Agreed. The Indian team players are experienced players who know how to play under different conditions and the point I mentioned about how they dominated Aus and NZ in their backyards clarifies that.

It all comes down to individual player performances at the end.
Excuse me but I thought they lost the home ODI series against Australia. The result was 2 - 3. They won the first two matches then they lost the rest of the three matches if I can recall it currently.

India used to play bad cricket in their abroad but from last few years they improved a lot. They in fact like the English wicket these days.

Teams such as West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be touring England this week and taking part in triangular ODI tournaments. So obviously they have the advantage when compared to the other teams. I guess two warm-up matches are scheduled for India, but it may not be enough. Playing the IPL in India (where the temperature can be up to 45 degrees) and then coming to England where the night temperature can fall to 10 degrees can be tough.
This will barely be a resistance toward the domination of team India in world cup. They almost all are qualified and experienced player, I don't think it will be an issue for them. They have performed better recently and I believe they will be able to continue this.

Yeah, I remember that....

But your luck managed to give you couple of Wins Yesterday in both matches. Eng won and in IPL KKR won as well.

Something to cheer about hehehe.
LOL it did not.
Over smartness lost me a lot yesterday.

In one stage it was obvious that England was going to lose. So I cashed out whatever left then put all of the money with some new deposit for Ireland and guess what game started to turn around for England LOL

I did not bet for KKR

So, eventually I lost a lot :-P

I am thinking to take a long break from gambling, making too many wrong decisions and it's costing me a lot.

You can add Pakistan as well in this list.

Teams such as India are going to struggle during the first 2-3 matches while adjusting with the conditions. I won't be very surprised if there are a few upsets during this phase.
Not expecting any upsets because what you said goes both ways. The current Indian squad are capable of adjusting to foreign conditions pretty quickly and their recent performances in Aus and NZ proves that.

Anyone watched yesterday's IRE vs ENG match? One thing is very clear. Unlike the sub-continental pitches, those in ENG/IRE offer a lot of support for the pace bowlers. Bowlers such as Josh Little and Tim Murtagh are not essentially international material. But they were able to trouble top English batsmen such as Eoin Morgan and Joe Root.

Let me tell you a truth. I placed a bet for England and the odd is 1.02 :-)
It's not a single bet but a 3 fold LOL
So the final odd is 2.91 :-D

Adding England has just increased the final odd from 2.86 (I guess) LOL

Check Scoreboard now.

I was looking for the odd between Ireland vs England, obviously for England and the odd it worse than s**t lol.

The highest for England was 1.16 when Ireland did not lose any wicket. Now it's 1.06 after Ireland losing their third wicket.

Ireland struggling right now. It would be surprise if they can even play their full quota of 45 overs.

Let's see if English bowlers can wrap them out under 150 runs. after that England can play their inning in 20-20 mode.

Win-lose betting is not profitable in this match

Edit 1

Jofra Archer looking rusty so far.

Edit 2

Lower batting order showing lot of character. they are doing good job for Irish team.

Why would anyone bet on Ireland over England? As expected, they are performing badly after a good opening stand. Tom Curran is bowling brilliantly currently and I am expecting them to win this match by 7 or 8 wickets easily.

Bro, its very old news . i posted this news during Jan but shared again here for Royse. he was not aware of this " Coffee with karan" saga.
Lol, I didn't notice the date, neither I did any further query, my bad.

Not only English players, but even an Australian player also don't have much respect for cricket because they will do mischievous activities which makes them for sledging and ball tampering. These people should learn many things from their seniors because Cricket is always named as Gentle Man cricket.
Ball tampering is a single issue. Other than this, sledging is a part of cricket in my opinion too, same thought as Ponting.

Miningguru, We were basically talking about off field discipline, on field behaviour was not in question here. some players acts like a jerk in On field but are very discipline and super nice when goes at public. biggest example is Indian Captain Virat Kohli.

He sometimes acts rude in cricketing field with his trademark cursing words and aggressive body language but when not in the field he's one of the nicest guy to talk with.

We have many examples...

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya facing 2 match bans due to their comments on a show ‘Koffee with Karan’

Will they miss world cup matches? I guess India will be in little trouble without Hardik Pandya. He is a great asset for the team.

The impression that you have of these cricketers is wrong, just because one or two indulged in shameful activities you cannot blame the entire team for that. I agree with you that cricket is a gentleman’s game but, harmless sledging these days is what makes the game more interesting.

I think officially England is going to have a practice match with Ireland. There are still over 25 days left but I started to feel the real cricket feeling. How about you all?

I may not watch the match but I will follow the score today.

While I too won’t watch this match but I’ll agree I’m very excited for the World Cup to begin, and more excited to find out who’ll win it this year.

Why in the world are you guys undermining different countries because of the actions of a couple of individuals? Not cool at all. There will always be players from all nations who engage in bad stuff, but you cannot judge an entire nation based on their dumb actions.

Indeed they have solid lineup of batsmen. If somehow England reach the World Cup Final and manage to lose then I would like to see Michael Vaughan, Nasser Hussain and Micheal Holding reaction Cheesy
If England manages to reach final, I doubt they will lose if the opponent is not Australia. Australia is likely to be the champion this time.
Alex Hales will miss the world cup due to taking drug. It's sad for him and team England as well.

English players do have a problem with discipline. Ben Stokes was involved in a brutal fist-fight in the city of Bristol, which left at least one individual severely injured. And yesterday, county cricketer Alex Hepburn was jailed for 5 years for sexual assault. These guys need to learn a few lessons from the old generation players, who were known for their gentlemanly behavior.
