I don't want to assume it will be easy.
76ers, Celtics, and Bucks have the same goal as them.
Other teams on the lower seeds would also love to see an upset in playoffs. That will be disastrous right?
Just imagine how it feels having a boasting power of defeating the Nets filled with superstars in the first round of the playoffs.  Roll Eyes
If you ever feel it's possible then I guess betting on whoever team will face the Nets in the first round is a good idea. If it's the Raptors or the Heat that they will face, I think I will take my chances, these two teams are legit teams and I'm sure the odds would be very attractive as everyone is going to ride with the Nets boat.
I would like to watch the Nets versus the Heat in the first round of the playoffs. Sure it would be an easy win for Brooklyn, but I hope that the Heat could surprise us again, considering that they had a great performance in the previous playoffs.

I know I'm too fast, but can't help it, Nets line up is like a dream team where every player in the starting line up are super stars, how can any team respond to their greatness, If I'm wrong I would accept it though but I have a feeling they will have an easy journey to championship this season.

The thing that shocked me was that he is only 31. Same as Klay Thompson and younger then Curry.  20 years ago a 31 year old player could be an old veteran and ready for retire. Today players that are not hit by injuries are in the middle of their prime at that age.

But I agree. He is chasing a ring and there is nothing wrong if he can do that. Even a super good player like Nash could not get a ring. You need to be good and have luck to get one.

He's still young but there are lots of injuries that he already suffered.

Moving to Nets and working again with Jordan, this power duo way back from clippers. Looking forward to see them fly again, with how Harden and Kyrie move the ball adjusting back to how you are playing before might be seen from Blake though he's no longer young and
those monstrous dunks is just a memory from the past. Good move in chasing his quest in winning a ring.
If I am not mistaken dude had some problems with his knees and that is why he doesn't play like he used to.

It is even remarkable to think that this was the same guy that came into the league as a high flying dunker who played great on offense and had great rebounding abilities as well (not like he needed much since he played with deandre jordan most of his career) but the reality is that we are talking about a guy who was only seen as athletic and nothing else, he got injuries and turned his playing style into more shooting and passing now, if he didn't turn his style into something else he would have been long gone, he needed to replace that with something else and now he is a very decent shooter as well, Nets have many shooters so they can replace one and put Blake in there instead and he would be great, plus he reunites with Deandre as well which makes me happy.

This nets team will be showing the retirement of some older stars like Lebron who will realize they can’t beat a team like this one anytime soon.

Lebron will not retire, he can still play and if his team can't make it to the finals or can't beat the Nets, he can still continue to achieve on individual success as he is breaking record in points, and assists of all time. Nets looks good on paper but until proven, I would not expect a lot though.

They've at least proven, at least at this point, second in Eastern Conference with just .5 games separating them from the top seed which is 76ers. But the big test to hurdle is the playoffs, but with Durant and Irving with playoff and championship experience, I think they can go as far as the finals and then we will see if they are going to choke or with Durant as the leader, will show poise in close out games.

So let's see we have like 20 more games for the regular season and then playoff time.

Very serious, I think they are gambling on this year. I mean they got everything and hopefully that the big 3 will be healthy at least for this season, (although Durant is still resting). And to cap it off getting Griffin for insurance policy (yes he is also prone to injury but he can still contribute night in, night out.

Because they know that the big 3 is also ageing, prone to injury, so they might as well shoot everything this season and then see how it goes after that.
Letting KD rest for the big fight ahead.  Grin
I am not really a fan of Griffin but this could be his big break. Might as well give everything he got while the chances are high to get a ring.
Harden can facilitate and I think Griffin will shine again if Harden will keep on feeding him even just for outside shots.

Let's see how it will affect their chemistry which I think was getting better before they acquired Blake. I wish it wont be in a bad direction.
I honestly think that griffin wants to have a ring before he retires, we thought that clippers years will bring a ring for them, but fail miserably, and I think he purposely underperform to leave the previous team because he knows that top teams are looking for a backup center, he has saved a lot of money over the years and the only thing that is missing is a ring, that's my opinion, and its a force under the basket.
Obviously, this is his goal why he transferred to Net, to get a ring before he retires, doesn't matter at his point in his career whether he will be the point man or just coming from the bench. I'm not really sure if he did it on purpose, because it will be unfair to Detroit Pistons as he was given everything he wanted. Maybe we can see Lob City again with Harden as the passer, vintage Griffin again.

Huge line up for the Nets, and they also have Griffin in the team, they are more than a super team and I have no doubt they'll easily win a championship this season. The defending champ will bow down to this line up, once this changes happens, I'm sure the odds will change, Nets will be the top favorite to win a championship.
Don't be too fast mate, they're not still sure as there are good other teams that are also doing good even without getting an upgrade for their team. But all of us are uniting that this team is possible to get to the finals soon.

I hope that there won't be any severe injury for their key players coming.

This what we will need to wait and see, if chemistry  among them will sparks up.

Then expect this new form super team to shine high, Blake may not be in the same old school powerful PF but with the teammates behind him who can create space for him, it's much easier  to adjust and play if everyone is working hand in hand. Nash needs to blend his players as there are new rotations for everyone after Griffin's arrival.

I wish to see Blake Griffin as he used to when he was in the Los Angeles Clippers and with his teammate, they bring the Brooklyn Nets to the NBA finals. I wonder if they can really do that with the 76ers and the other teams in the eastern conference are doing their job to be the best team in the east and also wanted to get to the NBA finals. nevertheless, Kevin Durant should now spend all his time resting and get ready to compete in the rest of these games and should not rush anything if he doesn't fully recover yet. He is most needed in the NBA playoffs where every team is playing at their very best.

EDIT: Now they’re saying Drummond is going to sign with the Nets!?!?! Insane. The Lakers have no chance against them without more help at the center position.

Seriously? I've browsed some news and seen nothing about that rumor of Drummond signing with the Nets.

And I think signing Drummond with the Nets is not possible. The Cavaliers are trying to get a valuable player, a young player, or a future pick, in exchange for Drummond. IIRC there is no available future picks left for Brooklyn Nets since they acquired their Big 3 (correct me if I'm wrong here).

But in case that's true, the Nets will be more pressured to win the chip. It's embarrassing if they failed to win the championship despite having that lineup.
Yes you can see it here https://clutchpoints.com/allen-robinson-claims-andre-drummond-will-sign-nets/ . Dont know on whats the reason of such change yet ive heard off that he's signing with the Lakers.

I read an article the other day by someone saying the Nets have sacrificed their future for this team so that kind of talk is definitely out there. I’d link to the article if I could find it quickly. I agree with everyone else though. If you get a chance to build a super team and win a title, you take that chance.

True. It's not decided yet until they put their skills to test at playoffs.
That's the most difficult part of this league.
Everything will be showcased and defense will be harder.
Harden had his bad habit of choking during this time but looking at their roster, I think he will have more courage now with KD and Uncle Drew backing him up.
They still have to go thru the 76ers or Bucks then, the strong West to complete it all.

I agree,Lebron James wont retire for sometime,i think he has still a lot to go and has the eye for some records to break, plus in a really good team currently. Dont know what they can do against Brooklyn nets this year, they just got all top players after several bad years of being the worst team in the league
Im actually surprised on how things been set-up from roster changes that did really give out some powerhouse teams even more where some of starplayers did really collide on a one team.

About Lebron's retirement then I don't see anything for it to happen on next year or season if he would lost up championship with Lakers for this year.Lots of presumptions but
those aren't proven yet but basing off on those Net's line up then its hard to deny that this team would be on fire.

Lebron would just simply skip off into other team.Right?

YEAH NETS got a good amount of amount of star power , all of them have star appearances ,5 Hall of famers in their starting has never been seen before. It’s astonishing how the nets actually have come out Better than Celtics after that Kevin Garnett trade. only competition would be the Durant Warriors. MJ wishes he was this good a gm, and Lebran wishes he was this good at building superteams
