I dont think that was a wise decision by bucks to let go tucker. He is one of my favorite players i love his gameplay and i am pretty dissapointed that this happened. Yes his defence is a bit weak but still he adds a good value in the team.

Well, that's how NBA works, If the management saw another good value to be added on the team, they'll let go of those who has lesser value regardless If you love his gameplay.
And I was wondering why did you say his defense is a bit weak when he's one your favourite player. I mean he is a tough defensive player, he guarded Durant, Booker, and other superstars. Only thing that differs when he guarded Durant is the height disadvantage.
Anyway, I'm thinking differently, Bucks did the right thing.

Has it been posted before already?

https://www.mavsmoneyball.com/2021/8/9/22617492/breaking-luka-doncic-signs-historic-5-year-207-million-extension-the-dallas-mavericks-free-agency

Quote
Luka Doncic has agreed to a five-year $207 million extension with the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Bill Duffy, Doncic’s agent. Days after returning to Slovenia following an inspired run in the Tokyo Olympics, Doncic is receiving the largest supermax rookie extension in NBA history.

This guy deserved this huge amount in his 5-year contract extension, damn, 207 million from rookie to a superstar, this young star player has already achieved the ultimate goal of his life in the NBA. For a triple-double guy who is consistent and could even play even with the injury, the management is just so happy to have him and rewarded him for his hard work.

It looks like Isaiah Thomas is still trying to return to the NBA because there are rumors that he is going to work out with the Warriors next week. He definitely deserves to get at least a minimum contract, but I have doubts that the Warriors will sign him.

Russell Westbrook looked miserable in the pictures from AD’s wedding. I hope the guy was just having an off day and this isn’t the first red flag for their chemistry together. I guess we’ll find out in another 2 weeks when the NBA’s preseason starts. Russ & LeBron are going to be fun to watch together. I don’t think LeBron has ever had a more talented teammate.
Not only a teammate, but teammates because he has AD and Westbrook, and compared to the time before where he won a championship in Heat and Cavaliers, I think AD and Westbrook are better compared to Wade-Bosh and Irving-Love, but chemistry is still very important.

PJ Tucker was known for his immense defense, of course he failed to stop Durant that part is known but dude is Durant, how many players can even stop him? I think not many, probably zero. So, letting him go and then getting a player that is not good on defense but a good shooter wasn't really a great need for them, not a horrible one neither.

PJ Tucker had a shot as well but not as good as Grayson Allen, so the question is, is the difference between their defense smaller than their defense on offense? Bucks had a good championship run but that was mostly thanks to many injuries in many teams, if Lakers and Nets are healthy this year, I do not see them losing the chance to meet in the finals at all.

Why not try Embiid-Curry Grin  and that possible trade for Simmons to work with Harris and Green, Sixers still have lots of good players and with the addition of Drummond which will help them more inside, this twin tower can play alongside instead of Drummond being a backup the way Howard did last season.
That's funny because that's also impossible. Tongue Golden State Warriors face is Curry and he is locked for them unless Curry won't be happy with the management anymore. I doubt that, his salary is the big proof of it.

Yes, Curry has been the player for Golden State for several years. I also thought the same for Lebron being the face of the Cavaliers but I was wrong. But in the case of Curry, I think that he won't easily leave GS until he has a clash with the management or the coaches. So, that won't work now as Curry seems pretty happy with the GS right now. But it only takes minutes to change everything. But I will really hope Curry finishes his career in GS.

Sorry for my mistake not placing the name, I'm not referring to Steph.

I was on the point that why not developed good duo between Embiid and Seth if we noticed Seth performances last season.

He's better than Simmons and he already developed lots fire power outside. A simple dropout pass from Embiid inside will give them a high percentages shots.

I agree that Steph will be like Kobe. He will stay for GSW as their franchise player and, for sure, the management will continue to provide what he needs and demand to keep him stay.

Anyway, I'd really love to see a healthy Nets and Bucks going up against each other again in the ECF.  Nothing is more interesting than that in the coming playoffs.
Me too.
I'm hoping that Nets would really be the Nets that we've been expecting last season to be at the top. I guess it's now time for them to step up again despite the shortfall that they've got last season.
With Bucks, it's interesting that there's some changes with their roster.
Nets will be the Nets that we like if the big 3 are healthy, injury was only their problem last season there are only a few games where all 3 played together. Despite Harden was injured during the playoffs, the Nets are still winning, thanks to Irving's big contribution as well, but when Irving got injured, that's where they were exposed.

Nets will only be able to play well if KD, Harden, Irving, and Blake Griffin step up their game and if they can stay fit for the rest of the season. KD and Harden were injured almost the whole last season and that badly affected their game. So far both of them look to be in great shape in this season. Let's see if they can hold onto their fitness. I feel like Griffin will also play a crucial role for Nets this season.

Hello Mavericks Fans. What do you think about this news?
Mavericks sign free agent guard Frank Ntilikina
Mavs had been signing guards and Tim Hardaway's contract is also renewed for 4 years $72M. Now, here comes another guard from Knicks and France National Team. I am sort of confused because they are trying to build a team for Doncic. Why sign so much guards?
1. Luka Doncic
2. Jalen Brunson
3. Tim Hardaway Jr.
4. Sterling Brown 2 or 3
5. Reggie Bullock
6. Josh Green
7. Frank Ntilikina
8. Trey Burke
9. Tyrell Terry

I bet Luka and Tim will just consume all the minutes and these guys will have less playing time.

There are almost close to the top, Durant was the only one healthy, but he carry the team, he just fell short. Harden too was injured in the playoffs and Kyrie. So just imagine their big 3 (regardless of the drama), become healthy last season, they could have won against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Only few changes on Bucks roster, their core remains intact and they get a replacement for PJ Tucker. So Bucks is still good for the upcoming seasons.

The drama for Simmons still up and new rumors that Sixers are more interested in Rubio instead of love. If the deal from Cavaliers will proceed, Sixers is eyeing for Rubio. Maybe they are looking for PG replacement since Simmons mostly played that position for them.
That's correct and also the main reason why it's getting too long before they can find a replacement for Ben. They cannot go for Love as they are filled with big men already so what they need is more speed. Rumors are also spreading about them trying to deal with the Atlanta Hawks with a 3 players trade.

While Nets and Lakers are in the spotlight for predictions as a champion this year, let's also look at the 2020-2021 champions Milwaukee Bucks.
Adding Grayson Allen to their roster is a step up for their strength in outside shots.
Details about the trade: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1423719062677372937?s=20
I was worried when they let Tucker go but the move for Allen was a good choice.
Better offensively and almost equal defensively. He just needs more improvement moving his feet.

PJ Tucker is way too undersized as he usually play the power forward and even the center position when he's in the Rockets. Without his ability for hustle plays and tight defense, there might be lesser team that gets interested in him.
So, I guess adding Grayson Allen in for PJ Tucker is a sure win deal for the Bucks. I mean Grayson is much younger, almost the same height as Tucker, can create his own shot, and can move faster and score.

Anyway, I'd really love to see a healthy Nets and Bucks going up against each other again in the ECF.  Nothing is more interesting than that in the coming playoffs.

Interesting to see that Bucks let go of Tucker, but in return replacing him with Grayson Allen, so yes, it's a win win situation for Milwaukee.

It was an interesting playoffs last year, Durant vs Tucker and the Nets almost win that series against the Bucks. If not for that three of Durant, who step in the line, thus counted as just two points, there will be no overtime. But the rest is history now, and hopefully they can maintain their competition next season.

No one would deny how skillful Irving is, but the problem is probably his attitude towards his teammates that's why the team will not succeed. I read some article in the past that Irving left the Cavaliers as he doesn't want to be the shadow of Lebron, so now, probably he also wants to be the leader of the team which is obviously is not because Durant is better than him.

No doubts in terms of skills he's one of the best from his position.

The problem now with the Nets, they both have Harden and Durant, which, in terms of offensive capabilities, if not similar, both can do more than Irving.

He can't win alone, he already tried it after leaving the Cavs, if he can really carry a team Celtics is also a good contender back then but either his attitude or something behind that did not work between him and the franchise that's why they didn't win the title.

Let's wait if what will happen to both him and Simmons as the season opener is nearing.

People keep knocking on Simmons but the dude is a baller.  Yeah he had a bad series.  So did Julie Randle for the Knicks.  Like historic choke, it happens.  Kid is young and is one the better young ayers in the league.  There aren't many at his spot that are better than him at his age.  He will learn.
Julie Randle. LOL  Grin
I think that should be enough for the Ben Simmons rumors. Let's just wait where this kid will fall if the 76ers management is cornered and cannot find a good deal.

People just wanted to laugh at him for his performance in this past series whenever he choked or lose his team in the NBA playoffs. however, if he is positive enough to make all of this ruckus as fuel to accelerate his skills into the next level, he will shut them off at once as Giannis did in the Finals where everyone in the past doubted him to get a single ring without being traded to a superteam.
