The Rockets don't have the required eight available players, league says.

The league made a mistake. There should be way less than 72 games in a season. Because of covid-19 many games will be postponed. This will be a long season again. They should also allow teams to hire more than just 15+2 players.

Another Covid-19 related case.
Whew. This will keep on coming if they don't follow health protocols.
I hope it's not another delivery urge for the food outside.  Grin

Big win for the Spurs against the Grizzlies. De Rozan starting off good aldridge Aldridge was able to contribute as well. I hope this team remains consistent throughout the season. The players owe it to their coach who is nearing his retirement days.
If they can win against a healthy Grizzlies team then I guess they are already on a good track.
Dejounte Murray had a lot of contributions. 21pts 6 rebs 9assts Wow!
Something changed with the Spurs play. More outside shots.

The nets looked great last actually.  Was expecting some rust from Durant but he looked real good for his first game back from the injury.  Bulliah on Nets going forward.  They will hit bumps but if they play like that most of the season they will be a tough out.

I agree, although they are the favourite against GSW, I thought that Durant will be rusty that's why I put a bet on GSW to at least pull some upset. But it seems that Durant didn't missed anything and so is Kyrie, so I think the odds might shift in favour of Nets chances of winning this years championship with that first game performance from Durant.

So it's scary I would say how the two will combine, perfectly healthy in the East.
Many of the fans now would look greatly with the Brooklyn Nets. I'm also moved to see how Durant made it well against Golden State Warriors. Everybody thought that it would be harder for Nets because of the past situation of KD. But it didn't showed that he's still in that situation before and the next matches of Nets will be followed by many.

Yeah right! KD's condition seems  like he's  aiming  for another  title.

He keeps  impressing  he's fans the way he played last night, though  it's still a long  road and lots of adjustments  from different  teams  and trades still possible  to happen,  but for now Nets have a better  chance  to win  this from the East and also  a chance  to win  the title.

He will be one of the best NBA players if he will get another championship with another team. Before he came and Irving, nets is not a playoffs team but if they will help to give success to the team, Durant will be appreciated by the fans.

I love their chances this season to be honest, as long as they are healthy, we will see a great playoffs.

Look this could have been a historical night for Nikola Jokic if he was just made that winning score. But that's just the way it is, right? anyway, he was amazing tonight looking forward to seeing his next games.

He's the man, he will continue to make that kind of stats as he plays longer in the NBA, probably the best big man in today's generation and I like his hardwork and he still remain humble. Denver has a long way to go, some teams just have a bad opening game but the law of average will prevail.

If they  continue  playing  like that then  for sure changes  will take place.

Odds from the bookmakers  will  follow this first game performances  coming  from  the entire squad of the Nets,  Kyrie  and KD really  showcase their  talents they've  been  so good so far, good catch for the fans watching  them playing  at home with this combined  great performance.

Do you mean Pau, not Marc?

They really are strong and there's no doubt with it. As long as these big three is with them and they've already synchronized as they won the championship last season. They've made history because it was done in a bubble.

I agree that there is a big chance that they'll get a back to back title.

Very possible to win that back to back championship Title.

They still have the momentum and even they've traded important players who helped them to win it from the bubble, those who replace
them are also capable of filling it up. Though they've loss it up from the clippers today there are still lots of games to cope up and continue
the quest of winning back.
They are still up and strong, their roster line up is still dependable. The first matches are like the warm-ups for this season. Although it is one of their boosters for their feelings if they get the first win in the league. But we've seen something like this many times and they won't just allow to have their loss a streak.

We'll see the match tomorrow on Christmas day against Dallas.

......

Who is watching Suns vs Mavs? i'm eager to see how Chris Paul will dictate the pace and control the game but there's no sign from him yet. It's Booker at the moment.

I'm gonna see a good playoffs and NBA Finals this year, if Nets will reach in the NBA Finals, that would be a hell of a series. Now, I'm seeing the Clippers or the Lakers to advance in the NBA Finals, well, I'd love to see surprises as well so I want to be wrong.

70 games, 60 games, 50 games or 20-man roster, 18-man roster, 15-man roster, etc. won't matter at all if there's always a postponement.

I don't think the league made a mistake. That was a good decision cutting the season from 82 games. It's just that there are unfortunate things really happen.

And if Rockets only have the required players, the game will proceed. Hopefully, no more (even impossible) or only a few Covid-19 related cases will happen in the future.

It feels like the previous season just ended. I think for the Lakers having such a quick turnaround will be challenging. The teams with longer layoffs will be anxious to get back to playing while the teams that made it to the playoffs wish they had gotten a longer break so they can recover. Having to always be training and playing without enough rest could take it's toll.

Charlotte Hornets vs Cleveland Cavaliers is starting soon and I like the odds for Hornets to win here and with players like Devonte Graham and P.J. Washington this should be easier, but Cavaliers will not gave up easy and there are some key injured players for them today Love and KPJ.
I think we are going to see close result score but Hornets to win for me.

One game is postponed for safety reasons Houston Rockets - Oklahoma City Thunder.

Agree, they are a real competitor now, they made a big statement in their first game and I like that and just like everyone is hoping, I hope for no injury.
Durant is still the same old Durant and overtime he will be more dangerous as he will be more confident, and that I'm betting on the Nets to beat Lebron and AD.

2021 NBA season has started with a really delightful game. LA Lakers played a home game against LA Clippers. It was a really tough game for both teams and I really enjoyed watching it. It was a really close game and LA Clippers managed to win 109-116 here. On LA Lakers side, Lebron James got 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Schroder was nearly making a triple-double if he got 2 more assists. On LA Clippers side, P. George and K. Leonard were really good. P. George got 33 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. K. Leonard got 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists.

Lakers rallied but they still loss, I was not able to finish watching the game because I stop watching when Clippers led 20 points, when I tune back in, I saw Lakers having a rally but I was really expecting they'll win as they have a bad start.

Good game for the Clippers, PG was really the man here.

Common start up for Lakers and this was the same on past season where they do made up some loss but it wouldnt really be much of an issue yet adjustments would be made.
The game was in deed entertaining but i dont take up some serious insights since this is just starting but i cant deny that PG is in good shape and same goes with Kawhi.
