The Lakers seem to be missing some big man energy they were getting from JaVale McGee & Dwight Howard last year. I think it was a mistake to let them both get away. Particularly Dwight Howard given how cheap he was willing to sign for.
It was indeed a mistake on letting those big man to get away with those two you can really see the contribution or the control below the rim or in paint.
What a bad decision that had been made.
Just relax, Lakers may not won every game but they are not struggling, they are still a great team, Gasol, Davis, and Harrell will soon be more consistent. I think their biggest mistake was letting Rondo, the 2nd unit is a better roster with him.

Who saw Westbrook's historical start?
Although they've lost to the Bulls and taking their first win in the season. Whilst Wizards still has no win.  Undecided
His triple double doesn't really help at all, his style is still the same with the OKC Thunder, I don't know what would happen to the Wizards this season but I hope they'll adjust and make westbrook's talent to work for the team so the team will improve.

After getting an embarrassing result against Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers got a nice win against Minnesota Timberwolves (124-101). On Clippers side, Williams scored 20 points and P. George got 18 points. On Timberwolves side, Russell got 22 points, Beasley got 19 points and Rubio got 17 points.

Crazy to think that the entire squad of Bucks just made 3 points shots last night expect Giannis who did not made even one. If someone had the intuition to pick something like this it must be very pleased with him right now because the odds were out of space for this kind of options ...like catching 4+ for players for 3 shot points is very rare.

Tonight another series of NBA games and I think it's the last one until 1 January.

Anyone watching the Suns vs. Pelicans and Clipper vs. Timberwolves? 83-51 and 94-68 respectively as I'm typing this. That's some serious hammering and it's just the third quarter. It looks like the Suns and Clippers bench [and maybe their opponents too] will have the 4th quarter for themselves. Good exposure at least hehe.
Watched it live too.
Yeah, that happened.
I almost won my betbuilder but I am lacking points made by Ingram.
That is because it had been an early garbage time. (or whatever they call it now)
The first two games of him were 28 points and now he just made 13. Bad night for the young players.
Even JJ Redick is having a difficult time finding his sweet spot. I guess the Suns just defended him well.

Agree.  Wink No more bullies below the rim.
I disagree, they have a lot better duo under the rim now. Javale was never really a great amazing player, he was a decent one but he was picked by Warriors because that is all they could have afford, and after few rings he became just a known and well.. expected player, you know what you expect from him.

Dwight on the other hand was a decent addition but he was a bench player at best, most of the time AD played in that position whenever they could do that. This year however they have Marc Gasol and Harrel under the rim, Harrel already had a very nice game with a good efficiency the other day, and I believe if it is about banging bodies down low for power, Marc Gasol is one of the biggest player in the league. I am not saying they are ten times better this way, I am just saying I do not see too much difference, hell I could even say they might be a bit better right now.

Denver Nuggets played a home game against Houston Rockets last night. I think that the match was quite enjoyable. Nuggets beat Rockets 124-111. On Nuggets side, Jokic was really awesome. He made a triple-double (19 points, 12 rebounds, 18 assists). On Rockets side, Harden was really good. He got 34 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

He was amazing yesterday and not only he made triple-double but he made some records which only Wilt Chamberlain does the number of assists he made last night was so amazing for a Center like him.

So I'm looking at Pistons vs Golden State Warriors today. Boring match I guess to most people but I betted there so I'm interested in it.

I had some bad luck at first I predicted under 52.5 points in Q1 and I was rekt by a single point. Then my Q2 1x2 bet of Pistons was rekt to by Stephen Curry's two late freethrows Cheesy

But fortunately I think all of my under 219.5-226.5 points bets will hit now that they played a disastrous second quarter, so I will be mostly alright. There's no way they can make up for this in the remainder of the game.

EDIT: The 3rd quarter had to be one of the lamest quarters I've seen.

I feel bad for Ja Morant, he started season really good. Dropped 44 against Spurs and became the youngest player to reach that point. I hope he can recover fast and come back as soon as possible. X-Rays tell no fracture but we'll see his condition from MRI results tomorrow.

Memphis still got the win against Nets. They don't look strong without both Durant and Irving.
Wow what a bad luck hope this gonna be the last he'll get this because sometimes a couple of injuries that do happen to a player the more the career got to submerged. Well, I'm expecting Morant will be a lot different, the kid has a bright future in this path considering how he average in PPG.

Lots of games will be miss by him, but let's hope he is okay so he can still come back strong.
Memphis are doing good with him, in this games without him, I think the team will struggle, so let's hope for his speedy recovery.
That's a lot of games to be honest and even on that duration we may assume he can't be a 100% fine to play on the court. He's the floor leader from Memphis they will surely struggle if Morant was still on that state, I do wish for a faster recovery of him.

This is really part of the risk, let's just hope he is okay though, I was looking at his report now and it's the latest update from https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/51038/ja-morant.

Quote
Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain and he's expected to miss the next 3-5 weeks of action.

Lots of games will be miss by him, but let's hope he is okay so he can still come back strong.

I was really shocked when I saw the first half score of LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks game (27-77). I really can't believe how the hell the first half ended like that. The result of the match had not too much difference too. Dallas won 124-73. I am curious about whether this game was rigged or not.  Grin

Last year Mavs lost a game when they were wining for 30 points. So when with 50 points difference at halftime Mavs fans were scared. But team plays different game this year. Less depend on offence and 3 point shoot and make much less turnovers. And more depend on defence. So losing games when they win for 30 points will be much harder as last year.

I'm sure they weren't scared that they would lose this game.  It would take 2 record half by both teams for them to lose.  The chances of losing that game after halftime was probably nil.
Really hard for them to be beaten up on that situation yet you can see the consistency of their plays which do keep the gap maintained and didnt able to catch up.
Its a bit understandable knowing that one of their core players didnt able to play due to injury but this game was totally overwhelmed.
We are just starting though and there would be still lots of adjustments to be done.

Yeah its one game.  Wouldnt be surprised if Dallas loses next game.  Thats typical in the NBA, every night is different.

PG has always been the type of guy who would defend the situation no matter how much people mock or laugh at him. When he got that famous shot by Dame shot over him, he said that was a bad shot and he would give him that each time, like literally said Dame took a bad shot at the buzzer beater when in reality OKC lost and PG couldn't guard him. When Clippers played a lot worse and lost to Denver last year on playoffs, he talked about there was no problems and it was just luck that made them lose and they will win it this year.

Now they lose with 50+ points and have that much point difference at the half and PG says it is not a big deal. Dude is basically programmed to keep saying he will always say something to defend all the bad things his teams done and would never accept blame and say "this was bad, it is on me, I will try to fix it and make sure it never happens again", like a mature person.

I am still amazed at that game that was played last. That turned out to be a record by winning more than 50 points in the NBA. and it wasn't that they were amateurs against pros.
