with declining bitcoin values earlier this year,
it is not possible for traders and investors to buy and hold alt coin.

In 2018 is a good year for all altcoin get better we already see some coin established coin bucking on the trend is so, good for all altcoin if bitcoin rise up again.
I really hope it will be a good year for altcoins. Because of the recent bad times we had , everyone needs a good run from alt coins. Many people lost so much lately so we are all hungry for some good news. I thing we still need to be careful and not get too hyped. Let's see when and how the market will settle , then we can talk about the future.
Yeah as others have said, right now 2018 haven't been that great for atlcoins but I'm confident that from here on we will see a big rise and eventually a new all high market with over a trillion marketcap.

We think 2018 will be a year full of opportunities. We must evaluate them well. After the middle of the year this year will be a year of crypto money. We will easily see that if we do not invest so much we will earn so much for it.
I partly agree with you. Last year, it was the year of the ICOs because they've raised billions of dollars combined. However, not all initial coin offerings are legitimate. Think about Benebit, they've used fake pictures stolen from a school website.
Then there's Bitconnect and Davorcoin (yes they are successful in ICO sales, but didn't last long due to Ponzi schemes in the form of lending programs). Not sure about Plexcoin though, but it seems they aren't giving up yet.
Overall, what matters is that we should do our homework first before joining and investing in an ICO.
I was also very upset by the news about ICO Benebit. This is a good example of fraud in this area. But in any case, in my opinion, ICO will attract a lot of additional money to altcoins in 2018, so this year will be successful. I dont think so coming days will show us 2018 is what but I dont expect raising altcoins. I think BTC will beat next three months.

We started on the right foot so yeah, Altcoins will do great this year, same goes for the ICO. The ones that will be successful will see a greatly price increase.
Hopefully that time will come so many of us will benifit of this, it is nice to make now an investment because i think this is time of altcoins this year. When i see the market cap all are green so i guess the value now are starting to increase.

2018 like everyones saying is the year of all altcoins , but this past month all altcoins are in dip because of the bitcoin going down. Some altcoins like etherium , ripple , litecoin rises in their value but they are going dip in a matter of month. When the king goes down , altcoins follow also to go down in their value. But this dip in altcoins will eventually be over once the bitcoin is back on its track.
for right now, i can't surely say that this year gonna be bountiful year. but, surely alternative coin could be good in this year. better re-stock your coin when the coin is in a deep dip state. then you start to reap what you sow
Well for me i would go for neo and etherium for my top solid coins but don't expect to have an exponential massive gains well i am not closing any doors into that discussion but if the total market capitalization of crypto world will have a massive growth even the top solid coins will still have that kind of gains. If you want to go for big time the one that can give you massive and exponential gains go for the Ico solid coins or the one's that is newly listed like thekey and bluzelle they are both performing good even with this kind of market.

It's definitely a good year, the prices were reset giving everyone a new chance to get into the game. If you didn't pick up some cheap coins then you only have yourself to blame, it won't be like this forever but you can guarantee that it will go back up! The market always returns bigger and stronger so buy now in this dip and then sit back and relax
Good year for alts and will only get better we are already seeing some well established coins bucking the trend when btc dips. Still clearly linked however in time confidence will keep neo and ETH moving in their own direction.
