New York Knicks - Golden State Warriors was a really nice game and Warriors managed to beat their competitor by a 105-96 result. Stephen Curry didn't have a very effective performance comparing to the usual but they still got this win.
Yes, but what's important is they win, and Curry is the leading scorer of the team as the game is a low scoring game.

1st Curry, 22 points
2nd Poole 19
3rd Wiggins 18 points.

They are still very effective for me as they shared the ball very well.

You have got a point there. As long as there is a big teamplay, Warriors will still have a serious chance to win. And it is not very good to depend on only one man all the time normally. But Stephen Curry is a very valuable personality for the team. He broke the 3-point record in history last night. The record belonged to Ray Allen before. And I saw him also there congratulating Curry.

Still no news on Irving?

What's the update of his vaccination? is he still gonna stand with his words?
I can't find any news about that. All I found over the internet are trade rumors when the trading market begins again and that's now. December 15 if I am not mistaken.
Here is the long list of the players available for trade.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/team-by-team-look-at-every-nba-player-eligible-to-be-traded-on-dec-15/
Also, this might be the best information to answer the question.
Quote
The Philadelphia 76ers are still searching for the perfect deal for Ben Simmons, who hasn't played for the team this season. Similarly, the Brooklyn Nets are open to trading Kyrie Irving, given the fact that he also doesn't appear to be any closer to playing for the team than he was at the start of the season. Also, the New York Knicks are looking to move Kemba Walker after the veteran guard lost his spot in the team's rotation. Plus, other teams like the Indiana Pacers, Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings could be looking to shake things up in a major way.
I am sure Kemba Walker will be traded as the Knicks already initiate the first move by not putting him in the first 5 of the team. That's a big sign and I am sure Kemba read that.

That's a huge list but I'm pretty sure only a few of the players will be traded. For Walker, I guess you have a point and I'm not sure what team will get him after his performance with the Knicks which resulted to a huge decline of his production.

CP3, Kawhi, and Melo are also open to being traded but I doubt they will ever go away or the management will.
CP3 and Kawhi might stay, not sure with Melo though.

Brooklyn Nets keep winning but there is a problem that they have now also. KD continues to carry the team for now, okay. But Harden has got covid-19 and he is not expected to play until December 23. And it is not clear whether he will be able to play right after this date. This means that he is going to miss at least 4 games. As Kyrie Irving is still insisting on not taking the jab, KD will be alone in this time period considering the trio.

This is their schedule for the next 4 games:

against Sixers, Magic, Nuggets and Wizards. So still doable for the Nets to win even without Harden in the lineup and it will be mostly Durant to carry the team. Patty Mills though is a good catch this season for them, not saying that he is going to replace Kyrie, he is not. But Patty is providing good numbers as point guard and I think Claxton first game to score double digit. Last season, he had a good year, but with the acquisition of LA, Claxton time has been limited. But now he got the minutes and played very well to help the Nets win over Toronto.

I agree. They still played quite well as a team. Curry was the most scorer of the team as usual but the contribution of the other players was also important. They wouldn't be winning otherwise.

By the way, there was another great game also last night and I think it was even more delightful. Brooklyn Nets hosted Toronto Raptors. And after a very tough competition, Nets were the victorious team with a 131-129 score. They won the game after overtime. Harden couldn't play again due to illness but KD was there to play superbly and save the team. His statistics were like this: 34 pts, 13 reb, 11 ast. It was one of the most valuable triple-doubles surely.

You also forget another good game, Phoenix vs Portland who also went into overtime.

Paul almost had a triple double with 24 points 8 rebounds and 14 assists. Him and DA (for sure Ognasty will be very proud) really help the Suns overcome the deficit after leading in the first half of the game. And they've almost lost this game. But Portland misses important FT that could have point them in the lead.

Surely because they won the game, I can say that KD is the definition of a real star like Kobe and MJ because he can carry his team to win alone, that is without his backup, and I love the Nets chances now especially if they will be complete in the playoffs.

I think Irving will stand on his words that he won't take a jab.

The Nets with KD has well adjusted already and even without Harden and Harris, they still manage to make a comeback and win in OT against Toronto.

And you are right, KD can carry the team on his shoulder, and as long as he is shooting at least 50%, they are going to win games.

Knicks resisted them in the first half really nicely but Warriors seized control of the game by the third quarter. Randle's performance (31 points, 7 rebounds) didn't help for a win. If D. Rose played better, maybe they would have won. But I don't blame him too much as he played his usual game.

Not surprising as the Warriors are a good 2nd half team, especially the 4th quarter,

So I think that's one of the main reasons the GSW are in a good place in the NBA.

Well, I still don't know if the Warriors can look like that great team they were a few seasons ago.
Practically the Warriors have already qualified to the playoffs. I believe that for GSW to stand out, Curry will need to play VERY well, although most players (including the substitutes) are standing out and helping Curry in the games.

Of course I cited this example above hypothetically, I have no doubts, because Klay Thompson will be playing very well and being an excellent duo with Curry.

Let's see how the Warriors will play during the regular season, I think all of that could influence the playoffs.

The Warriors vs Knicks game is televised on TNT tonight. Stephen Curry going for the regular season total 3 pointers made record. I think we all knew this would happen, but watching him break past Ray Allen with so much time left in his career is something special. With only 2 3s left he’s almost certain to break the record tonight and I’m guessing the crowd is going to go nuts every time he makes one.
So special. I didn't know that as a fan you could also be emotional with these things. Players break record after record while following them for a long time. Maybe we could say we are also part of that because they worked so hard to entertain their fans and of course for the love with basketball and some for the money.
Reggie Miller and Ray Allen were in attendance that made it more special. Now, he might have felt a bit of relief after that stressful expectation from his fans and analysts and can go back to his shooting spree.

What a moment as Stephen Curry broke Ray Allen’s regular season career 3s record. He came out shooting and made 2 in the first 5 minutes. They shut down play and let Steph have his moment with his teammates, Dad, and eventually made his way to Ray Allen. Of course he had to break the record with a guy in his face and hitting nothing but net. Best shooter ever. Officially.

Yeah, I missed that moment, was excited to watch it, I just took a walk and when I came back it was done already. Anyway, it is expected that Steph is going to break the record in this game and congrats.

He still have a lot of basketball games ahead of him so maybe he can pile more 3 points and it's going to be hard to break that record. And hopefully they win this game against the Knicks because I have a bet on them.

that was expected since he was only needed 2 more 3s to break that record. Well! Congrats to him, indeed! he made history today.

Now the Brooklyn Nets have come back vs Toronto Raptors after suffering some low percentage shots in the 3rd quarter and now it was Patty Mills who are sinking 3s and looks like they gonna win this one if they don't choke in the last minutes of the game since the Raptors are also trying their best to catch up and get back the lead.

Toronto just took the lead under 2 minutes to play in the 4th quarter.

Yep that is not even debatable.  He might not go down as better than LBJ but his impact on the game is by far bigger than LBJs.  Before steph it wasn't cool to hit 3s, now everyone including the center can hit 3s.  He is the Dr. J of 3 pointers in terms of changing the game.

New reports today that the Los Angeles Lakers have started internal discussions about whether or not they should trade Russell Westbrook.  It seems like they're trying to get involved in the Ben Simmons sweepstakes.  With a deal needing to be done in the next 24 hours, it seems like this is a longshot.  Interesting some of the possible teams being named in a blockbuster trade though...  Portland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia...  With the Lakers possibly willing to add Westbook to a deal next to THT and LeBron on Twitter saying how THT is the future, there's definitely some smoke coming from their camp...  Now we wait and see if it turns to fire.
Honestly, I think the Lakers don't need Simmons, and it's worth noting that it will be problematic for them to trade Westbrook, given the size of his contract. By the way, there are also rumors that the Knicks are interested in Simmons. So I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks' management decided to trade Kemba for Ben.

It's gonna take waaaaaaay more then kemba for Ben.  Kemba would just be cap damage they don't need him on the team.  I mean from a knick fan perspective come come me some of that trade but it would take a good piece and maybe a draft pick.  Philly would be interested in knicks young guys being on rookie contracts with cheap control or draft picks...neither of which I would do if I was the Knicks gm.

Unfortunately, covid-19 started having its affects in NBA also. There is already a game that has been postponed: Chicago Bulls - Detroit Pistons. It must be because of this new variant that people have been talking about lately. I hope that it doesn't spread among so many players in NBA. Otherwise, we might come back to the old days which the games were being played without supporters.

It's starting to get cold out of course it's going to ramp up.  I'm with you though I hope they don't block spectators from coming.  For me half the fun is the whole surrounding of the game.  It seems more like preseason, or even a practice when there is no one in the gym but the players.  The bubble experience was terrible, I barely watched.
I don't think NBA will have another lock up like that. Not at a time when plenty of vaccines are already available. The management can talk to local authorities to allow vaccinated people to enter the venue. It won't be pleasant news to the unvaccinated but it's a better move than zero fans.
