Has he even started playing in the D League yet?
Is G league the same with D league? If so, then Thompson played per report.

Klay Thompson going full-speed in G-League practice, hits first 18 shots
He was also reported that he is joining the team practice already, so that is a sign that he is coming back soon but the organization does not give a specific date as they don't want us to expect so much.
I confess that this leaves me confused most of the time. I read some news a few days ago that Klay Thompson would be back soon and it seems that it is still in December.
Now I see this news giving a sense that there is no precise date for his return.

Anyway, that's rumors and speculation, but anyway I'm really excited to seeing Klay Thompson playing in the NBA again.

Yes, there's no official announcement yet as to when he will return, all we read are just speculation but it's positive speculation as it's back with the good basis that he is really now in good form. They don't have to rush things up, besides, GSW are doing fine and they will surely qualify for the playoffs.

Good to see Klay doing well know and I think in this month we can see him running on the floor again with GSW but I think they are not rushing things as you said since GSW is now doing a healthy run so maybe there's little bit delay towards his comeback since for sure the management will make sure that Klay will fully recover once he step in the floor again. This will be more different GSW once their rooster is complete so I guess this is exciting year for their organization and fans love to see that comeback.

Right, I'm expecting him to play December, nevertheless if it didn't happen then we are all good.

I guess it's really up to the performance of the current roster, and since they are really looking sharp except in their last game, then Klay's return can be pushed back early next year. Of course though, the sooner we see him the better for us basketball fans.
Hopefully, we can see Klay Thompson in a good shape and state after the injury he got back in 2019 season. The current plays of the GSW is quite good with Curry carrying the team to the semis but they usually get really tired in their recent games. We still loved to see the Splash brothers in the court playing again, as Klay's role is so important to the team. Hopefully, we can see him play again as early as the 1st quarter next year.
I also hope to see Klay Thompson in excellent condition, especially with his 3-point shot (with Curry).
But one thing I'm curious about Thompson is, what his NBA re-adaptation will be like. Will he still go back to the allstar player level? Will there be a chemistry with the current team!!?

I think these are the questions I'm most curious to know, or better yet, "to watch"!

I guess everyone is excited for Klay's return. Well, who else doesn't when the Warriors are playing in a high level performance. His addition might boost their performance even more better.
Everyone is also excited on the Playoffs to figure who's really the best team and who's going to make it to the finals this year as there were a lot of promising team and it's becoming more and more unpredictable.
Gone are those days where Miami, Cleveland or GSW has been dominating and obviously make the finals appearance.
I am guessing that there is about 10 days or so until Klay turns and he is not going to just suddenly thrown in there and have 30+ minutes, it is probably going to be 10 minutes per game for a while and gradually grow bigger and bigger, not even entirely sure if he will be 100% this year at all, even during playoffs.

But, obviously him coming back and having a little bit of help on defence or having some sort of shooting chance because everyone tries to double Curry now since GSW can't spread the floor as well as they can when they have Klay. This is why there is a stage where they will end up with getting a little worse first trying to get him back, then they will be better than even today.

It would be great if he was back for Christmas time but I have my doubts.  Has he even started playing in the D League yet?  I was under the impression they were going to make both him and Wiseman play a few games in the D League before returning to the NBA.  Maybe that is not correct, as recently Ibaka complained about having to go to the D League, saying it was insulting for a player of his caliber and would never be required for someone like Durant...  Anyway, I feel like we're seeing the old Warriors these days and when Klay and Wiseman get back in the lineup things could get scary.  I definitely underestimated their chances this year.

I have just realized that there is a really huge game tonight. It is a home game for LA Clippers against Phoenix Suns. Clippers are at the 5th position while Suns are the leader of the conference. And Suns were going for the win streak record one by one but they were stopped by GSW. But they still continued to win two games in a row after that game. They are really seeming like an unstoppable team and Clippers will have a tough night against them.
They faced each other in the WCF before, so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a good match.

As per this updated report, Booker is out while PG is doubtful, hopefully, PG will play so it would really become a great match.
https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/injury-update-devin-booker-out-paul-george-doubtful-for-clippers-vs-suns

Clippers is +3 now, if PG will be confirmed out, then I think it will change.

It looks like Kevin Durant proves that he can still carry a team to a victory even though he has a past injury but KD still shine. Determination and positive thinking make Kevin Durant unstoppable.
No Harden No Irving that's why KD have so much time to play and I think they got a good decision then Kd carry his team and also his teammates doing great so they win a scored of 116 to 100.
He can. There's no hype with the Brooklyn Nets now because of the Warriors and the Suns previous battle to end the streak, Curry breaking the 3 point record and Lakers performance level which is unpredictable. But soon, there will be again when Kevin Durant keep this up.
The Nets have a deep roster and that's what missing with other teams. Harden can rest and Irving can waste more time avoiding the vaccine but their role players can step up their game and join Durant on his quest to be steady as the number 1 seed in the East.

Kevin Durant is just a force to be reckon with. A player that is 7-foot tall, who has the ball handling-skills and shooting, is just unfair as he is considered unguardable in NBA standards. But I do agree that Nets also have a deep roster and bench within their reach though I do think that the Warriors have honed and taught their rookies/bench team better than the nets. The way the latter utilizes their roster makes it that they will be soon developing their confidence and team effort which makes them a championship team from the rest.

The Warriors area really a different team, they have a system that is a good example to be a championship team. Not only Curry is carrying the team, but their ball movement is also really amazing as anyone has the confidence to shoot the ball which makes them a better team. As we can see in the past games of the Warriors, sometimes we see Wiggins and Poole leads the team to win, not Curry all the time.

Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?

Yes, because we are not surprised anymore, he is a great player and he can drop that numbers anytime. Durant is now the leading candidate for MVP, I must say based on my observation, and as he continues to play impressive basketball, there's a huge chance that he'll win the award. Brooklyn are really a good 4th quarter team, 30-13, that's the dominance they have.
Him, Curry and Giannis and to a certain extent Joel Embid is putting MVP numbers.

I really thought that the Pistons will take this one from them, but damn, they played really good defense in the fourth with Durant exploded.

And that's what have been missing for them, that fourth quarter closed out. And now it seems they've found their rhythm.

Nets are a decent team, they are not perfect but they are winning games, and thanks to Durant who is the most consistent on the roster. Look at Durant, he is really tough and deserve to be a future hall of famer as he is carrying his team even one of the big 3 is missing.  Durant just feeling it, we don't need speculate a lot as he is just putting the numbers and consistency that would brought him the MVP award.
I guess being an MVP each season is the one he's targeting and not just the championship, and as expected he's one of the candidates this year's season. He also probably knows that he can't carry his team as always because that ain't enough to win the finals. For now, only him and Harden continues to play, hopefully Irving will be back on the game soon.

So, this is a very interesting point for us to debate!
There were several rumors some time ago about Thompson's return to the GSW, but I believe he is now ready, if he doesn't return by the end of the year, I have no doubts that possibly he will be back in early 2022.

Although the Warriors don't have an excellent squad (only Curry for me is a high level player), the GSW is playing very well, the team has chemistry and they are winning most of the games.... Unlike the Lakers, who unfortunately , having one of the best squad in the NBA today, he is still fighting for a playoff spot, with much lower performance than expected (I only did a GSW vs Lakers comparison)

If Klay Thompson returns like he was before and have chemistry with others players, I have no doubt the Warriors could be one of the favorites for this season's NBA title.

I was using the internet today and read a very interesting news!

Klay Thompson is already playing normally and training and playing a contact game.
There are great chances that he will return to play in the NBA games.

But I didn't get a precise date that this event will happen.

By the way, who else here is looking forward to Thompson's return to the Warriors?

I guess every NBA fans are waiting for him to return?

Him and Steph are the most potent and dangerous outside shooters we have seen in the last 5-7 years and we wanted to see him again after what 2 seasons that he has been out?

Maybe late this year or early next year we might see a glimpse of Klay Thompson on GSW jersey and not on the bench anymore and hopefully he can get back fully recovered and 100% healthy.
Yes, sure!! I also believe he will be back until the end of the year.

Let's see if Klay Thompson really will make a significant difference and if he still has chemistry and rapport with the other Warriors players!

I'm so excited about Thompson's return

There was a rumor that he would return by December, and if that will not happen, then I guess we will see him early next year, or if not, how about the playoffs where he is good at. Let's continue following the update regarding Klay Thompson, as long as he receives a good signal, he will be back in the lineup for sure.

I guess everyone is excited for Klay's return. Well, who else doesn't when the Warriors are playing in a high level performance. His addition might boost their performance even more better.

This is the chance for the GSW to come back and dominate again.

As per the ranking, they are still close to the number 1 spot, just a difference of 1 win only between the Suns, so they really have improved this season even without Klay Thompson, and hopefully we will not be disappointed with our expectation.

I am surprised.
That's a guy who recovered from an Achilles injury and yet his mind is way stronger than other players who didn't experience the same thing he did.
51 points in 41 minutes. 41 freaking minutes!!! He can play that long now. But before that, a lot of rumors were thrown about him being paid too much by the Nets. No Harden, No Irving, No problem, KD can carry it.

Detroit Pistons are on an incredibly bad streak now and I guess that they are even getting close to breaking a consecutive loss record. They lost to Brooklyn Nets last night too and this was their 12th loss in a row. I really am curious about what is happening to this team. They lost by 104-116 in their home court and KD's performance was incredibly good. He got 51 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists. Harden was resting but KD still carried the team superbly.
KD is really known to be a great player in almost all sorts of role in the court that's why it's only natural for him to score that high. No matter what team he'd team-up, he will still be making his best to score and to catch up some leads, that's what makes him a candidate for MVP for almost every year.

Pistons has been buried so much since this season started, having that kind of record and consecutive losses is really tiring to see even for their own players. Their next game will be against Chicago Bulls, another much tougher team than them. I guess it'll be their 13th loss in a row.
