The Denver Nuggets held on for the victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets were eating them up on both ends of the floor. Their defense was all over Anthony Edwards all night long doubling him on the perimeter and not letting him get up shots. On the other end they were making Gobert look like he couldn’t guard anyone, embarrassing the defensive player of the year.
The Timberwolves Assistant Coach said the plan was to let Nikola Jokic shoot but avoid distributing the ball to his teammates. Very, very wrong decision by them. He dominated the game with 40 points and still had 10 assists and 2 rebounds shy of another triple-double.
I think that should not be the plan because Gobert cannot guard him at all. When it comes to offense Gobert has a big problem with his footwork, Jokic ain't even defending him and he keeps on turning and spinning below the rim without anyone guarding him.

The plan of Coach Malone on the other hand was successful. Double team the Antman and everything will be alright. But all of that will not be successful without the help of the energetic Christian Braun. That kid is all over the floor. Rebounding, helping in the double, shooting, attacking the paint, and fast breaks. He used his youth to dominate the game and it was damn entertaining to watch.

Brunson doing everything right now with 28 points already in the first half. I wonder if he could keep that intensity up in the second but it looks like he's saving up in the third and he'll do it all over again in the fourth. Pacers are not that far behind and they may outlast the knicks in the final five minutes.

And they did, Brunson carry the team again, but there are some unsung heroes in the Knicks uniform. Donte only had 8 points, Mcbride and then Burks did contribute in this game. But for me the biggest unheralded star is Isaiah Hartenstein, grabbing a big 17 rebounds and some few blocks. And for those who didn't know, Hartenstein is black as his father Florian is black,

https://basketnews.com/news-203932-isaiah-hartenstein-is-black-knicks-players-in-shock-after-such-reveal.html

Denver though is leading the over the Wolves and there is good chance that they might take a 3-2 lead in this series.

I’m watching this Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets game and so far the Nuggets have done a good job at keeping Anthony Edwards in check. At the same time Joker is having a great game so the Timberwolves have an uphill battle to fight. They’re going to need Anthony Edwards to have a much better second half to win this one.

I agree with OG here about Bronny, I don't know if the media is all over him because he's so good. But I guess that the blood and relation to Lebron of course is doing its job in there.

There are better prospects that him and I think that the draft will be lesser this time, IIRC. Some teams are rumored to skip this and looking forward for better class on 2025.

Boston, why do you need to create heartattacks to you beloved fans? Im not one of them but damn guys, yesterday was a sealed game but when only left 1.55 minutes Cleveland comes and put the gap only to a five points margin 97-102, and i really think Boston was gonna crumble, but they react and ended up winning in a solid way.

Because of their huge gap and experiences in the playoffs games such as that one, every crucial game is carefully analyzed and there is only a very little chance for the Cavs to win against them, especially at this point of the series. now they are only one win ahead to eliminate them and once again get to the conference final against a decent team like Indiana or Pacers we can say that they are gonna get to the final with a high percentage chance unless a bad injury happens to both their star and role players.

It's a bit crazy to see that Bronny James only measured at 6'1" for the NBA after being listed as 6'4" his entire adult career.  That makes me wonder a little bit if Bryce is really as tall as they say he is.  In any event, this is more bad news for Bronny's career.  He was just one of the worst players on a bad college team and now he's going to end up being a high draft pick in the hopes that LeBron will join him in the future.  I'll be surprised if Bronny ever plays in an NBA game during the actual season, but we're about to see how far the name James will take him.
The expectation is there because he's a son of Lebron James but stats wise, I am not into it but with what I have seen, he doesn't have good stats during his college days. But still, despite that he's already having a good life thanks to his dad, he's still trying to make up for himself and with the media does right now on him, it seems this NBA combine is giving him the exposure that he needs. I think that he's already prospected by some teams because whoever gets him, will get his dad probably for the last season. So it's gonna be a package but is it going to be worth it for them? I've heard that Atlanta is trying to make space for the two, I dunno or probably that was just an assumed comment by a stranger that I've remembered.

I don’t know if that Atlanta talk is real or not. I doubt any team will waste their first round pick on Bronny. He did show a bit of his athletic ability with the fourth highest vertical jump. So he isn’t a scrub or anything. I also
Saw he got a few buckets today in a scrimmage. If he goes to the NBA though, I think he’ll be a late pick for the Lakers, otherwise he’d probably go undrafted.

All series are tied except for Boston and Cleveland. Boston will win game 5 for sure, just like they did against the Miami Heat. It's hard to predict whether the Pacers or Knicks will win their series, but either team will be easy for the Celtics to beat. I think the Celtics can sweep either the Pacers or the Knicks.

Sadly for Cleveland, If only Mitchell is not injured they might possibly extend this series for a potential game 7 since their current roster still gives Boston a hard time. Cleveland only lacks the ability to play efficiently on crucial quarter that’s why they can’t finish the game with W.

There’s talk now that LeBron’s appearance at Cleveland’s last game was a recruitment visit. There’s also talk that with Donovan Mitchell’s injury he has potentially played his final game in a Cavaliers uniform. The Los Angeles Lakers have supposedly placed Mitchell at the top of their wishlist for this offseason to replace Russell.

Wolves coming back? Not sure about this one because they blow their chance at home, and now back at Denver where the home team are hungry for the win, I think a loss here means their series is over. They have no answer on the Nuggets so far,  2 losses and not even close, I wonder what kind of adjustment they'll make in game 5 to still take the lead in the series.

No problem with ANT man, this guy is really exeptional, but whoever is guarding Gordon, he can't be almost perfect again in game 5.
With that lost opportunity, I don't also think that the Timberwolves can defeat the defending champions. When they are up 2-0, of course many already thought that they will sweep them (including me) because the next 2 games will be on their home. Now they lost that opportunity, and like what happened with the Nuggets' fans in the first 2 games, the Wolves' audience also got disappointed on how their team played in their home in the next 2 games. Kind of disappointing if you're a Wolves fan to see your team lose on your home 2 consecutive times, but that's basketball. Cheesy

Anyway, if the pattern continues, the Nuggets will lose this one in 7 games. The Nuggets must win on Game 5 to break that pattern and win in 7 games. As for the Wolves, like you said, they need to guard Gordon better but if that happens, more players like MPJ, and Murray will have more open shots. Overall, the ball movement of the Nuggets is just that amazing that the Wolves are having a hard time coping up on their defense even though they're the top defensive team last regular season.

Luka missing that shot was of course important, and free throws do miss time to time it is not something he should care about a lot, if he keeps on turning this into a new fear then it would be even worse. They could still win this series, it is only tied, and they just need two more wins, they look like the better team at some times, but to be fair OKC finished the season with this many wins for a reason, they are not some terrible team like they used to, getting that many picks made them this much better.
That caused them the game, and the potential 3-1 lead.

Just imagine. The Mavericks have the control for most of the game, but they lost it slowly in the 4th quarter, lost the lead and eventually lost the game. I wonder how they are feeling with that lost, but they need to come back in the next games if they want to make an upset and beat the top-seeded Thunder. Anyway, this just shows that you're not safe even though you are playing on your own home court.

As for Dallas and Oklahoma, hopefully OKC wins the series in game 6. I'm tired of Luka Doncic flopping all game and missing crucial free throws. 🤦‍♂️

It’s really sucks to missed that 1 free throw but I think OKC defense on the last 2 minutes is the one kill them since they have other opportunity after missing that 1 free throw to tie the game but they can’t penetrate OKC defense. SGA mid jumper kills them.

OKC also still has so many picks as well, they keep getting picks all the time, they could just package them together and get a star to this team which would make them even better if you ask me. They have what it takes to win it all one day in the future, but I do not think that it is today.

^^ Cavs are down 3-1 and without their best player and going up against the best team in the league in the regular season, I don't think that they can make this series and it could be 4-1 next and they are eliminated.

Must watch are the series in the West,

Wolves vs Nuggets, 2-2 when we think that the Jordan like ANT can finished the defending champion, Denver came back with a huge win and returning the favor back to Wolves.
OKC vs Mavs, 2-2 as well with the young OKC taking game 4 with a big comeback.

Looks like the semifinal series in this playoffs aren't as predictable as they may have seemed at first, except for the Celtics-Cavs series. Obviously, the Celtics are to be congratulated now for their impending run to the Eastern Conference Finals. As for the other semifinal series, I'd favor the Wolves, Thunder, and Knicks.

But they got 2 wins as well against the Nuggets in their homecourt, and so this game is not about homecourt advantage anymore. It's about who is going to execute and be consistent day in day out and this series down to best of 3 now.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Rudy Gobert who is guarding Gordon as they Wolves doesn't want Gobert vs Jokic as they know that Jokic is going to take advantage of that matchup and so they point KAT or Naz Reid. But Jokic having high basketball IQ was able to adjust in the next 2 games and giving the ball to Gordon and him hitting those outside shots.

This 2 series are very unpredictable, although my picks are Nuggets and Dallas, I can't be too confident now that the series are tied. I'll just be thinking of good luck for my teams, hopefully the Nuggets will win tomorrow.
That's so true. I am also both Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks fan but I cannot tell which will win. I thought Dallas would win that game as they had a great start while the OKC Thunder most of the time are the ones trying to catch up.
Like what the commentator said in that game, it felt like watching the 90's game. The defense was so high, that the rim defenders namely, Daniel Gafford with 3 blocks, Dereck Lively II with 4 blocks and, Chet Holmgren with 4 blocks and 1 steal, these guys are playing at a high level of focus to not let anyone get near the rim and shoot.
I love that type of game, the defense will tell which will win the game and it feels like watching old-school NBA.

Right, but we can't deny what SGA shows in this game, mid-range shot is very effective and that shot in the corner, that was a beauty. Gafford is known to be a shot blocker what surprises is Lively turning out to be a good role player, in their center position and a fit for Luka and Kyrie's play.

Unfortunately, I think everyone here is favoring the Mavs, and it will be a great win for us a bettor if they get this one.
Luka is not 100% healthy, I think Irving needs to step us as the leader now, Game 5 is very important as the winner of that is already close to winning th e series. Although Doncic had a triple double in the game but his shooting is awful, only 6-20, I guess next game he needs to share the ball more as the defense was really tough on him.

Nuggets vs Wolves, another great series, another unpredictable in next game, Nuggets though is the favorite now as they are back at home.

Yeah, the momentum is now on the Nuggets plus they are playing at home and it will be their first win at home tomorrow if they'll succeed.
