Losing Klay had such a large impact but I am not pessimistic yet as I have seen this Warriors team before in their down moments and then suddenly rising.
There's still hope.

Correct, let him play his usual and normal game, we don't know maybe he can have one of the best seasons. Instead of putting pressure on himself to perform at Klay's level, which obviously he is not. I wish that people around him are not going to life compare him to Klay, again, different player and his impact could be very different as well.

Look at the post 1 page back, the line before Klay Thompson was announced injured was +650 to win a championship, they are next to Clippers and Brooklyn nets with just +50 difference. Now, with this news, they are already +1700, there's a significant move on the odds which does not favor to them if we based this on their chances of winning.

Even Klay Thompson didn't suffer the injury, Warriors won't be included as one of the Favorites in NBA Futures prior the start of NBA season. Lots of teams can handle them on their current setup. They will just tagged by sportbookies obviously as one of the Favorites if ever they able to climb the ladder on the way. It's still a question if Wiggins will be a good blend to the Splash Brothers. And now that Klay is out, Wiggins will surely switch to Klay's position.

Warriors are still incomplete as a whole even with a healthy lineup as we know most West teams are now improved. They need some overhauling on their supporting cast. Either they will get another good role players or trust the current setup like what they did before that become successful.

Warriors losing Klay Thompson is like Lakers losing Lebron James or Anthony Davis, so we can understand the odds movement after it's reported that he is out for the whole season, if we are uncertain now, then we can wait until the season starts and check of the Warriors are doing better then if we see they are, we can still put our bet on the NBA Futures as the odds are still available in the early stage of the coming season.

There is no way Warriors could win, even with Klay back on the court they weren't seen as favorites, let that sink in for a while, even with everyone healthy they were seen as 5th or even 6th team in the predictions which tells me there is a huge possibility that we may end up with warriors becoming a barely playoff team once again this year.

First round exit is best they could hope for if you ask me because with that lack of defense in the wings they are going to have a huge trouble figuring out how to stop other teams even if they can find a way to score, plus as long as teams stop Curry, there is no more other threats in that team anymore, just one.

Nets becoming second is probably due to Harden talks and not the current situation. I agree that Nets are quite good right now with Irving and Durant but they are not suddenly THAT good, they are probably under bucks and clippers for me. However if they get Harden which was the talk for a week now and I don't know what will happen with that, they will definitely become very good, not only second good but first and probably biggest title contention good. Irving + Harden + Durant is a marvelous combo, I don't know if they still have Deandre Jordan or not but that would be a great help too. At the end of the day NBA is a superstars league and you can't win anything without a superstar and the more superstar you have the bigger chance of a title you would have.

I think Golden State can not be champion this year. Although they had a very good team last season and they could not become the champion. There will be no difference this year. Klay Thompson is one of the most important players for this team, we saw the team's performance when he wasn't playing. Stephen Curry is not a player who can make a champion alone.

They are still a contender even without Klay but its a hard path to take. Man, I just cannot forget the fact that Danny Green caused that injury and now Klay is paying that heavy price of tarnishing his career. Lets just hope for a speedy recovery.

Golden States can still play I guess but we should expect big trades if they want to at least reach the playoffs.

Well, he has to convert what he learn into action, and he is more needed to step up now that Thompson is already out in the next season. Warriors is a good team in general but due to injury, their chances have reduce, but if Wiggins will be able to fill the Thompson's contribution, I think they will be the same team which is hard to beat.
