That's why I'm not participating in any GOAT discussion on every category because of personal preferences. Oldies will prefer those legendary players, and the current ones will prefer the current generation.

Mainly, stats is the reference but for me, it shouldn't end there.

Everybody has it's own opinion about "Greatest" debate. That's why the GOAT himself doesn't want to argue about it and he said that we can't compare era's because we really can't. Jordan might be the best in 90's. But in the 2000's it was Kobe and Lebron for some specially those who didn't catch Michael Jordan in his prime or at least in his champion runs with the Bulls. Yes, there are also intangibles that we can't measure statistically, like the mentally of those supposedly "Greatest".

I remember during my younger days, there were only few people who could and willing to shoot 3's, but today is different because everyone can shoot 3's already.

One thing that separates Curry from all of the 3pt shooter is that, he can actually pull a 3pt. shoot anytime and anywhere he want even with the defender in of him, even with a little breathing room he'll pull a 3 in front of you.

Respect for Allen, but maybe in his generation, Miller is the greatest shooter.

But we all know how Curry change the rule of NBA early 2010-2015 with his terrific 3 points from anywhere, 30 feet from the logo itself. So to each his own opinion, but once he surpasses his record then there's no question about it as to who will become the greatest shooter base on the history books. So it will be Curry, him and then Reggie Miller.

I understand how you feel but we have to understand that Thompson suffered a major injury, has been out for 2 seasons, so it will not be automatic that he will come back and play as if nothing happened. IMO, it will take time to build the confidence back although his form in 3 point shooting is still there, but please, let us not expect a lot so we will not be disappointed.

Steph showed once again that when he is healthy, he is as unstoppable as it gets on offense. Yes, with Klay Thompson coming back then there's a big potential of GSW to be a contender again in the West. Curry 30 PPG and then Thompson and then Poole plus Wiggins, probably we are going to see like 100 PPG between those players already.

GSW already has built very good chemistry in between the squad. We saw that recently in their game vs Lakers. Even if the Lakers had top-notch players, GSW won that. And Klay can join this already in-form team and he can get back to his best, GSW will be unstoppable this season. I Hope Klay returns fast and gets his form back.

This Ben Simmons saga is one of the craziest things I've ever seen in sports when it comes to holding out. In case you missed it, but the Philly 76ers owner recently came out and said that he will literally not trade him until he gets a player of equal or more value, so playing a crazy game of chicken and the owner sure doesn't seem to have as much to lose as a young player who could potentially sit out an entire 4 year (though I doubt this will happen one way or another).

The free agents that they've got this off-season are underrated but they can contribute well to the team. Porter, Bjelica, getting back Iggy. The huge improvement of Jordan Poole, the possible comeback of Klay and Wiseman. GSW is back Cheesy

. I'm a fan of them and I'm happy to see them to play like this again. I just hope that injuries will not hit them. Curry's first 2 games are just amazing. Getting a triple double against the Lakers and against the Clippers, he scored 45 points with 10 rebounds. He is on his way to break Ray Allen's record in three points made and he might get it this season if he will stay healthy.

Curry is in good shape and game meaning that he is motivated to enter on the NBA spotlight. Having no strong forward before really gives GSW a hard time last season to adjust given that they have an incomplete line-up. I'm doubtful that they can get on NBA finals with this roster even if Klay Thompson back again. There is a lot of strong team right now that can shut down this splash brother easily compared during there prime.

Lol give me someone who can "easily" stop steph Curry. That's not a single teams gamelan. They know steph will get his it's stopping everyone else because they know he will get his. Play him high and he will annihilate you off the dribble, go under screens and it's lights out anywhere under 40 ft. No one has ever "easily" stopped steph...I'm not even a fan but I can respect his game.
