I think these dirty style plays from LeBron are going to become more and more common as his aging lowers his play level to be below some of the young guys in the league. I don’t he’s going to have an easy time adjusting to him not being the most dominant player on the court. When I start seeing stuff like that, it makes me think he should start considering retirement before he cheapens his legacy.
I agree if these dirty games from him keep on going on. He should've settled and retired and that's better for his reputation. I hope that he goes better with his next games.
Because if not and this continues, there's something wrong with it. It's just surprising to see that someone like him goes on rage and it's very unusual watching him being like that.

Agree with you, that's a sign of frustration that he cannot be dominant anymore, plus his team now is struggling and I really thought they would lose against the Pistons but I'm surprised they bounce back really strong in the 4th quarter. They had struggled against a weak team, so they have no chance to beat a good team especially in the playoffs if they won't adjust and Lebron acted like he began to doubt himself.

Lebron got ejected against the Pistons. It seems that he throw an elbow to Isiah Stewart.

And I thought that we are going to see another Malice in the Palace, Isiah Stewart was really furious and mad and wanted to go after Lebron. He has blood in his face, good thing though is that there are a lot of officials and was able to control the Pistons bench.

Lakers down now, 82-67. Stewart though might be suspended because of his act.
Stewart's reaction is so normal and justified especially when you got hit by an elbow, I mean you gotta be furious at some point.
Though, Gilbert Arenas fired some hot warnings to Stewart saying "To start packing his bags because he’s probably about to get traded to a foreign country for going at the the Lakers star. Arenas also made a four-man shortlist of NBA superstars you’re not supposed to mess with. Aside from LeBron, there’s Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors’ duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. He also added that the only sanctioned fight that can occur in the NBA is between LeBron’s Lakers teammate Rajon Rondo and his longtime adversary Chris Paul."

After that short fight, LeBron James got ejected in the match. It was a big advantage for Pistons but AD, Carmelo, and Westbrooke managed it well even without the help of LeBron. It was an epic comeback in the 4th quarter.

Thankfully, the audience didn't join. We are talking about Detroit here and they have a history of joining in with fights like that.
I was waiting for that and listening to the announcer telling the fans to stay sat down. It's like he is expecting the possibilities of history repeating itself.  Grin

Lebron, oh Lebron. He just came back and this is what happens. But Stewart was strong, I bet NFL scouts are looking at the replay of that scene.  Grin That was damn far run with all the security stopping him. Above 10 yards. First down.

I could never have imagined the Warriors could win against Raptors, without Thompson.
I was very impressed with the performance of Wiggins and Pooler, they played very well, and had virtually no "help" from Curry.

What do you mean? Warriors has been on a tear this season without Curry? Raptors? Go back several games and you will see that they beat the Nets in their home court in a blow out win. So why would you be surprised of the Warriors beating a so-so Raptors?

Talking about Lakers vs Pistons game, will LeBron James be out for a few games because of this attitude in attacking Isaiah Stewart?

Well it looks like he throw a elbow after the free throw that cause Stewart to bleed. You can't blame Isaiah for that, Lebron bloodied his eyebrows and it looks like he was punch.

ps: I thought Melo's performance in the game against the Pistons was great, he came from the bench and managed to score 18 points, I hope he stays that way.

Melo has been scoring good for the Lakers, you should look at Dwight Howard's stat for this game as he also contributed to their big comeback win.

I just read the news that Klay Thompson has started full practices with the team and the Golden State Warriors will have him in uniform playing games before Christmas. This team is going to be scary if he comes back anywhere close to where he was when he got injured. The thought they still have another starter in Wiseman that’s due back soon and I’m starting to think the Warriors might have another shot at reigniting their dynasty.

That was a fact and they leading the NBA right now without him. I hope that they can synchronize the momentum with him as soon as he enters the court again.

Right now the GSW is winning against the Raptors with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter and they just won. they are now 15-2 without Klay Thompson and holding the best record in the current season.

^^ It's over now, what a comeback win by the Lakers even without Lebron James.

AD and Westbrook and Carmelo really help them comeback from a 17 point lead if I'm not mistaken.

However, the Lakers turn it around with a huge 37-17 advantage in the 4th quarter. And come up with a 5 point winning lead.

Lebron been out almost doubled the advantage for the Pistons to win the game and at some point they were @ 1.11 or thereabout to win the game, I never would imagined putting any money on the line for Lakers comeback in such situation. However, I think the game generally was an improvement of the Pistons and we might see them get some wins pretty soon.

I thought that Detroit are going to take this win, specially after the brawl. Emotions running high that time in the 3rd quarter and Detroit was on a rampage.

That was a crazy, We are all humans, so I really can't say Stewart in anyway overreacted, he got hit pretty bad and even though it's not allowed in an sport for the sake of sportsmanship, I think he's reaction we justified and if the case were reversed, Lebron might have reacted worse.

I expecting a while ago that the Lakers will have again a lot of criticisms if they lose on that game against the Pistons. Fortunately, they were able to make a rally and even won in that game. Thanks to the team's effort especially with the most haters in their roster, Russell Westbrook. The nice adjustment he made and I hope the consistency is there. Although, in the first place, they shouldn't have a problem dealing with the Detroit Pistons but it turned out they struggle.

And I thought that we are going to see another Malice in the Palace,

If someone from the audience threw a plastic cup of Diet Coke to Lebron, that will be a start. Westbrook will be the Stephen Jackson since he's the one from the Lakers that aggressively react to Stewart Cheesy . Anyways, far from happening.

Don’t discount Dwight Howard’s performance either. 13 points in 13 minutes on 5-6 shooting with 5 rebounds… I really can’t believe he isn’t getting more minutes. He’s even knocked down 2 three-pointers in the last 2 games. I feel like he’s literally playing like a hall of famer and nobody is noticing. It’s crazy. Get Vogel out of there.

Anyone else watching Westbrook, AD and Lakers get schooled by a Detroit Pistons led by Jerami Grant ??!

I mean going into the game I wasn't expecting the Lakers to have much troubles winning and covering the ~8.5 Spread, but Grant had other plans, and It seem Lakers would be the one needing more than a terrific 4th Quarter to win here, let a lone cover the spread.

EDIT: Wow! And there you have it, a crazy 4th from the Lakers only down by one with well more than 5 mins on the clock, this could have easily been a win for  Pistons but they really can only have themselves to blame for having this slip through their fingers.

The man that made his name known when he took over Steve Kerr as interim coach of GSW was fired on his third season at SAC https://www.nba.com/news/report-sacramento-kings-fire-coach-luke-walton-after-6-11-start His replacement will probably have the same fate hehe. You cannot really do much as a coach when your general manager sucks at picking the right players. I just found out that they had the chance to land Luka Doncic or Trae Young.
Walton's another coaching journey is over, this is not good for his career, and though he was not officially fired with the Lakers before but it still looks like he was fired since the Lakers aren't really doing well under him.

Lakers ‘Mutually’ Part Ways With Coach Luke Walton
This looks like you are asked to resign or you will get fired.

I never thought that Walton was a particularly good coach even in his Lakers days. he definitely did not maximize the potential of his players in any way, shape or form.

The Mavs vs. Clips game is now in Q3 and I think that Clippers look really good. I have them winning this so I do hope that they don't collapse like they did in Q4 like they did against New Orleans a few nights ago.

Let's keep it simple and say he was actually fired there. Yes it's really bad for his resume to be out with a losing record. He may be unlucky with the players he had at his disposal but he was still given time to improve the team. A better start this season would have saved his job.

Perhaps he should serve as an assistant coach again so he could at least stay active while honing his skills. He still have a lot of years ahead of him.

Luke Walton is still young and indeed still has a lot of time to improve. His experience in both playing and coaching in the NBA would still be an edge for him to continue his coaching career.
Another offer for him in the next 3-5 years might be his last shot at his career. I mean he needs to improve otherwise It will be the end of the whole coaching stuff that he make.

I believe there's still going to have an offer for him in the future after this recent firing.

They weren't the same team when Harden left, now, they realize how important Harden is and they have to make sure they'll find a way to make this team a playoff contender once again. John is still with the team, I think they are looking to trade him soon, but they have to make sure that it's someone that is healthy and could help the team to bring back its competitiveness.

Thanks for reminding me about Wall but if I remember it correctly, he's not willing to play for this team

finding a good trade maybe gives them some good chance to re-group, a good guide for those young rookies who are performing well,
but ain't enough to win a game.

The management needs to provide good players that will bring this franchise back as competitive playoff contender.

He has no hope for his team so he did not play, he would rather see the team tank while he is waiting to get traded, unfortunately, the interested teams might not be able to give him his demand so he is still inactive now. I think John Wall, Westbrook, and Irving, these are the candidates from a trade.

John wall is the 2nd highest paid player this season, so that's a lot of money to sacrifice if he agress to be bought out.

https://www.sportscasting.com/2nd-highest-paid-player-nba-no-plans-suiting-up-despite-perfectly-healthy/

Quote
John Wall is the second-highest-paid NBA player this season

John Wall's annual salary over the next four years, starting next season:

2019-20: $38.2 million
2020-21: $41.2 million
2021-22: $44.3 million
2022-23: $47.3 million

Look at that figures, if John Wall would be traded for a bunch of players, then I think it will help the Rockets. Look what happen to the Wizards, they traded Westbrook and they become the number 1 team now in the East.
