Bro, its very old news . i posted this news during Jan but shared again here for Royse. he was not aware of this " Coffee with karan" saga.
Lol, I didn't notice the date, neither I did any further query, my bad.

Not only English players, but even an Australian player also don't have much respect for cricket because they will do mischievous activities which makes them for sledging and ball tampering. These people should learn many things from their seniors because Cricket is always named as Gentle Man cricket.
Ball tampering is a single issue. Other than this, sledging is a part of cricket in my opinion too, same thought as Ponting.

Miningguru, We were basically talking about off field discipline, on field behaviour was not in question here. some players acts like a jerk in On field but are very discipline and super nice when goes at public. biggest example is Indian Captain Virat Kohli.

He sometimes acts rude in cricketing field with his trademark cursing words and aggressive body language but when not in the field he's one of the nicest guy to talk with.

We have many examples...

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya facing 2 match bans due to their comments on a show ‘Koffee with Karan’

Will they miss world cup matches? I guess India will be in little trouble without Hardik Pandya. He is a great asset for the team.

The impression that you have of these cricketers is wrong, just because one or two indulged in shameful activities you cannot blame the entire team for that. I agree with you that cricket is a gentleman’s game but, harmless sledging these days is what makes the game more interesting.

I think officially England is going to have a practice match with Ireland. There are still over 25 days left but I started to feel the real cricket feeling. How about you all?

I may not watch the match but I will follow the score today.

While I too won’t watch this match but I’ll agree I’m very excited for the World Cup to begin, and more excited to find out who’ll win it this year.

Why in the world are you guys undermining different countries because of the actions of a couple of individuals? Not cool at all. There will always be players from all nations who engage in bad stuff, but you cannot judge an entire nation based on their dumb actions.

Indeed they have solid lineup of batsmen. If somehow England reach the World Cup Final and manage to lose then I would like to see Michael Vaughan, Nasser Hussain and Micheal Holding reaction Cheesy
If England manages to reach final, I doubt they will lose if the opponent is not Australia. Australia is likely to be the champion this time.
Alex Hales will miss the world cup due to taking drug. It's sad for him and team England as well.

English players do have a problem with discipline. Ben Stokes was involved in a brutal fist-fight in the city of Bristol, which left at least one individual severely injured. And yesterday, county cricketer Alex Hepburn was jailed for 5 years for sexual assault. These guys need to learn a few lessons from the old generation players, who were known for their gentlemanly behavior.

Ben Stokes once said that was the best lesson he ever had and he regretted for it. People go through times and events. You can not just blame the entire nation for one or two individuals action.

I don't know about Alex Hepburn but if that is true case then he has been treated the same way a normal English would have been treated.

I didn't meant to generalize the English players. And indiscipline is an issue not just with the English team, but with the other teams as well. As JSRAW pointed out, a few months ago Hardik and Rahul got two match suspensions for their motormouths. I have a feeling that at least some of the players are getting arrogant as a result of receiving too much wealth.
There are arrogant players in every team due to various reasons in any period of time since all players are basically human beings at the end of the day.

Based on what I have observed, majority of the players are disciplined while a few are indisciplined compared to a sport like Soccer where its usually the reverse.

I've updated the OP with the players' list of each team.
Someone please give 1 or 2 merit to OP. I don't have available now.

Heh, literally the best thing about writing Hindi/Urdu "in" English alphabets is that you cannot translate it using any translator! Grin

Anyways, translating it for you:

"Kya Raja bhai. subah subah" = Why [this awful news] Raja brother, so early in the morning?

"Bhai itni jaldi kyun uth jaate ho aap?" = Brother, why do you wake up [and open bitcointalk] so early?

Let's stick to English from now on, @JSRAW!
LOL
So google is a joke!

"Thank you for your help"
and
"Brother, why do you wake up [and open bitcointalk] so early?"
Is not even close.

I wonder how this translation bounty abusers do their job using google translator :-D

By the way guys, I don't mind you both use your local language. I was just kidding :-)

Pandya’s comments have been slammed as misogynistic and sexist, drew a lot of flak from all corners especially on social media, prompting CoA to take serious look at the matter. The all-rounder, in response, said he was sincerely regretful and would not repeat the behaviour.

These days social media plays major role in our private and professional life.
This is old news. Was not surprised honestly since Pandya has attitude issues even though he is a brilliant cricketer. He seems to have learnt from his mistake though along with Rahul and they still have a bright future ahead of them in the Indian team going forward.

What is it with Hardik and Rahul? Sorry I did not follow Indian team much in previous days. By the way, I think Stoke was honest about his statement, rest is up to him of-course.

This was the case, I was being lazy to type, so end up wasting 15mins only to find that post. dumb choice!!

Royse bhai, everyone says the same after being punished or getting caught. Hardik and Rahul saying the same thing.

Vishnu is right when he's talking about discipline, Some English players do have this problem but on individual level not as a country or team.

And yes, no one should blame or judge the entire team or country for that.

He wasn't in a very good form too actually , I am more impressed and keen to see Warner in world cup than Steve.

Guess, He did okay in the end, right? I am excited for both of them but yes Warner for more because of my biased opinion.

I will be disappoint if this happens but not going to hold my breathe or finger crossed for them despite they are my fav for this World cup. let the best team win the World cup. which is India ofcourse lol Grin
