I checked how much Klay has, and he is getting closer to 2k as well, he is a bit younger as well, so let's see if Klay will manage to break this record as well, not that he will pass above Curry, but he might have a chance to become second by the time he retires. Imagine two guys, who became first and second in "most three pointers in career" and they are both from the same team, that is very interesting to see.

That would be interesting for sure but everything will depend on how Klay Thompson will play when he comes back. His 3 point shooting form is definitely still there, however, I'm concerned with his speed as he is known as one of the fast-release 3 point shooters in the NBA with an accurate percentage.

We’ll find out next week how good Klay is going to be. Looks like he’ll be suiting up and on the floor before Christmas. That should make for some good matchups. I hope he can stay healthy and he isn’t rushing back. If he gets a dunk in though in his first game the crowd is going to go absolutely nuts. He claims he’s going to come back more athletic. We’ll see.

Stephen Curry is showing a performance which is really something very specialy. He has even broken a new three-pointer record against Knicks in his recent game. He is already among the best players ever in NBA history. I feel myself really lucky that I'm able to watch him live in many games. Because it is an important privilege to be able to watch great players like Curry like this.
How I like to watch him playing live but the best I can do is just to watch him on TV since I don't like in USA and it's hard for me to fly to that country just to watch him, it will cost a lot to me compared to the NBA subscription that I will only play less than $10 in our currency.

I wouldn't say no to watching him live at the court either.  Grin  But I'm living in a country that is very far away from the USA and it takes around 13-14 hours by plane for me to go there. And it would cost me a lot of money (flight + game) as the currency of my country is getting even more worthless day by day. But I'm trying not to miss his games most of the time.

The most amazing thing about Curry is that he is 33 years old, in an era where players go for as long as 40 years old until they retire, Curry could make this into even maybe 4k three pointers? That will not be simple as he ages but it will not be impossible neither. Dude needs to just make 1k more to make that and we are talking about minimum of 5 more seasons for him to play as well, unless he is in a freak injury situation which he is known to have so maybe that will happen but hopefully not. Dude is by far the most prolific shooter of NBA history and he could turn an under 3k record into over 4k record by the time he retires, that is insane to imagine.

I really don't understand the reason behind this situation. AFAIK Irving isn't the only player in the NBA that isn't vaccinated but he's being made a scapegoat ?

I don't understand how they keep saying being vaccinated isn't compulsory and individual can opt not to take the shots, but then this ?

Depending on where you live as they have their rules as well, in the case of Irving, he is in New York and here's the rules is not good for him.

NYC Mayor-Elect Says City Won't Change Vaccine Mandate, Closing Door on Unvaxxed Irving
He has to abide, otherwise he won't be able to play, but in the case of Irving, he is not in a rush as he even sacrifice his salary just to stand his words.

And that would not change as the Mayor will always serve the interest of the majority, not Irving. The best way for Irving to play again is if he gets traded in a team that does allow to play their players despite being unvacinnated.

They are still very effective for me as they shared the ball very well.

I agree. They still played quite well as a team. Curry was the most scorer of the team as usual but the contribution of the other players was also important. They wouldn't be winning otherwise.

By the way, there was another great game also last night and I think it was even more delightful. Brooklyn Nets hosted Toronto Raptors. And after a very tough competition, Nets were the victorious team with a 131-129 score. They won the game after overtime. Harden couldn't play again due to illness but KD was there to play superbly and save the team. His statistics were like this: 34 pts, 13 reb, 11 ast. It was one of the most valuable triple-doubles surely.

Surely because they won the game, I can say that KD is the definition of a real star like Kobe and MJ because he can carry his team to win alone, that is without his backup, and I love the Nets chances now especially if they will be complete in the playoffs.

Still no news on Irving?

What's the update of his vaccination? is he still gonna stand with his words?
I think Irving will stand on his words that he won't take a jab.

The Nets with KD has well adjusted already and even without Harden and Harris, they still manage to make a comeback and win in OT against Toronto.

And you are right, KD can carry the team on his shoulder, and as long as he is shooting at least 50%, they are going to win games.

Another one is Miami Heat vs Sixers. Joel Embiid and Seth Curry are questionable but it doesn't give an assurance that they will sit out. The odds for Miami Heat are attractive to me and the Sixers will have lesser firepower on both offense and defense without Embiid. Miami Heat is still on the roster handicapped and almost all the entire key players are out but they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls recently with that lineup which leads me to think that they can handle the Sixers, especially if Embiid won't play.

This is a really good one actually. But the missing players situation is lowering the excitement level of this game already. Especially Heat have so many missing players now. And it is a big handicap for 76ers not to have Seth Curry and Joel Embiid in this game. They are their best scorers in the end. Maybe we can still watch an enjoyable game which I really hope so.

There is a nice game tonight: Dallas Mavericks - LA Lakers. Lakers are going to be my favourite for this game obviously but I won't be surprised to see Mavericks winning this game also. Because this is a close game actually if we take their positions in their conference into account right now. For Lakers, A. Davis's condition is going to be clear right before the game. If he doesn't play, Lebron and Westbrook will have the most of the responsibility for this game.

I was supposed to put match that on my parlay list but finally decided to exclude it. The Moneyline odds given to both teams are just equal meaning even bookies are also treating that game as a close match. The Los Angeles Lakers, as we know, are inconsistent that's why as a biased fan of the Dallas Mavericks, it really attracts me to place a bet for them.

However, I can't refer to Laker's recent wins against a weaker team especially on the subject of they are still better even without Anthony Davis. To save me trouble, I will skip on that match instead. Lakers are inconsistent but when they aren't off-night, they are explosive even their bench players.

I really don't understand why Kyrie Irving is still not okay to be vaccinated against covid-19. Nearly the whole world is being vaccinated but he is still believing that something is wrong with the covid-19 vaccines. None of the players in NBA should act like this. It is for their own good in the end. Irving should already be knowing that he can have a serious illness if he gets covid-19 unless he is vaccinated. Because of his obstinate attitude, he can't play in any of Nets' games now.

Well that's Kevin Durant for you, the way he's so versatile in any role and he is really carrying and lifting any teams he's into to win the game. That's what makes him one of the best players in NBA.
The fact that the Brooklyn Nets now has already 7 players missing including James Harden and Bruce Brown because of the new covid outbreak. And no Irving at all, yet the Nets still managed to defeat the raptors with an OT. Durant managed to do 34 points, 11 asissts and 13 rebounds.

It was a really lucky moment for New York supporters that Curry broke the three-point record in Madison Square Garden. The tickets of the game were sold at a bigger price compared to a regular season game. And it was a really nice detail that NBA paused the game after the record and organized a ceremony. When it comes to the game, Golden State won the game by their performance in the last quarter. The only consolation for Knicks was that Randle got a high percentage of three pointers.

Knicks tried but GSW is really a team centered squad, they are more on good rotations and not just a Curry focus team,

though it's a low-scoring game for all the gunners of GSW but the good catch is they share the ball well, And with Curry's new accomplishment, it's really a good value for fans to pay that ticket knowing that a historic event will take place.

Congrats, Steph, put more to add up with your records.

I'm not sure or I missed something on the betting line that offers when or how will Stephen Curry breaks the record for most 3pt in the history.
Or is there any existing betting lines in crypto?
I'm just a bit curious who bets on those and If ever someone wins it I'd like to congratulate him lol.
I remember betting on LeBron surpassing Kobe's record on most points, but I remember I didn't win on which game they go against with lol.

Silver to get them to postpone those two games. There are about half of those players on the list set to return by December 22nd and 23rd, but several players will be coming back after that, so the bulls will be on hurt mode for a little bit of time. Crazy to have 10 players in protocol!
Yes, right? They are all vaccinated and yet this kind of things still happens. What more if they are not? I hope they are all right, we as fans don't want to see this going back to the bubble.
Pretty amazing seeing Steph Curry breaking the all time 3 point shot record last night.  I'm pissed at myself as I wanted to be in front of the TV live when it happened but I got home just a bit too late. Regardless I watched the highlights on YouTube.  I will never forgot when he was back at Davidson and being on vaca and seeing this skinny little kid who looked like he weighed maybe 100lbs on the cover of all the newspapers during the NCAA tournament run he went on.  I said to myself "this kid will never be anything in the NBA" lol...okay I can now admit I was wrong  Cheesy
Don't worry, it's not just you. Most of us, the basketball critics and more felt the same way when he first stepped in the NBA. He is damn small and thin and you could already imagine what will happen to him if bumped by a large guy when attacking the paint. He managed all of that and it all started when GSW was playing with just 4 players coached by Don Nelson. Yes, 4 players and the other where in the bench, injured, and some fouled out. (there's a rule here that made the fouled out player go back to the floor to continue the game)
That is when the time he performed at his best and now he just broke a record. Damn!

New York Knicks - Golden State Warriors was a really nice game and Warriors managed to beat their competitor by a 105-96 result. Stephen Curry didn't have a very effective performance comparing to the usual but they still got this win.
Yes, but what's important is they win, and Curry is the leading scorer of the team as the game is a low scoring game.

1st Curry, 22 points
2nd Poole 19
3rd Wiggins 18 points.

They are still very effective for me as they shared the ball very well.

You have got a point there. As long as there is a big teamplay, Warriors will still have a serious chance to win. And it is not very good to depend on only one man all the time normally. But Stephen Curry is a very valuable personality for the team. He broke the 3-point record in history last night. The record belonged to Ray Allen before. And I saw him also there congratulating Curry.

The good thing about the Warriors is they can win even in a low-scoring and high scoring game, that only tells that they are good in offense and defense which not all good teams in the NBA are capable of. I have to believe on this team, they'll certainly gonna give a good playoffs match on what team they'll face, and hopefully, they'll win another championship ring.
