I agree that the Warriors will probably be favorites in the final series against both the Heat and the Celtics. However, it's worth noting that the Heat can sometimes be very good at defense. So if the Heat finds a way to stop the splash brothers, then they might have a chance to win the final series. Moreover, the result of game 6 showed that the Heat players were not going to give up.
I also imagine that... I believe the Warriors will be the champions in this season... and many people expect it too

For this not happen, the Celtics/Heat will need an excellent performance defensively and offensively to beat the Warriors.

The question is who is going to stop the splash brothers on Heat side? plus they have Jordan Poole to contend as well. And then they have a good movement, very dynamic that if they defender just for a second blink, the splash brothers are open to go for a 3 point. And whoever it is, they have to do it day in, day out to pull a upset win against the Warriors in the NBA Finals.

Heat had an amazing game 6 and even though it was a close game, they were managed to get the big win. But the injuries their players having are a big question for the game 7. Tyler Herro will probably miss game 7. And Kyle Lowry (hamstring), Max Strus (hamstring) and P.J. Tucker (knee) are also questionable. Only for the sake of the series and the quality of basketball, I wish Heat will have a full roster as much as possible. This changes things in my opinion. If both teams would be healthy, I would say Heat is the probable winner but with these injuries, they need another miracle performances from Butler and someone else.

And maybe that is their last stand against Boston in game 6. However, it's not over yet, that's what they said of the Heat, that Celtics are going to end the series. But they have survived and now are going to play at their court with confidence even though they are ridden with injuries. And again, players like Butler are going to try and win, against all expectations. So this could be another close one and it's hard to predict who is going to win but the Celtics again are the favorite.

Hard to predict do or die game between these 2 eastern final contenders, players are really doing all the best

that they can to win each game, we can't really tell who's going to move forward for the final appearance
and it's great to see both teams are doing their best.

Another adjustment will be expected for both sides. The core players are the first line to rely on winning this
series, experienced and eagerness will reward them the win!

Though this may be the case, I still doubt that the Heat (assuming they win game 7) can pass through the powerhouse of GSW. The team chemistry, individual skills, and player development of the latter is just too difficult to overcome.

I think Celtics would be a tougher team for the Warriors than the Heat, simply because the Celtics are imo better defensively, but you really can't take way how impressive the Heat were in the regular season, they've not been the same thing in the post season however, but I understand that all the guys are playing with some level of injury and none of these players is even 85-90% fit and if it were to be the regular season, most of them would be sitting games out.

Both Heat and Celtics doesn't really give a fuc* where they are playing as we have seen in this series so you can take out the home advantage for game 7 when betting.

....
Now I think Tyler Herro will be able to play in Game 7 considering he was forcing the coaching staff and management to let him play in Game 6. He may feel better now and that will be a great addition to the Heat's offense who had been exhausting their options.
Also, a good spacer with his isolation attacks and transition plays. That kid is never afraid to shoot or attack the paint.
He did well in game 1 but I have not been impressed with his overall performance in this series so far. He's not afraid to shoot I give him that but he's also made poor decisions like not running down the clock when they're leading.

I was wrong about Mavericks as I thought like they would win two or three games in their series. They gave up on the series very earlier and Warriors became the champions of the Western Conference very easily by 4-1 in total. After seeing them play sharp against Suns before, my expectations were really high from Mavericks in this. But they didn't even get close to Warriors's level I'm afraid. I guess that many people weren't expecting Warriors to finish it this much dominant. I must add that I really liked Thompson in the game too.

They didn't give up but the Golden State Warriors just dominate them early. It's clear that the Warriors and Mavericks have a wide gap.

The Warriors are playing at a high level and I think they have a big chance to be the NBA champion this season. I can't see how teams in the East will deal with the Warriors. Their young guns are also contributing well and they deserved to taste their first NBA title experience.

Mavericks can come back anytime. They are still young. It's a good experience that they faced the championship lineup of the Warriors.

Mavericks can still do better than this in the future. I agree on it one hundred percent. As for Warriors' probable opponent in the NBA finals, I don't expect Warriors to deal with it easily. We had better get prepared for an amazing final round for the championship. It seems to me like Celtics are closer to the finals now but I'm saying it by comparing the real power of both teams. Normally they have equal chance to do this now as the series is 3-3. If we see a Celtics - Warriors finale, I'm going with Celtics. But in the other case, I'm picking Warriors.

The game between the Celtics and Heat showed the dominance of Jimmy Butler especially when his back is against a wall. Dishing out 47 points, he dominated the paint and showed confidence on why he is the best player on the league right now. Arguably, I would say that he is underrated as people underestimate his capabilities on the court. He is known to at least have any role on the court especially with his athleticism and raw strength that managed to push the Heat to a game 7.

And that's what made Jimmy Butler one of the best player right now, he showed that he can carry the Heat into the Finals with another 40 point+ performance against the Celtics.

Though this may be the case, I still doubt that the Heat (assuming they win game 7) can pass through the powerhouse of GSW. The team chemistry, individual skills, and player development of the latter is just too difficult to overcome.

It's gonna be different though, Warriors is like a well-oiled machine right now. Everyone know their piece of the puzzle and will fit perfectly on it without any struggle and I think majority here will agree to me that Warriors has a good chance to win the this years NBA championship.

Many still believe that Heat will not succeed in going to the Finals.
I'm actually surprised seeing the current spread, Heat is +2.5 in their home court, and I have a feeling that it will go +3.5 as the game schedule is approaching.

Heat has to play harder, and show some consistency as I don't think Butler would be able to score 47 points again, not in game 7 where the game will be so physical.
Heat is not seen as a team that can have a clear path to a title, because they have a lot of players who shoot well, but since that 27 threes missed in a row by Rockets, nobody really trusts a team that wins so many games win three pointing. If they had a few other places where they are amazing, above league average clearly, then they would have gotten it.

I would say that they have a chance to win, but it all depends on their shots falling on the last game, I know it sounds like a cliche and obvious, but I wouldn't say this if it wasn't that much obvious difference. All in all I believe that they are going to be awesome in the long run in couple of years, they have a very young core.

Awesome win by the Miami Heat 111-103. They surely wrecked the majority of the bettors, especially on the handicap.

This surprised me too and even think that the Celtics will now close the series. We can see that it's only Jimmy Butler who saves the day. There's really no problem with him regarding consistency but the team will go nowhere if they will just rely on Butler although a great hassle plays courtesy of his teammates during the last minutes. That was an exhausting game for Butler but good thing they have won.

Sudden-death next game at the FTX Arena, home of the Miami Heat. We will now see who will enter the NBA Finals to face the Golden State Warriors.

I guess everyone was betting on the Celtics that's why the spread is very high, but in the game, it was a different Heat that we are seeing, they are playing with sense of urgency and they played the right defense in order to win. Butler was really special, he was doing everything to win and now we will see a game 7.

So what's going to be the bet in game 7? home team or road team?

For sure that's the case and the odds on the Heat's side was juicy, lots have been expected that the Celtics will advance earlier and there are also lots of upset because of that bet Grin

Jimmy Butler was a different beast today as he carried the team even if the Celtics are trying to answer every shot they make but it's too much for the Celtics earlier.

It will be the road team, the Boston Celtics who will win. They are more capable in terms of defensive and offensive capabilities, it's just that they didn't expected what happened earlier in Game 6.

I'm waiting excitedly for the seventh and last game of the Heat - Celtics series now. The result of the sixth game was not that surprising to me by the way. I was waiting for Heat to keep their chance to advance to the finals. They carried their hopes to the last game by a solid performance last night. Butler took a huge responsibility in this game by having 47 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. There was no player at Celtics to get very close to his performance. But in the last game of this series, my favourite team are definitely Celtics. I don't think they will be eliminated just yet. I think that they deserve the finals a little more than Heat.

I have to say Lebron finishing 2016 by leading BOTH teams in all 5 categories, ppg, rebounds, assists ,steals, blocks for the whole final series is THE most dominant I have seen a player get. This isn't just his own team, this is both teams, he lead all these five categories between all the 20+ players, on a series that went to 7 games. All in all, 47 points is not that bad, but even Donovan Mitchell scored more, so I think it was just pretty helpful, but thats it.

Hi OP, I'm just a bit confused with the poll.

What do you mean by "finals poll coming"?
I just voted for fun although I don't understand, but would care to explain what's it all about?
I think he hasn't updated it yet or waiting for the end of the Eastern Conference.  Grin "coming"

That's a joke of a line.  1 seed at home game 7 in a do or die situation when the heat been so tough to beat this year.  Gimme the heat getting points AT home, crazy.

Food for thought in a win or go home IN Boston Jimmy does this:
47 points
9 rebounds
8 assists
4 steals
1 block
16-29 from the field
11-11 free throws
4-8 from deep

One if the best playoff performances I've seen in the last decade or so. Jimmy buckets for the win in game 7
I'll ride that. Jimmy Buckets. Now I think Tyler Herro will be able to play in Game 7 considering he was forcing the coaching staff and management to let him play in Game 6. He may feel better now and that will be a great addition to the Heat's offense who had been exhausting their options.

The good thing was Butler was in the zone yesterday so they came up with a W.

I was wrong with my speculation that Boston Celtics will now finally end the series. But that won't change my speculation on the next game that the Celtics will still advance to the Finals even if they will play Game 7 at the Miami Heat homecourt.

I like the Celtics to advance to Finals because this team is not a one-man team. If Miami Heat will advance instead, they will just rely on Jimmy Butler. PJ Tucker and Kyle Lowry's good plays tonight are just shown in the last minutes. Bam Adebayo is also not consistent. That's not the adjustment should they do if ever they will face the Warriors at the Finals.

Many still believe that Heat will not succeed in going to the Finals.

My prediction will be GSW and Miami Heat in the finals but for the champion for this season I really think that it will be in GSW as they really prepared for this playoffs. They have healthy players and I see that Klay also really are at heat to win this playoffs with the help of Poole, Looney and Wigins I really think no one can stop their offense most of their game the opposing players have score advantage after halftime but after that they still managed to caught up and win the game.

Many predict that and GSW is the most pick team to win the championship this season so its not surprising at all that many will bet on them knowing how they defeat the Mavs on last series. What more cool to watch here is who will be their opponent between Celtics and Heat since things go more hotter between these team. But I'm expecting that Celtics will win this because this match will be battle of shooters and its exciting to watch on who will win among them.
