Mavs really need a win tonight against Clippers or they will lose even more confidence and moral as a team.
It became an overkill.  Cheesy

That indeed is more than an overkill lol.
I'm become really confused about the Clippers.
Are this team built to just defeat the Lakers? Lol
The Mavs vs Clippers today sets a new record in the NBA. A 50 point deficit in the halftime. Rare to see such lead. It's like a rookie mode in NBA 2k.
I don't know If I can still trust this team's odds or nah.

You are wrong,  Charlotte won by 2 points and they gave the Nets their first loss in the season. I'm so happy for Gordon Hayward, he led the team to win and I think now the haters will realize that they are wrong, and I'll be honest, I'm also guilty.
What?!
Damn, I need to watch that game in the full replay.
I did have a bet for Gordon Hayward but I lose it. 3 (3-points made) was my bet and he was 2/3.
But I did bet for Brooklyn to win it. Hahaha, I messed up all my bets.

It's very surprising because Charlotte is not a playoff team and Nets are killin in the last 2 games. Damn, lucky are those bettors who bet on the Charlotte moneyline, I don't know what the odds but I'm sure it's a decent one, enough to enjoy the evening with beer and friends. lol

This just changed my perspective and I think the odds will also be messed up when it's Charlotte playing against other teams.
I'll keep an eye on their next match, and Gordon Hayward as well.

This year KD will pass Giannis and take MVP award again.

Mark my words.
KD is one of the best player in NBA and Im really sure that it is possible that he can get again the MVP awards for this year .
We saw the on how KD playing basketball and many teams wants to him to be a team mate. I also like Stephen curry because I like his strategy and one of adore him because he is 3 points shooter and he is qualified to become MVP too.

Being MVP in the league doesn't mean anything to me anymore since I already know it won't be about stats but how the voters which are just sports "analyst" and journalist trying to put on a vote which obviously has biases. For me you are right Kevin Durant has an edge in MVP voting but its not about who has the better stats but who has a bigger market team which Durant playing in Brooklyn definitely given him an advantage.

Brooklyn Nets are surely going to continue their great run against Charlotte Hornets who are missing Monk, Riller and Zeller today.
Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are looking unstoppable for Nets and it's going to be fun watching them again.

Charlotte is now +11, it could be another good win with 20 points or more win by the Nets. Maybe they can give Durant a little rest here by giving him limited minutes since Charlotte right now is not a serious team that could beat them especially with the players unable to play.

Yes, sorry, lol.. I was expecting that it's another easy win by the Nets, but the underdog won the game, so congratulations to them, but I know nets will bounce back and they'll never get tired of winning this season, probably they just have a bad night but they will have some consistency all throughout the regulation season, confident with that.

I can't believe what I saw from first half in Staples Center. LA Clippers got the worst half time score ever against Mavericks by 50 points. They lost the game by 51 points.
Kawhi Leonard was out but this shouldn't affect team like that. They put 4/33 behind the 3-point line.

Other Los Angeles team Lakers win against Minnesota easily. Cavaliers and Knicks also won.
Brooklyn Nets got their first loss of the season. They need to use rotation players more effectively. If they only rely on Durant and Irving, they can't win every night.

They'll get this one, wasn't expecting this as a blowout, but here it is, good thing there's no fans in the arena, lol.
Game over, THE FINAL SCORE IS 124 - 73, Mavericks won by a huge margin, the biggest win this season so far AFAIR.

I will not mentioned anymore the scoring of he Mavericks as they have shared the ball pretty well and that's the key to this victory.
For the Clippers these are the top performers.

Paul George 15 points (4/13)
Serge Ibaka 13 points (6/11)
Ivica Zubac 10 points (3/4)

All players combined has not made a single point of 10 attempts in the 3 point area.

Too early to tell, he is not even in the top 5 in all categories yet. https://www.espn.com/nba/stats
And don't forget about Kyrie Irving, this guy is also balling well.

Mavs really need a win tonight against Clippers or they will lose even more confidence and moral as a team. On the other side, let's be honest and admit that Clippers are a force not be reckon with for this year and Mavs might lose the fight after all.

I think the best odds as a Mavs fan is to pick Luka at scoring 3+ from 3 point range...
Maybe Dallas will have a chance to win LAC because Kawhi Leonard won't play in this match due to injury. Also, I don't think that the Mavs will lose confidence even if they lose again, considering that the season has just begun.

Mavs was 40pts ahead i looked after 16min of play
does distance also matter? Mavs was allready in  LA but Clippers had to fly back from Denver

Its still on 3rd quarter and the score is 102-55 which is 47 points lead made by Dallas which is really an impressive one.Its understandable though since one of key players arent on the court.

This season has just indeed began and some said that it is just alright to lose for a certain team but starting up on a good record will always on what they do prefer.

About that Kawhi injury:
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kawhi-leonard-injury-clippers-all-star-gets-eight-stitches-to-treat-laceration-in-mouth-after-elbow-to-face/

Eight stitches for laceration? that wont really took long for healing up.

For me, I don't see it as an issue. Just give the kid a break.

It's like Lonzo when he entered the league. Lonzo's debut game was only 3 points in 29 minutes. But in their next game, he grabbed 29 points. Let's see if LaMelo will show good numbers on their next game.

Not expecting they will live on the hype but I'm sure they will have good progress.

Debut games won't be always ending up on good scores. I agree that this isnt been a hype and give those kids some time. They might havent able to get some good start up but this is still a long path to go and make some show-off.

It isnt really much of an isssue yet they wont really be picked out for nothing.

I don't see that it being a debut game is an issue since Ball already underwent to several preseason games and all of those games it didn't went well aside from that his debut game doesn't have any pressure at all without any noises of fans disturbing his performance but he didn't made it through. His 2nd performance he didn't really improve at all with only 13 pts with 6 rebounds and 1 ast for a point guard which I don't think is really good for a PG.

Spurs won once again, I am a big fan so I follow them, and they were great. Defense requries a bit more communication, they are not bad on defense, but they do not talk that much, and that makes switches a lot harder and in this day and age people play switch defense like crazy so you have to talk about that. With Derozan shooting threes, and LMA shooting threes, and all the young players having great games, and Dejounte having a triple double, it was a great game.

I think Spurs will make it to playoffs this year, it will not be "easy", we are not going to suddenly have 60 win season, but things look a lot better than last year for this past two games. The difference of bad defensive players being gone shows a lot, even though we are still not great on defense, we are at least not THAT bad anymore. Hopefully we can see a 50 win season from Spurs once again.

We have not seen him played with John Wall yet, hopefully we will see some chemistry as both are really good and can help the team to improve. Westbrook is not a good PG, he is more focus on his scoring and rebounding, but Wall here understands his role that Harden is the main man.
I hope he does.
Besides, he will also be a star by just feeding Harden.  Grin
I am actually excited about how they can work it out. 2 offensive guys in one team. I mean 3 if you will include Gordon which most of the times explodes when Harden is in the zone.  Grin

Just one more game against the Nuggets and we will be witnessing how their chemistry will be.
John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Gordon likely to return Wednesday

Nice one, I'm looking forward on seeing them play together this Wednesday. No doubt Harden can carry this team but not to their expectation which is the championship, so he needs John Wall and the supporting cast, so hopefully Harden will be nice to them and play some good chemistry like Irving and Durant.
