It's too obvious from Coach Kerr, that is a give away. Their bench is paved a way to make it a close match and he could've called Curry and Klay as early as they could but it's like there's a lag before he did it. It doesn't matter, the Warriors will definitely win this in game 5.
How about Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics later. This series is kinda unpredictable and I could not tell if the Heat do have the upper hand at their home. Boston stole one from them and it could happen again.
I may just watch the game and forget about betting.

Steve Kerr almost calls it a game because of 99-70 behind entering the 4th Quarter. But his bench squad managed to cut it by 8 points haha.

I don't know if Kerr will put back his main starters lol. The Warriors outscored the Mavericks by 32-13 with 3 minutes left in the final quarter.

What a rally from the Warriors bench lol. This is the problem of the Mavericks since the beginning of this series. I'm expecting lots of criticism later after the game even if the Mavericks will win this game.

EDIT: 119-109 Mavericks
Mavericks pulled off 1 win, I think the series ends in game 5. GSW will close it out at home. Luka is a good player, but he is a ball hog and needs a couple more years to mature.
And better roleplayers. I am not saying they are bad but it lacks something. They won against Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns but why does it look like they are mismatch for the Warriors in such a big gap. I think it's the winning material that they are missing.
I'd keep Brunson and Dinwiddie for these guys best describes a wingman of Luka whenever he needs help. But for their forwards and centers, I may only keep Powell.
I wish this won't be like what happened to Dirk when he is near retirement (33) before he claimed the victory of a Finals. It may be sweet but more championships while being young is sweeter.

Mavs needs more players who can help Luka, Brunson and Dinwiddie are not consistent in terms of lift that Luka needs.

Another star or a great set of role players who can bring more help in both ways.
look how the Warriors are playing right now, whoever coach Kerr is bringing inside
the player is making sure that he will add something that will be felt by the team,
they are all dedicated according to the role the coach calls them to help.

I missed the game today, but I guess you are correct. Why not extend the series for one more game and win at home. Mavs only has little to non chances of winning this series though. And, so much for Luka trying to be LeBron carrying the Mavs to the finals. I'm not even sure why the Luka and Porzingis didn't worked out. I think experience and maturity is really essential for Luka for the team to work whoever important pieces the Mavs will acquire.

EDIT: 119-109 Mavericks
I will just criticize the Mavs bench. All they had to do is dribble the ball until the shot-clock is almost depleted and score a pair. That's it, then they can keep the lead to maybe above 15 at 2 minutes making their starters rest more in preparation for Game 5. But that's not what happened. They made them worry and were put back in to secure it.
What if Luka was injured at that time? They are going to receive a lot more than criticism afterward.  Grin
They will lose Game 5, no doubt. I see a winning player in the Mavs team but not a winning team. That's why MJ loves him.

EDIT: 119-109 Mavericks
I didn't watch the whole game because I taught that this is over already when the Mavericks are leading by 20+ but when I saw the final score, I was surprised a bit that the game ended up the Mavericks winning by only 10 points.

TBH, I'm not surprised that this will happen. I'm thinking that the Warriors want to win on their home court before going to the NBA Finals. Another one is they gave Kuminga and Moody more minutes. In a normal playoff game, Coach Kerr doesn't give them that much time to play and there are times that Kuminga doesn't play at all. I mean the Warriors know that they got this already that is why they are doing a bit of experiments and make some adjustments for Game 5.

Correct me but in this game, the Mavericks just exposed themselves. In Game 3, Bullock, Kleber and Finney-Smith shot very terrible that's why they lost. In this game, they shot very well that's why they got the win. Base on my observation, putting a great Warrior defender to at least these 3 players will increase their chances of winning. If they are having a bad night, they will lose. Of course not a certainty though but just my observation.

I believe that this will end in 5 games. I believe that the Warriors will end it on their next game and wait for the winner in the East.

I think Steve Kerr decision to cut there bench momentum is a very bad idea considering how bad the shooting accuracy of his starting player is. I believe the Mavs points advantage will be lower than 8 if the bench continues the momentum since the game tempo change when the starting player come back again and take over the game.
Maybe it was a poor call but with the starters well rested and the game became close, I think any coach would have done the same thing. The bench did a good job cutting the lead with their high pace plays but Kerr probably thought they're still inexperienced how to finish the game.

~
but I doubt that they are going to win this series.
Only the die hard Mavs fan would think they can still win.

Yeah, the guy is just 23 y/o. Maybe cut down on his weight with a little workout too. He really looks slow and heavy for a professional basketball player his age.

WTF is wrong with Mavericks always on 2nd hald. They have 19points advantage with just 5 minutes remaining while there full force team is totally dominated by the GSW bench and down the lead to 8 points with 3 mins remaining. I don't bet on any of this team but GSW seems like giving away this game but Mavs don't want to take it. Kuminga has an impressive 3 points shot to cut the lead on to singe digit. I hope Mavs can get this match for a better next game match.

^ Warriors forcing Luka to go right and trap him there has been effective in a few possessions but the Mavs three is dropping. I didn't check the stats in the third quarter but I think they scored more beyond the arc than in the paint or perimeter. Trailing by 29 points, I think Kerr will rest his starting players in the fourth quarter. It's not a bad decision to avoid any injuries in the fourth and finish the series at home.

Unrelated to basketball but it's nice if the Mavs get the W here as a tribute to the victims of the Texas shooting.

And then finished them off at their home court in Chase Center. So they are intentionally taking a dive.

First time that their shots are failing, this is their main weapons against the Suns. And as we have said, you live and die with the 3. But this time they are hitting so it's all good. So at least for the Mavs, another experience for them in game 5, but I doubt that they are going to win this series.

62 - 47 Dallas Mavericks half-time.

The most crucial quarter for the Mavericks is approaching. Every of their 3rd Quarter performance of the whole current series against the Warriors, that's always the time Mavericks show some changes from their good first-half performance to worst. If they will repeat the same mistake for the 4th time, the Warriors will again outscore them. They should not do the same mistake especially in Game 2 where they blew a large lead.

Although this series is now for the Warriors by high chance, Mavericks should try to win the game better than being swept.

Celtics really needed that win. I do not know what I could really change with their system, when they are clicking they are really doing amazingly and this was another example of that.

I know that it's not going to be easy to decide the winner of this series but I seriously root for Celtics and that is a rare thing that I would ever say, as a Kobe fan I grew up hating them to be fair. In any other case, we should be quite happy to see such a close series, unlike Warriors who are about to sweep Mavs if they win one more game. I guess west is already decided, nobody ever came from 3-0 down, even if they manage to win one or two games, it's over already.

Yeah, the upcoming matches of the Heat vs. Celtics series are likely to be very intense. So I wouldn't be surprised if the winner of the Eastern Conference finals is determined only in the 7th match of this series. As for the Western Conference, there is no doubt that the Warriors will win the WCF. Although it would be expected if the Warriors let the Mavs win tonight, and then they win the Western Conference title in game 5 at the home arena.

Well the Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics series certainly just got very interesting. I was shocked to see how poorly the Heat starters played. Also have to wonder if Jimmy Butler will play fully healthy at all during the rest of this playoffs. I have to think he wasn’t feeling at his best last night.  Just insane him, Lowry and two other starters all being held under 10 points.

For me, this was really inevitable because most of the Miami Heat key players were injured even before the game earlier like Lowry and Butler, also Herro wasn't there to at least help the team chase the Celtic's lead but was also suffering from an injury. Jimmy Butler should have just rested because they quite know already that their chances on winning game earlier was really low because the almost all the key players on the Celtics were present. Now, they just made their situation even worse as the Celtics will be always watching for them to have an advantage.

I believe that the Heat will bounce back in Game 5 and if Herro will still be out on their next game, they must utilize Robinson more at least in this series because he really is a good 3 point-shooter. The only problem with him is his defense, but his offense can cover it up (I think).
They benched him for that reason. Defense. Spoelstra will be gambling in Game 5 if he will make most of his plays for Robinson. That will be wild and it will raise a lot of questions if it fails.
Let's just hope Jimmy and Tyler will be in their best condition at home.
Just bad game for the Heat in game 4, just imagine with 6 minutes left, they only scored 1 point, from FT and can't buy a basket and then finished the quarter with just 11 points.

And then White scoring the first 7 points for the Celtics and that's what they just needed, take that early lead and increased in and never give the chance to the Heat to make a comeback. So now it's time to see what the Heat is made of in game 5.
Bad game + good defense of the Celtics are the key ingredients for that win.
White is a good player, I don't why they have used them for only 14 minutes in Game 3. He is one of the core of SAS before and I think he will be helpful as a back up point to call their plays.

That was a big bounce back by the Celtics, they clearly dominated the game from the start until the end. Actually, Heat only during the garbage time but it's not vital anymore as it's very clear that Celtics already took the win, so the series now is 2-2, good luck to the next 3 games.

Indeed, the bounce back really shows how Boston eagerness not to allow Miami to take a 2 game lead from this series.

Tatum's adjustment gives them that huge edge to win the game at home. The series is now going
to the best of 3, Miami needs to make a good adjustment moving back at home.

They need to protect that home court advantage defense and chemistries in moving the ball
to execute proper offense.
