Yeah they developed the bond outside the court, they are still human right? The kind of friendship that will continue as brotherhood.

It's really a good sign for a much stronger unity inside the league, they are hard inside the court but they have that connection outside

that will be treasured. A cool example that sports competition is just inside the court but they are good friends outside.
Yes, they are still human but as a fan of just one team on that celebration, you would not expect a lot of NBA players to be invited. Lebron and Tatum especially. One who was super competitive and physical with Draymond below the rim and another who just lost from them in their Finals run.
I am amazed at how Tatum took it and even put an effort to appear at the wedding. Sportsmanship at the highest level.

Congratulations to Dray, how old he is again before he marries, 32? and is this the first time for him to get into marriage?

Anyway, this is just pure fun to see all of them in one frame.
Yes and yes but he had a 10-year relationship with ex-girlfriend Jelissa Hardy, they have 2 kids.
This will be a memory that will keep them close to each other. Soon, they will all retire and reminisce while looking at these photos.

Breaking away with the Kyrie and KD news again here's something new and positive.
Golden State Warriors vet Draymond Green marries actress Hazel Renee in star-studded wedding

In attendance were star-studded names like the Curry's, Lebron James, and Jayson Tatum. Retired dub players were also present.
Some brotherhood that we don't know. Somehow they are on good terms even outside the basketball floor and it's giving away good vibes to promote sportsmanship.
Competitive inside, but friendship is intact on the outside. Cool.
Draymond now has 5 rings.  Cheesy
I saw this picture a while ago and made me think that it's just the fans that are making rivals for their idols and no matter how tough every competition that they're in, they all remain to be friends in real life.

Congratulations to Dray, how old he is again before he marries, 32? and is this the first time for him to get into marriage?

I agree, Kyrie and KD could be gone tomorrow, or they will not be gone at all, and we do not have any idea until it happens. I still think that fully healthy Nets for a whole year could end up being great. Last year, at the start of the season the talks were about Lakers vs Nets finals, with harden instead of Simmons obviously, we all saw the result of that.

Harden has left, Simmons is injured, Kyrie and vaccination etc etc all destroyed Nets, and Lakers having one of the worst years of both AD and Westbrook together caused them to be terrible too. So I am not expecting the thing this year, it is going to be a revenge year for Lakers, and Nets could stay healthy and be a lot better if they stay together.
Well... reading this post came to my mind... could the Nets be different this season and could they become a strong and competitive team to beat the Warriors!!? (or another team???).

I mean if both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant reverse their requests to be traded away from Brooklyn, I could see this team being very good with another year under their belts as well as having time to gel with Ben Simmons. But whether they can beat the Warriors or not I’m not too sure. I think if they all play to their fullest abilities and stay healthy, they could..Durant is a top 3 player on the planet and Kyrie is top 10..so that should be enough for them to compete with anyone.

I don’t know if that’s going to happen. I suspected they would return and the Nets would go on like the trade requests never happened. However, I just read an article that claimed Durant said that he would rather retire then play another game for the Nets. I guess we’ll see soon enough. With only a couple months left until Durant is expected to suit up, we could have another Ben Simmons situation on our hands.
If the is the case, then it might ruin Durant for good, he can still ball no doubt, but if he has that kind of attitude now, I don't know if teams are willing to take a gamble.

Just play if they are really professional, that's what the NBA and the fans are expecting them to be. Not just diva, so he should expect more former players to criticized him in public and maybe some of his defenders can't shield him anymore from detractors.

Nets are now rank number 8 with +1600 odds, honestly, I like it as it's very attractive.
Do you think it's worth a shot?

Worth a shot for a hardcore Brooklyn Nets fan.

But for being just a gambler, I won't take that for the simple reason that I don't prefer that team even though Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will stay.

The odds will also change while the season is approaching depending on what will happen on their roster.

Yes, we will have to see the chemistry first, but most of us here speculate that it won't be healthy seeing Durant has issues with Simmons and then Kyrie with his imposing his well atittude.

I think the odds are just about right, so there is no value in betting to them as early as this without seeing them play. When Durant goes to the Nets, all of their fans are very excited, and I don't think they will have the same enthusiasm because of the whole saga on their star players.

Yes, maybe if Nets will convince them to stay and play at their best this coming season, maybe takers will be lucky,

though doubts are circling around with these two stars, they are very vocal with regard to their request being transferred to other
teams who can give Nets demands.

But let see if what will happen in the future, a big gamble to anyone who will take this but very rewarding in case that Nets
will play well.

You can try. Many are already predicting that KD and Kyrie will not be going to another team because of what is happening right now that no team can give what the Nets management wanted to. Many are thinking that they will stay in the Nets alongside Simmons and I think they will play well if they will be together.

It's too early to judge, Simmons will be playing next season, so most likely the Nets roster will improve having a healthy Durant and Irving. Maybe thats the time the Nets will be able to successfully trade Durant and Irving especially if the Nets will become the number 1 team overall.

Ben Simmons has not played since June 2021, and I have some doubts he will perform as before as he still has mental problems. So even if Simmons plays next season, it's unlikely that his presence on the court will improve the Nets' results in any way. In addition, there is still uncertainty about whether Irving and Durant will stay on the team or not.
I will just say that Simmons will not be the same Simmons as he is before what happened to him. Well he might be a better one when he comes back or he might be worse than the old Ben Simmons. We don't know and I don't also know if he really overcame the drama that has happened to him. I still think that the 3 of them with Kyrie and Durant be a good combination but there is still doubt in my mind and we still don't know if the 3 of them will play in the Nets because there is still a chance that any one of them might get traded anytime.

Speaking of Ben Simmons, as per @wojespn,

Quote
Adrian Wojnarowski
ESPN Sources: Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have reached a settlement agreement on the grievance the All-Star guard filed to recoup a portion of the nearly $20 million withheld him as a result of his failure to play games in the 2021-2022 season.

https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1559299506859954176

Both side have agreed to settle, but it was confidential. Ben cited mental issues for the way he acted on training camp. We've seen videos of him just going through the motions.

I will speculate that maybe Ben still get some money out of the $20 million, whether half of it, still a win situation for this drama queen, hehehehe.

Seems like everything has been a bit calm later on the trading front. I think teams may be settling in with what they plan to enter training camp with. The season is just right around the corner so it seems like the Nets aren’t going to be making any deals that don’t interest them. We may see a KD and Kyrie team with Ben Simmons to start the year. Talk about awkward…

They ain't have much choice but to play in the upcoming season together as a team because there are no other teams in the NBA now who could afford to meet what the Nets wanted in exchange for Durant even if they will include Simmons as a bonus. They just have to swallow their ego and pride to develop the right chemistry but that is if they are really willing to do that because Durant might sit many games this coming 22-23 season.

With all the drama that happened? I think Nets would be best if they try to give way of those who wanted to leave instead of keeping them, that will surely hurt the team. They are fine as a team but to deal with behaviors over something is far more great if it will escalated, mind me that will just keep growing. For Lakers, I think they're wrong when they fired their head coach, it should have been within the players that doesn't get along.

Something has to be done, players can request for a trade if he does not want to play? That's really something. Simmons started it first then we now have Durant and Irving, so now the management are seeing that the players (superstars) are already abusing their right, it's not anymore favorable to the owners who invested a lot of money.

It has not been like this before, but today the players are like the owners of the teams. They are the one who calls who to trade and who to acquire because they have this high authority in the team. But thankfully this is only possible in the team who got superstar players like LBJ and the other teams are fine, they don't have this drama. The disadvantage of this is when the player they acquired is not as they expected, the fans will not leave them alone and will surely tease them with that.

True, their ego is growing bad because these superstars are getting entitled for themselves because of what they could potentially bring to the team as they have the right skill set. NBA will start to look bad and ugly if Adam Silver won't do such rule or move to lessen these kind of movements and the team which these superstars are on will be so unfortunate if ever they're players will start forcing a trade just because the line up is not suitable for them.

Honestly who knows.  There could easily be a situation in which they are working out a deal right now, and on the flipside it can be cold as ice.  I don't think the situation is or will be awkward at all, just normal nba business during the offseason honestly.  Ayers always say it...in the end its just a business.  So if they end up on the court together I expect them 3 to dominate a ton of games together.

That seems possible because after all, those are star players we are talking about, and who knows, after all, they haven't tried playing together yet and maybe they can somehow sync their play and become a competitive team to reach the playoffs. But this is just mere speculation because we all know that those two really want to leave the team if given a good offer. Right now, if they are still in the team, they need to start practicing how they will become effective inside the court together against their opponents who are now improved a lot since Ben Simmons was playing.

I guess there would be switching or leaving scenarios that might happen in the coming days. There will surely be bigger offers that they would prefer grabbing over their current status. We should expect the unexpected be because this usually happens before they start their training period. However, Ben Simmons will be someone to prepare for this season.

On that point only them who can speak on behalf, as fans, we are just looking to hear news and updates  including rumors and possible

scenarios to what will happen to those players who are asking for a trade, maybe they will be able to get what they want or they will be staying

on the same team and will play alongside with who they've got from their squad.

The new docuseries on the Lakers has started airing on Hulu. So far it’s just the first two episodes and I haven’t had a chance to watch yet, but after seeing the HBO special on them (Winning Time) I’m anxious for some new material to watch on them. I hope it’s done as well as the HBO special. I’ll find out soon enough…
