Yeah, the Warriors were looking very weak in the first game against the Nets. I know it's only one game, but I guess that this season will be difficult for Curry if his teammates don't start helping him on the court.
It's difficult, no Klay for the whole season because of injury.
Definitely it's difficult but the season is long, they will adjust in the long run, what I just hope is Curry to be fully healthy in the regular season and hopefully in the postseason if they are lucky to enter in the playoffs. Wiggins and Oubre Jr. just have to improve in their next game, both of them are shooting pretty awful in that game.

It's part of their career as a professional inside the court.

There would always be misunderstanding and quarrels like this. But the past is past and we've heard it from KD that they've been ok and there's no bad emotions left for both of them.

As long as they're in good terms, that's the most important part that they had. We get to see KD play again later. Which team you're eyeing for this match?

I'm a fan of the Splash Bros TBH and Kevin Durant as well when he was playing for the Warriors  Smiley. Today's odds for the games between them is interesting as Klay Thompson won't play thus making the odds to bet for the Warriors @3.60 which for me is very attaractive and tempting considering that this is KD's first game and we don't know how we would jell with his team mates.

Bottom line, will bet for the underdog.
That's a win for the Brooklyn Nets. A huge score different for most of the quarters except the 4th quarter where Warriors only got to lead by 2 points. Still a nice try for those who have bet with Warriors, can go on with another match from different teams.

Nets managed to win with 26 points difference, but Lakers lost from Clippers and it was probably because of first quarter that Lakers played very bad and lost with 20 points. Now there are 13 new matches and I like Toronto Raptors win against New Orleans Pelicans, but we should better watch out for first few rounds for some surprise results.
Yes, that's a huge score upper hand for Nets. First two games of both teams and it's exciting to watch how they'll be cool with their opening matches.

Nets now have 20 point lead and they are much better than Warriors but it is sad to see there is no real crowd in Barclays Center.
Big win by the Nets, what a statement from them, Durant and Irving lead the team and I thought it was a close game but Nets have dominated them.

Final score : 99-125... Nets win by 26 points. Easy win.

However, there's a good news here, it seems like Paul George is comfortable with the current coach. He lead the team with 33 points and with some accurate shooting at 13/18 and 5/8 in the 3 point line, if he plays like this kind of consistency, Clippers is a tough team to beat.
I hope so.
It's either they choke against Nuggets last playoffs or the coach is really that bad.
Now, he has the chance to prove that the problem is not with them.

How about Brooklyn Nets?
Damn. They are complete.
Offensively and defensively they are there. 2nd team is also doing well. They might become the new favorite by now.
This is going to be an awesome NBA.  Wink

This should be a fun year for the NBA.  Once again there are no absolute "super powers" in the league where it's already a forgone conclusion on who is going to win the championship before it even gets started.
There are still favorite/s though and it's quite easy to see who they are.

I was impressed at how well the Brooklyn Nets played last night.  They certainly look like a force to recon with.  Makes me wonder who will be the top dog in the East between Giannis and Kevin Durant.
Nets are set for a playoff run.

If we're to assume that none of them will not suffer a season ending injury, I am with Kevin Durant all day. To me. there's a huge difference in mindset between the two. One who has won it all would feel less pressure and more confident than someone who hasn't even reached the NBA Finals.

Am I crazy or did Lakers actually looked... great? I get that they lost the game, I get that everyone was expecting them to win but Clippers came out with tempted up emotions, since they lost the last game of last year, they have been attacked like crazy, plus Lakers won the ring, and also got Harrel as well so Clippers was on full force attack and aggressive defense so I get it. However for a starting them Lakers played like an opening night versus Clippers playing like it is the 7th game of NBA finals, and Lakers didn't even lose by that much.

However talking about how everyone knows what they have to do, the team finally looked like it really has a full team of people who know what they should do, instead of just focusing on talent. Drawing the roles very clearly make things a lot easier for the teams and Lakers really look like a well oiled machine if you ask me.
Well, I'm glad that Clippers won and PG is at it again with a splash. I think they (Lakers player) are great and it happen the last year but more likely they still got some lag from the past championship or maybe it's like an observation, who knows. Let's wait until they got around 10 and higher games, they still a beast if I'm asked and still the favorite.

Do you mean Pau, not Marc?

They really are strong and there's no doubt with it. As long as these big three is with them and they've already synchronized as they won the championship last season. They've made history because it was done in a bubble.

I agree that there is a big chance that they'll get a back to back title.

Very possible to win that back to back championship Title.

They still have the momentum and even they've traded important players who helped them to win it from the bubble, those who replace
them are also capable of filling it up. Though they've loss it up from the clippers today there are still lots of games to cope up and continue
the quest of winning back.

Exactly, there's still more games to see and the regular season results is not really a good basis to predict who will win in the finals or in the playoffs, one good example is the Bucks, they were always consistent as the best team in the regular season but they sucked in the playoffs.

Lakers just having a little hangover, they felt the championship so they lay low a bit, they'll bounce back for sure.

Marc Gasol just played his first game with the Lakers, he only played 12 minutes and scoreless, what a bad game for him in his debut as a Laker.

This is just some warm-up and maybe Marc is getting some sort of new role in this game since he is not the starting line up now. I think they also need to consider signing Pau to Lakers since was one of the players who contributed to their past championship with the legendary Kobe Bryant. Maybe this is his last wish, to play with his brother on the same team in the NBA. They really need to consider this, since those two are dominating the last FIBA World Championships.
Yeah, this game is just a sort of feeling the Lakers team and vibe. So there nothing to worry even if he is scoreless and play a dismay minutes. Perhaps the Lakers doesn't want the other team to scout on them and see how Marc will fit on Lakers. However, I disagree with signing Pau to Lakers, he already had his team with the Legendary Kobe and did his part. So Lakers fans won't forget about that.

Marc Gasol was in foul trouble that's why he wasn't able to produce for the team. One game is not enough to conclude that he does not fit to the team, we know how good he is, he will bounce back because he is legit and he has a heart of a champion now, IIRC, Gasol once won the defensive player of the year, man just having a bad night, that's it.

those who were not able to watch the game, check some info here.

NBA season is coming back and LA Lakers are probably looking stronger than before with new signings and paying $40 million for Kuzma, so I don't think LA Clippers will have any chance in LA battle.
Kuzma isn't new to the team so they're still the same. But it's three of them who are the big three of Lakers, LBJ, Davis, and Kuzma. They allowed them to stay for sure.

Clippers are also strong. We're at the beginning of the season and we have no idea what these teams will bring to us and also other teams that have new roster update.

Lakers had the best centers in the NBA, they have Davis and Gasol, both of them won a championship already, so I think they are really strong and I understand why people are really expecting them to win a back to back championship. On the other hand, Clippers Center are not really that tall, so I think they will still get dominated in the inside, they have a young centers to be specific and they have only Serge Ibaka which we consider an experience player but not as tall and as good as Davis and Gasol.
Do you mean Pau, not Marc?
They got Marc Gasol now, Pau played before with the team and showed his interest to play with the Lakers again, but we have no news about this yet.

The wait is over finally, we all are happy to see new season of NBA. I didn't make any bets on first day because you know there are too much uncertainties.
Brooklyn Nets beat Golden State Warriors as expected.
Clippers has 20 points lead in first period, well that's unexpected. That's why I stay away from first day matches. Let's see if Lakers can recover from this.

I'm not sure with this, they will play in staple center if I'm not mistaken, no homecourt actually, so I guess Clippers also has a shot here.
I'm rooting for the Clippers to win this game, good luck.

I'm finally back betting on NBA after a long vacation, enjoy our holidays guys and watch NBA all the time.  Grin
