I was really shocked when I saw the first half score of LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks game (27-77). I really can't believe how the hell the first half ended like that. The result of the match had not too much difference too. Dallas won 124-73. I am curious about whether this game was rigged or not.  Grin

Last year Mavs lost a game when they were wining for 30 points. So when with 50 points difference at halftime Mavs fans were scared. But team plays different game this year. Less depend on offence and 3 point shoot and make much less turnovers. And more depend on defence. So losing games when they win for 30 points will be much harder as last year.

I'm sure they weren't scared that they would lose this game.  It would take 2 record half by both teams for them to lose.  The chances of losing that game after halftime was probably nil.

The Mavs vs Clippers today sets a new record in the NBA. A 50 point deficit in the halftime. Rare to see such lead. It's like a rookie mode in NBA 2k.
I don't know If I can still trust this team's odds or nah.
LOL.  Grin
They should at least put it to All-Star mode. That way we might be a little entertained.
The hell is that.
How could it not be a big of a deal.
It's one way to prove they are not a team that leans over Kawhi.
Also, it's the start of the season which is important to build something with fans.
1 person here is already proof that fans will doubt them now.
I don't know If I can still trust this team's odds or nah.

Who watched the Lakers vs Portland TrailBlazers? Nice game, right..

I watched the highlights of the game only, yes, TrailBlazers are really playing well and as usual Lillard and Mcculum are doing their thing but they added some scorer which is Trent Jr. Actually I already notice his good performance during the bubble, but this time it's a whole season, so we will see more of him.

Meanwhile, Rockets had their 2nd loss without Wall and Cousins, Harden still lead the team, but again they loss against  the Denver Nuggets.

I thought Lakers would dominate because they are in complete line up, AD is back and they came from a big win but Blazers really played well, distribute the ball well and everyone is contributing.

This is a healthy Portland TrailBlazers is what we are going to see in this season.

Nurkic is back and they have Kanter back in the line up, also, they have a new contributor in the name of Gary Trent Jr., who can produce points when needed, and in this game, he was the top scorer with 28 points and shooting 7-11 in 3 point area, unbelievable.

I hope it doesn't happen again because I almost had a heart attack watching it.

Overreacting lol.

But seriously, losing is just fine but since the Clippers is considered as number 2 in the West and even others say it's because Kawhi Leonard is not there, it should be a close game or maybe around down to 10-15 lead.

Allowing Mavericks to score 77 in just the first half is crazy I even assume that there will be no other low teams that won't be down at 50 points in just a first half.
I think if the other team is hot , or in the zone, no one can stop them, even when the GSW make history they still lose to the Cavs with 3-1 advantage
what I mean to say is that you can't predict what is going to happen in a ball game, what can we do if they are on fire and the other team's defense can't handle it, it's still early, and its just one game

Logically right, no one can dictate the tempo of the game.

Once the team start feeling hot and luck back them up the team even an underdog will able to beat the heavy favorite. it's tough to single this game out, but it's the adjustment is what important for clippers. Kawhai should be replaced by role players and good leadership of PG. Trust one another and play much harder.

I think we need to consider that something happened in the locker room after what happened to Leonard and they can't concentrate to play. If you look at how they played yesterday you won't consider them a competitive team an unsynchronized team like that won't get a chance to get into the NBA playoffs. they really need Kawhi as soon as possible.

Don't worry, he will be back soon, kind of injury needs a little time to rest to heal but it's not that serious though.
8 stitches is a long laceration and that even more difficult because it happen inside his mouth. Injuries like are difficult to heal due to the fact that healing process takes time if it is inside the body of the injured person unlike the scratches or lacerations outside or exposed from the body. Meaning that Leonard will going to miss some games for this season but probably it takes a month or two to heal the injuries and that possibly too will have a great impact on their team especially to gather winning records.

He needed that rest to heal this laceration. Not good start for him.

But it's accident and even how hard players tried to avoid such kind of things, it's uncontrollable. Kawhai will miss some games since
this stitches is very prone of hitting again and damage more. The whole squad needs to step up and avoid experiencing the same result
against Dallas.

well, I'm a little out of date with the NBA, but could anyone tell me about the injury Kawhi Leonard had against Serge Ibaka?
Was it something serious? Is he better already? or was it nothing too much?

update on Kawhi Leonard can be found in https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/29695/kawhi-leonard

Here's some info about what happen ,

Quote
Kawhi Leonard (mouth laceration) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Mavericks.
Leonard had to receive eight stitches inside of his mouth as a result of his collision with Serge Ibaka during Friday's win over Denver. Luke Kennard appears to be the most likely option to fill the resulting void in the starting lineup, and Leonard's absence will also put the ball in Paul George's hands even more.

DFS Slant:
With Kawhi OUT for today's matchup against the Mavericks, Paul George will become a popular must play at value pricing.

We'll see what the next few games have in store for us. Either way, I was amazed myself during the first half. Among other things, it was really absurd to see the score grow like that. I didn't expect it.  I hope it doesn't happen again because I almost had a heart attack watching it.

I think we will see more of that this season, there's no fans that would cheer up the home team, so things like that could happen. Sometimes, a team just sleep and let the opposing team dominate them, that's it, Clippers still lose one game regardless of the score and regardless of how bad they played.

Some NBA results are crazy and it's harder than ever for me to predict correct winners, and I don't know if it is because of no crowd or what.
Important players Spencer Dinwiddie, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are going to miss the game against Memphis Grizzlies and they are listed as injured. Grizzlies have their own injured players and they lost last all two previous games.

At +165 / -200 for Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers respectively, can't imagine if there's a rigged on that game. I mean, no sense to do it.

Mavericks starters are just hot right at the start. Almost the entire roster has a contribution to that game. Kind of a surprise here too as the Clippers aren't supposed to be like that even Kawhi Leonard missed that game. They will probably lose but not on the big gap with that figure.

Another surprise is Knicks vs Bucks, with the Knicks knocking down the latter with 20 points lead.

Clippers are getting too much hate right now for the way they lost, and specially after that famous 3-1 loss last year and with this horrible loss last night, they are on everyone's map but I really do not get how they became like this.

Just a year prior, before all the PG and Kawhi drama, when Clippers played against Warriors, arguable one of the best teams in the league at the time with Klay and Durant available, they made a HUGE comeback and won one game, lost the series obviously, but during that one comeback, everyone was cheering for them. What happened that suddenly everyone has a big hatred for them?

In any case I suppose this was definitely one of the worst games they played and a rare occasion, with Kawhi back they will definitely be a much better team and I do not expect them to go down that easily on playoffs this year after all the things said to them.

Mavs really need a win tonight against Clippers or they will lose even more confidence and moral as a team.
It became an overkill.  Cheesy

That indeed is more than an overkill lol.
I'm become really confused about the Clippers.
Are this team built to just defeat the Lakers? Lol

If you trust Paul George, you should still trust the Clippers.

Listen to him : Paul George: Clippers' 51-Point Loss to Mavericks Is 'Not That Big of a Deal'

Maybe when Leonard came back, they'll be a threat again, but next game I think betting against them is a good move, until they figure out how to win without Kawhi.
