips. oh to dream  Grin

I'd cash out 0,05BTC just for giggles. Btw, 0,05 is enough these days to fund a small trip abroad!

Anyways, I'd put 0,5BTC in my personal wallet and keep it there for at least a couple of years. I would use the remaining 0,45BTC for trading activities and divert the funds over at least five different coins.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
for me 1 bitcoin is a very large amount and if I receive a one bitcoin gift from someone very unexpectedly, I will immediately sell half of it and half of it will I use for other purposes in crypto like investing and trading for example. but it would not be possible, seeing the very high bitcoin prices I think people not will give 1 bitcoin easily.

I would hold it. The way I see it is that regardless of how much bitcoin you have, you don't actually own money that you can use until:

1) you convert the bitcoin to USD or whatever usable currency there is in your country
or
2) Bitcoin becomes so widely accepted that it can be used anywhere.

So, when you're given a gift, you don't have anything to lose -- you're not in the negative by buying that bitcoin or by losing it. You're technically only in the positive. For that reason, and because I feel that bitcoin has time to blossom even more, I would hold. I would also make sure to be cautious about drops though.

If it is mine i will hold it till the price gets double or triple of its price now. Or just hold it as an asset.
