Glad to see Patrick Beverly traded from the Clippers. His dangerous play to break Booker’s nose in the playoffs has become all too much what you expect from him. He shouldn’t even be in the NBA in my opinion, but I’m glad he’s going to a non-contender to be a backup as opposed to his role on the Clippers.

It surprises me that they trade two veterans for Eric Bledsoe, I guess they value Eric more than Rondo and Bev. Grizzlies already has Ja Morant so I don't know how both Rajon and Pat can fit in their rotation. Although Bledsoe was just a returning Clipper, maybe he can fill the point guard position that will be left by the two veteran. Yeah.  Anyhow, let's hear more trade, I'm sure everyone is waiting for the Ben Simmons drama.

Memphis is loaded with guards so provably they will just trade those guys in exchange with more good talents, But actually they can use Rondo as their back up point guard if they can utilize his talent for sure they can give them a good plays, but we don't know what's the real plan by Memphis so let see how those two guys journey on their new team.

Also many are now curious to know about which team can successfully acquired and its interesting to know if he will go on strong teams or on average team only.

I remember Hibbert taking a hard elbow from LeBron James in one of those heated games between Indiana and Miami. He was never the same after that and I credit that single play with the destruction of that great Pacers team. Them along with the Toronto Raptors were a couple of teams that were tormented by King James for years.

That Indiana team could've been in the finals for at least a couple times If there was no Miami Heat big 3. But then It was the Boston Celtics that triggered LeBron to chase for a ring with 2 superstars.
I can always remember the Miami Heat were unstoppable in the East that almost every playoffs the Heat could literally have a cake walk to the finals. Pacers were able to match with the Heat in the ECF but still it was never enough.

That's how I see it too. All players that included from that trade are all veterans seems that Rondo didn't get his chance to fill the PG position with Clippers,

unlike with those teams that he played with. Not enough or he's not fit for the system the coach have for the team that's why he's been traded after being

acquired out from Atlanta,

Not sure how Grizzle's will give him enough time since Morant still on his prime and he can play longer the way he's playing right now.

He has the talent to play in the NBA without a doubt. He just has some mental issues that can really cost his team at times. Basketball really is a sport you need to be aware of what’s going on at all times and similar to JR Smith (who is going back to college to play golf) Lance has at times shown to not fully have that awareness.
wow, wait a minute, can Stephenson come back to the NBA or did I get it wrong???
In my opinion he is a good player, I remember, Stephenson, Turner, PG, Young, that Indiana team was a good team and competitive!!

They also have Hibbert and West back then. I remember that team.

They go to the playoffs but Miami's big 3 still hot during that time, if Indiana kept all those stars after that season
For sure, they still got that competitive squad after that loss from The Heat! They are all young and full of talented individuals that,
just need to jive and work together for the same goal of winning a title.

Lol, King James took out the soul of that young and aggressive Pacers. It's too bad that they have to face a prime Lebron James that time with the Miami Heat. A lot of expectations from that team back them, but they can't get over the hump of Lebron being in the East.

Same with the Raptors, that's why DeRozan was traded for Kawhi because James and the Cavs has always their numbers. But it good that Toronto has won with that trade as they bring the NBA champions that year with Kawhi. But the memory of James will linger with the Toronto fans.

Yeah, This dude need a break on NBA, He is very arrogant while was just carrying by Kawhi and PG to get on the playoffs. He was a choker when many was expecting for him to cover the role of Kawhi after the injury. It's a very season for Kawhi because of his team mate with foul attitude like Rondo and Beverly. The management do a good decision to trade this cancer player for Bledsoe or else they will never gonna have a chance for Championship.

He can always come back if there's a team that will show interest in signing him.

As far as the current progress about that is a concern (or maybe just a rumor), there are teams that are expected to participate in Stephenson's private workout and to name a few teams, they are Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia Sixers, and Brooklyn Nets.

We will have to wait for the progress of this.
This is very interesting, I would like to see Stephenson in NBA again!
He's a good player (not an AllStar), but he can make a difference in the team when he plays!

I believe Stephenson could be a useful player in the Nuggets because, he could be an important player to replace Murray (because Murray is injuried). While in the Bucks, he can make a great duo with Holiday.

I was just talking about the Clipper's roster the other day but it seems like I spoke too early as there were reports that Rondo, Beverly, and Oturu traded for Bledsoe. I think that's a bit too much for another veteran guard. That's also one less hustler on the Clippers so I wonder who is going to fill the gap.

I’m heating a lot of Ben Simmons to the Kings talk… Looks like Fox may be on his way to the 76ers. Some of my friends back in Sacramento are already celebrating but I haven’t heard that the trade has been finalized yet. It seemed like Fox wanted out, so this was probably the best they could get for him, but man is he a great prospect to have to watch slip through your fingers. Another DeMarcus Cousins situation.
Wait?! What?! They are celebrating for that trade? For real? Fox is one of the progressing offensive player in the league and it would be unwise to let him go. I'd pair him with Ben Simmons but not trade in exchange for him. This could be the worse mistake the SAC management will do if they let him go. Chances of not getting him back will be 100% and they will regret it because that's a future star caliber that just needs to be polished.

Do not forget Lauri Markanen neither
I didn't forget about him but he is not part of my veteran list just yet. He is just 24 so he goes to the regular unsigned list. Many teams will be interested to acquire him unlike the veterans.

This season, I really want to see a final series between Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.
Everyone wants to see them in the NBA Finals, Lebron is bound for NBA Finals again this season that's why they are making their team stronger with the addition of  Russell Westbrook. My biggest concern is only the Chemistry, no question about their talent, but if they don't play as a team, they are not going our expectations from them.

I agree. It will be very important for Lakers to be able to play as a team. Westbrook is a team leader normally. He likes to play with ball very much. Let's see what playing alongside Lebron will bring to him. Lebron will still be the team leader of course. If he communicates with Westbrook well, they can destroy their opponents one by one.

Honestly I think more people DONT want to see the Lakers in the finals.  These super teams are getting dumb and boring.  I say it all the time bit the NBA peaked in the late 80s and 90s when there were true rivalries and the best want to BEAT the best not play with them.  It made for better games.  Playoffs are more and more anti climatic and boring/passive as each year goes on.  Kudos to ginnis for wanting to keep it that way.  Knick fan but I will always root for those type of players.

I think the organization should start evaluating the rules and not allow a team to create a super team, this is not fair for other teams as they will lose fans since all eyes are on the super team. We can't deny that most fans just love to see the best players in the NBA be on the floor, and in this matter, we have the Lakers and Nets who have most of the NBA players, so most fans would love to see them play.

Westbrook, James, and Davis are all MVPs, though Davis only won as MVP in the all-star game.

Irving, Durant, and James, they can compete with the big 3 of the Lakers.

Any team would want Simmons, but with the Kings, I am not sure they will be in the playoffs again. Well, this would probably make Simmons not too pressure as he will be playing a nonplayoff team, so for the Kings to be in the playoffs, I think that's already a big improvement, and it will help Simmons boost his stats if he contributes as expected.
