I was using the internet today and read a very interesting news!

Klay Thompson is already playing normally and training and playing a contact game.
There are great chances that he will return to play in the NBA games.

But I didn't get a precise date that this event will happen.

By the way, who else here is looking forward to Thompson's return to the Warriors?

I really hope that this news turns out to be true. Golden State Warriors are already doing a great job though as they are at the second place in the Western Conference now. But Stephen Curry has a big responsibility here to help his team win their games one by one. In the games that he doesn't score so many points, GSW struggle more. By the return of K. Thompson, GSW would be even stronger than now.

I guess every NBA fans are waiting for him to return?

Him and Steph are the most potent and dangerous outside shooters we have seen in the last 5-7 years and we wanted to see him again after what 2 seasons that he has been out?

Maybe late this year or early next year we might see a glimpse of Klay Thompson on GSW jersey and not on the bench anymore and hopefully he can get back fully recovered and 100% healthy.
I also read a thread regarding Klay Thompson's return this season, it's a great news for the Warriors that their point guard is coming back to play again after he tore his ACL way back Finals 2019. They didn't have the schedule of when Klay when play but they said it's now only a matter of weeks before we can sim him play again. With his return, Warriors is now even tough to beat because he's one of the big 3 and vital for the team.

As a Warrior fan, I'm excited to see Thompson's return to the court.
I mean who isn't? We haven't seem him playing for the last 2 seasons because of the injury. Many want to see if the Splash Brothers connection is still there. Many wants to see how will the team be with Thompson returning. Can we see a Big 3 now instead of just the Splash Brothers with Poole adding to the list? Many questions and it will be answered once Klay will return.

Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?
Since we all know that he is capable of scoring 50 points, I think this is kinda expected therefore many aren't speaking it anymore.
Its kinda funny that people are speaking more when the Lakers are losing than KD scoring 50 points in a single game Cheesy.

Yes, because we are not surprised anymore, he is a great player and he can drop that numbers anytime. Durant is now the leading candidate for MVP, I must say based on my observation, and as he continues to play impressive basketball, there's a huge chance that he'll win the award. Brooklyn are really a good 4th quarter team, 30-13, that's the dominance they have.

I agree with you, KD is big player, No one is surprised by this man anymore. I usually watch Brooklyn because it's the most enjoyable team in my opinion.
Kyrie should to be vaccinated asap. I think Brooklyn will be even more enjoyable if Kyrie plays.

Detroit Pistons are on an incredibly bad streak now and I guess that they are even getting close to breaking a consecutive loss record. They lost to Brooklyn Nets last night too and this was their 12th loss in a row. I really am curious about what is happening to this team. They lost by 104-116 in their home court and KD's performance was incredibly good. He got 51 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists. Harden was resting but KD still carried the team superbly.

Yes, sure!! I also believe he will be back until the end of the year.

Let's see if Klay Thompson really will make a significant difference and if he still has chemistry and rapport with the other Warriors players!

I'm so excited about Thompson's return

There was a rumor that he would return by December, and if that will not happen, then I guess we will see him early next year, or if not, how about the playoffs where he is good at. Let's continue following the update regarding Klay Thompson, as long as he receives a good signal, he will be back in the lineup for sure.

I guess everyone is excited for Klay's return. Well, who else doesn't when the Warriors are playing in a high level performance. His addition might boost their performance even more better.
Everyone is also excited on the Playoffs to figure who's really the best team and who's going to make it to the finals this year as there were a lot of promising team and it's becoming more and more unpredictable.
Gone are those days where Miami, Cleveland or GSW has been dominating and obviously make the finals appearance.

Right, I'm expecting him to play December, nevertheless if it didn't happen then we are all good.

I guess it's really up to the performance of the current roster, and since they are really looking sharp except in their last game, then Klay's return can be pushed back early next year. Of course though, the sooner we see him the better for us basketball fans.

Him, Curry and Giannis and to a certain extent Joel Embid is putting MVP numbers.

I really thought that the Pistons will take this one from them, but damn, they played really good defense in the fourth with Durant exploded.

And that's what have been missing for them, that fourth quarter closed out. And now it seems they've found their rhythm.

I think he caught a bad rap just because Kahwi came in and took them to the promise land.
This was really one of the talk of the town when they won the league without him.

That's good to know.  You don't hear people talk about that much and it has to be hard on Derozan that he put in so many years and then many people thought it was his departure for Kawhi that led to the championship when in reality it was more about other teams having a laundry list of injuries.  If they wouldn't have used any sort of common sense in playing KD then the Warriors would have won easily.  Who puts a guy in a game with a sore muscle that has been icing it?  Nobody talks about that, but KD's injury to me was so obviously due to icing his leg on the sidelines and then immediately putting him in the game.

Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?

The Lakers and Blazers are struggling on the teams that are not even championship contenders, looks like they were dragged too low with their current playing condition this season and let others get their spot in the playoffs. They should have easily managed to stretch their lead but they're the one's are struggling right now and if the Lakers will lose this one too, that would hit them hard because the fans will toss them again just like when they lost the game vs the Memphis.

I agree, specially with Portland, although they have been hit by multiple injuries first with Dame and now with CJ and there has been rumours as well of a CJ-Ben Simmons trade. So they are struggling at home with a tough Wolves but I think they can still pull this one off, score is tied 104-104. They lead as much as 5 points but that eaten out by the Wolves in the last 2 minutes. So let's see how the game will turn out to be in the last 3 minutes.

Lakers on the news again hehe https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media/los-angeles-lakers-have-the-slowest-average-running-speed-and-highest-percentage-of-time-walking

Quote
- Average running speed - 4.25 MPH - slowest in NBA

- Percentage of time walking - 68% - highest in NBA

- Miles per game - 9.3 - 2nd fewest

It's not like we didn't see this coming since they traded a lot of their young guys in exchange for veterans but I still expected them to be more explosive. A 68% walking on the court? That is probably what you normally see during exhibition games in your local area but not in the NBA.
But it doesn't mean they are lazy. It could be because of the plays. Most of them are post-up styles with Lebron watching the play circulate until he gets that opportunity for an assist. Then, their other plays are isolation types of play. When Melo holds the ball, he will shoot it no matter how long it takes and while that is happening every player of the Lakers is just waiting, no movement at all.
The same goes for Westbrook, isolation, or one play with a center rolling underneath the rim. That may explain the bad stats on movements. Fast transition plays don't happen much anymore.

...Last time Derozan took a team to conference finals or closer, they got eliminated and got swept, dude is not a great playoff player.
Are you talking about his days as a Raptor? I don't like some of his shot selections during crunch time but let's be fair to him. It's never that easy when you have D. Wade or Lebron James who are HOF waiting for him.

You definitely can't blame Derozan for those losses to LeBron in the playoffs.  I think he caught a bad rap just because Kahwi came in and took them to the promise land.  I think given the lack of competition due to injuries, it's somewhat likely that the Raptors would have won without the trade.  Not to say that Kahwi isn't a better player...  The Derozan we're seeing this year seems different anyway.  He seems like he's in a good place with the right fit.  Once the Bulls get beyond this latest covid setback I'm sure they'll be back to being a force to be reckoned with well into the playoffs.

Bulls could be looking good so far, but I feel like they won't be as great when it is time for the playoffs and they will be eliminated very quickly, either first round or second at best. Let's see how they will do without him in order to make a better decision.
That will be unfortunate since they are one of the teams that makes the East more exciting to watch.

I agree that Bulls have to find a quick adjustment when he's not available.
