Washington Wizards played a home game against Chicago Bulls last night. Wizards were so close to get their first win but Chicago managed to win here (133-130). The match was really good. On Wizards side, Beal and Bryant got 28 points. Westbrook made a triple-double (22 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists). On Bulls side, Porter and White made a double-double (Porter got 28 points, 12 rebounds and White got 16 points, 10 assists).

That's almost a win, don't worry,  they'll get a win next time, maybe they'll win today against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Wizards is an underdog, I believe they'll continue to play harder and it's good to back them to win since they are desperate enough to win.

Westbrook is just playing right, getting triple double is usual to him, others should step up too.
That was indeed a close one and regarding about Westbrook then its not really a surprising thing anymore about triple double.
Playing against with Timberwolves? Not to underestimate but this would be an easy one compared on against or playing with Bulls.

They did their best on the game but it wasnt enough but 3 point lead doesnt signify that they had a bad night.

I don't think it's easy, they should play harder, Bulls not really a good team so I think Wizards has to watch the tapes over and over and figure out where the mistakes happen so they can adjust in this game. Minny vs Wizards, it's a good match up and we will know soon if Wizards will get their first win in the regular season.

Well, this is just the beginning of season though.
We know that but let's hope they can get one win to fuel more wins.

Another game, another "0" by the Wizards.  What do you think about this team?

Westbrook had a triple double but they still loss, it's not good anymore, they are close to winning but they still fall short.

Westbrooks STATS in this game.

Points - 22
Assists - 11
Rebounds -10
Not that bad for me considering they don't have the deep chemistry yet.
WB did great blending with his new teammates.
I say they might do better next 10 - 20 games.
Also, it was that error in the last seconds of the game. 5secs is a lot of time. Bad decision for whoever thrown that ball halfcourt.

On the other side, John Wall is also looking great. We will see more of them and realize who did better in the trade.

John Wall, James Harden, Danuel House, P.J. Tucker and Christian Wood will start Thursday's game against Sacramento.

Rockets will get this win, though Kings been playing a competitive basketball lately but I'd go with the team who are hungry for their first win in this season.

Its commendable Harden is still playing good even though being a hot topic that he will be traded. Other players might be affected by this but man, Harden is one good player. I just hope that he won't get traded and they would just get another good player to back him up specially on how well their team did last playoffs.

I feel like no Westbrook team has overachieved so far ever, hence why I am not shocked by this neither. Dude is a good player himself but he was never a player that really changed anything for anyone around him, which is why I do not think it really matters where he goes, he just gets his stats, he really gets some attention from defense as well, but that's about it, he is not going to make any team better just being there.

I don't think that it is the player's fault but from what I know it is always about having a star player on the right team which makes him more successful. I know he went to Houston Rockets and was given some good players around him with James Harden there but that kind of fit where both are scorers is something that won't go well for the team especially both players are not known to be good at defense. Having a good team is more than that which is always about trying to compensate with one another which the Rockets have failed to do so.

A lot of it has to do with play style.  Nobody wants to play with James Harden or Westbrook because their play style involves them having the ball so much of the time that other players on the team feel a bit unappreciated.  Everyone wants to feel appreciated at work, so you can imagine that having a coworker like Russ or James would not be the most fun experience.  You can't really blame them either, as that's the play style that made them rich beyond most people's wildest dreams, and they are unlikely to abandon it so their coworkers can feel happy.  Many people would argue this makes them bad teammates, but at least in Westbrook's case there are plenty of ex-teammates that would say otherwise.

I would agree that it would be very hard for any team to overachieve so long as their style of play is heavily surrounded around one man's abilities.  That might get you 50 wins during the regular season, but it won't cut it in the playoffs.

Beal is a good player too, I was expecting him to make a big change for the team and carry the team, but obviously that didn't happen neither. Wizards look like they are well into their rebuilding process right now while still not rebuilding, I would say if I were them, I would get picks and send both beal and westbrook, no point on trying to grind for a decade without getting any success, when instead you could just tank for few years and get some good rookies and suddenly become a playoff team a lot easier.

That's one indication that the Rockets has won the trade because this guy has nothing to show us, especially when he is alone and the whole team is not synchronizing on what kind of play he wanted. That triple-double has nothing to do with the game as we already know how he earned those digits and it's not praised worthy.

Sure, this isn't a good start to the season for them. However, I think that the wizards were just unlucky in this match against the Bulls. Westbrook, Beal, and other teammates had a good performance, but they also got five technical fouls.

Regardless, a loss is still a loss, no excuses, they need to win and they have a game tomorrow against the Minnesota Timberwolves, do you think they have a good chance of winning this game? They are currently a slight favorite with -1.

They are last in the standing and only two teams in the NBA thus far haven't won a single game yet.

Haven't seen Cousins played yet, when is his debut with the Rockets?
Maybe you haven't see the full reply yet or you didn't want the game live. Cousins already made a debut together with Joh Wall.

You can see in the box score - https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=401267225
He played 14 minutes only and made 8 points.

Yeah he did played earlier but not that long, good thing he made some shots but not quite impressive coming out from the final quarter,
he made consecutive errors giving Kings some good leads in the early minutes of the fourth. Good thing that Harden comes alive and
bring the game to it's top, scoring most in this last quarter to give them a win.

You are right, Rockets had their first win in the series and it was indeed a close game, they did not cover the point spread but I'm glad they won.
Wall had 22 points and 9 assists in his debut, this is a great start but they still need to work on the chemistry so they'll keep winning the rest of the season.

Harden's cold blooded 3 points is still there, but he should also know how to trust his teammates, his kind of shot is very predictable, a good defensive team might easily stop that kind of shot.

Harden does not change and I think there's no need to change because that's the way he played, but I like what I'm seeing that it's wall who is bringing the ball and Wall does look for Harden to do the offense, soon we will see more improvement from this two dou as long as Wall stays healthy. Haven't seen Cousins played yet, when is his debut with the Rockets?
Well that's what Houston should do, let Wall bring the ball. Instead of Harden becoming the play maker and the scorer. Of course Harden will not simply change his style of play, he is still the franchise player of Houston so he won't adjust. It's Wall that need to involved himself and blend in with the team.

First game they played together, not bad at all.

This team might not be a championship contender but their chances of getting into the playoffs is high as long as these two NBA superstar will play according to what is expected from them. Wall had 9 assists means he was really effective as a PG, and he is also making some points which is very important.

It looks like Markelle Fultz really found the right team for him. He's been contributing well that lead the Magic's 4-0 run this season. He's come a long way since his "classic" free throw days at Philadelphia. Remember those days? Hehe.
I remember that.
He was trying to change his shooting style or maybe someone is trying to change it like trainers.
It was not cleared who made it that way but it resulted badly.
Now he is back. Stats may not look like for a number 1 draft pick but he is there.
He even did a double-double against OKC.

Another NBA player who has recently suffered an ankle injury was Ja Morant, it was not very serious, but he will be away for a few weeks
I hope both players recover soon!
Thank God.
I watched that in slow-mo and I felt how bad it is.
He should learn to look at where he will land next time.
