78th NBA anniversary starts with Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors is starting in few moments and with Kevin Durant and Curry healthy and ready to organize their game, and with coach Steve Nash I think Nets are big favorites in this match.

an Intresting game to see the nets started quite good in the first corner but I'm Excited for GSW reason is I want to see Curry back in action, i hope he doesn't waiste time and hetting off to a good start.
It Will be interesting to watch KDs mobility and how he meshes with Kyrie. I think If he can stay healthy (Durant) he will be easily the best offensive player in the league and a dark horse for MVP Nets should keep tearing up the Warriors but Wonder how Nets will be trying
to gaurd Curry.

With the match of Nets vs Warriors later. I've stumbled upon this article. KD admits that he's missing his past teammates and is now likely in good terms with Green.

After Warriors exit, Kevin Durant sounds like he's on decent terms with Draymond Green

Warriors will never be the same as before, when they're conquering most of the teams.

That would be a good thing for Kevin Durant to do, forgive and forget and move on as no matter what he would do now won't change the past. I remembered that scene very well and for me that is jus a burst of emotion for Draymond Green and part of the game, nothing personal.
It's part of their career as a professional inside the court.

There would always be misunderstanding and quarrels like this. But the past is past and we've heard it from KD that they've been ok and there's no bad emotions left for both of them.

As long as they're in good terms, that's the most important part that they had. We get to see KD play again later. Which team you're eyeing for this match?

I'm a fan of the Splash Bros TBH and Kevin Durant as well when he was playing for the Warriors  Smiley. Today's odds for the games between them is interesting as Klay Thompson won't play thus making the odds to bet for the Warriors @3.60 which for me is very attaractive and tempting considering that this is KD's first game and we don't know how we would jell with his team mates.

Bottom line, will bet for the underdog.

You have a good point, Nets are so hype because of the return of Durant and Irving, actually they did well in the preseason but this is regular season, thins could be different, so your bet has a good chance of winning, good luck on that.

It's good to hear that coming from Durant and I'm sure the feeling is the same witth Dreymond. It's been almost two years so its past already. And we all know how emotional Green and I'm sure Warriors are familiar how big Green's mouth is.

Also they can move on now, Warriors has revamped already after we are going to see Durant in Nets uniform.

Lebron is getting older thats why he should really be careful because this isnt similar when he's still in his younger days but still its impressive to see when it comes to its physique.

He already knows that. He's always taking care of his body since then. There's even a report before that he is spending $1,500,000 a year to take care of his built and health. The cost includes all the equipment used and the salary of all involved staff.

We have seen last season that he is not that exhausted in every game compared to when he's on Cleveland Cavaliers wherein there's a season he completed all 82 games with an average of 40MPG.  Shocked

With that, he's not forced to always become aggressive in every game as he's now surrounded by good role players, especially with the prime Anthony Davis.
Yeah, im much pretty aware on that where he spends up money for his body condition and built which i do saw that it is just right or a good decision to put some investment on that part since
health is the most important for him to continue as one of the greatest player on this sport.

I agree into that observation about exhaustion where he isnt really that much stressed or too overload on carrying his team which had mentioned where
his team do able to execute their roles very well.

Lakers depend on Lebron. No matter who they will bring, if he will be healthy and play well they will be good and will win. If he will get injured or he will play bad Lakers will play bad and not come far in the playoff. It is a lot in motivation. Lebron was super motivated last year because of bad first year at Lakers. It is not that easy to stay motivated when on top and at his age.

Agreed entirely.  No lebron then I dont think another ship is in the cards.  He is the driving factor and always has been for his teams.  Dude makes his whole team accountable which is hard to do in the NBA.  If Lebron stays healthy they are definately the team to beat, if not its anyone's chance out of the west.  Highly competitive teams out there.

On having a superstar into the team doesnt really make out some advantage but also give out some boost up into its fellow members and also raises up motivation.

Once this guy had been injured or do have some problems for him not able to play then that would surely be a big loss. No other player can patch it up in terms of performance or plays.

Kuzma is not really that big of a name, he could have found himself another team and Lakers would have been still fine. If I am not wrong Kuzma is still on contract right? It was an extension only. At the end of the day I believe the real deal here is still Lebron and AD, but lack of Danny Green is still out there.

For example, they have KCP but he is a great offensive guy, not a great defensive guy there. In any case with players like Gasol and Harrel they have a lot better big line up with AD backing them up, and having Schroder for PG minutes with caruso or so like bench, they are going to be definitely a great team. When you are a team that is a clear champion, others line up to join your squad, so it is easy to build a team.

However I still wouldn't give them the title right away, not like they are clear dominate team in the league, I see them as the highest chance, they definitely have bigger chance than anyone else, but they are not 80%+ guaranteed levels, I would give them 40-50% chance.

The regular season will start few hours from now with these games
- Nets vs. Warriors
- Lakers vs. Clippers

Nets and Lakers are the favorites to win their games and I think that's just fair.
It's probably better to bet on handicaps and total score. What do you think?
I'm looking at +7 or higher for the Warriors and over 230.

Dennis Schroder
Montrezl Harrel
Talen Horton-Tucker
Devontae Cacok

THT or Talen Horton-Tucker was great in preseason and he is maybe greatest surprise for Lakers with only 20 years old he had some great average stats in four LA games, but all team is looking much better and they always beat Clippers four times this year.

NBA season is coming back and LA Lakers are probably looking stronger than before with new signings and paying $40 million for Kuzma, so I don't think LA Clippers will have any chance in LA battle.
Kuzma isn't new to the team so they're still the same. But it's three of them who are the big three of Lakers, LBJ, Davis, and Kuzma. They allowed them to stay for sure.

Clippers are also strong. We're at the beginning of the season and we have no idea what these teams will bring to us and also other teams that have new roster update.

Lakers had the best centers in the NBA, they have Davis and Gasol, both of them won a championship already, so I think they are really strong and I understand why people are really expecting them to win a back to back championship. On the other hand, Clippers Center are not really that tall, so I think they will still get dominated in the inside, they have a young centers to be specific and they have only Serge Ibaka which we consider an experience player but not as tall and as good as Davis and Gasol.

Who won the coach of the year last season?

2019-20 - Nick Nurse (Toronto Raptors)

As per here, the NBA announced that voting for that season's awards would be based solely on games played before the season was halted.[2]

Playoffs aren't included in the criteria so don't be surprised if it's not the head coach of either Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, etc. that received the award.
Wow, thanks.
I didn't know that. I am glad I am enlightened.  Grin
I was shocked it was not Spoelstra or Vogel but now I know the reason behind it.

NBA season starts tomorrow. Get your money ready coz there might be unpredictable games that will happen.
With all the trades that occurred, chemistry may not be present with some teams. I am actually having a hard time choosing for the first 2 games.  Grin

I don't know about that but if the Clippers don't make any counter moves about these signings, their dream of getting to the finals will be in jeopardy since the Lakers have already managed to strengthen their bonds with their players and this is one of the most crucial needs to make a strong team. I mean, when we see them play this season they already know each other so well that they will trust each player on the team to do their own roles. I smell another championship with this strengthened Lakers this year.
