Donovan Mitchell is feeling great.
It may really not affect on them since they are all healthy athletic people.

https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1239549150729035776

Well, it is in the statistics that only those who are old and already have compromised health before COVID-19 dies. So, healthy players like Mitchell and Gobert will survive this. We do not have to worry about them. We should worry about the people they got in contact with. Most of them are not as healthy as these athletes.
Sad to say but since they've got this virus the chance of spreading it up without any knowledge is high. Those people who interact with them for the last few days before they've been diagnosed are also prone to have the same issue. Senior citizens and those who have previous cases being hospitalized that's related to this symptoms are needed to look upon.
Hopefully they'll got the chance to detect them before the spread out will be more wider.

Kevin Durant is reported to be amongst four players from the Brooklyn Nets to test positive for Covid-19, according to @SpectatorIndex which happens to be a trusted news source (for me), tweeted. The source also claimed that KD's feeling great despite testing positive to the pandemic.

I was about to post and ask it here and here you are. I thought it isn't for real and just a troll page that I have seen. But with various sources, it's for real.  Undecided

I did have the same impressions when i do able to see such news on Facebook about Durant being positive with Covid. Now the problem would be much worst
yet they would start to isolate or quarantine to those people who had been with him for past weeks for sure.

This problem is becoming worst as day passed by there are lots of people getting infected and it would surely takes time for NBA to resume out the season.
Actually my body is really missing out to see great games.

Get safe everyone!

Even if they find a cure right now, it will still take time to mass-produce and distribute it. It will really take time before the world will be back to normal.
But at least this will add confidence to people to go out because they are certain they'll not get infected again.

Even for let's say there's a cure that made right now, it won't give confidence to people to go out. The vaccine might kill the virus but it will not give an assurance that it also has a sort of immunity boost against it. It needs lots of time for a cure + immunity to be made. Therefore, being re-infected is always possible even they find a cure right now. Like I said in another thread, the term "Pandemic" is the highest level of spread meaning being infected has a high chance to happen even just for a few seconds of being close to the infected ones.

NBA is done this season. The number of virus-related concerns is still growing. Even all NBA players, staff or should I say, the whole USA will be a virus-free country this month or two, I think no one will have the guts to play alongside those reportedly infected players. The worries are always there. Not a disrespect but they just want to be safe.

No way they are coming back, people are dying right now, who cares about NBA, even if NBA wanted to comeback many players will want to just stay at home, lets face it guys, this season is over. We had years when the game count was low like lockout years but it was reverse, it didn't play the early days but than played later on, this is the reverse, we had teams playing 60 or whatever games and thats it, they won't play the rest of the season.

If for some miracle NBA comes back because corona is no longer a trouble in the next one month, that would be shock to whole world. How are we going to figure out a treatment for something in the next month and release to everyone and save all humanity all that quickly? I mean this is a cure, it could be find tomorrow or a year from now, thats not the point but finding the cure is not enough, you have to also cure people with it as well.

Nba is gone this year, we just have to accept it.

Euro 2020 just cancelled until next year, anyone still thinks this season will come back? I see absolutely zero chance we are going to have an NBA season where there is a virus going around killing people and infecting them very easily by as simple as hand shake and 20k+ people will be in the same place for it. No way we can get something like that any time soon at all, the closes is literally next season unless NBA wants to tie end of this season to start of next season and even that's doubtful.

Let's hope that 2021 season will be fine because by the looks of it thousands of people are dying, hundreds die every single day, if this speed continues there is a huge chance we will start to see a million infected one day, sure we did all we can but that risk still continues.

Even this athletes can take the bad effect of it.
Examples are family histories of bad sickness. Hereditary ones which may not be seen when you are still young.
Those are the most targeted of this virus which is not easy to prevent. You will just die without knowing that certain point of sickness is attacked.
I see...

Meanwhile: WHO considers ‘airborne precautions’ for medical staff after study shows coronavirus can survive in air

World health officials say the respiratory disease spreads through human-to-human contact, droplets carried through sneezing and coughing as well as germs left on inanimate objects. The coronavirus can go airborne, staying suspended in the air depending on factors such as heat and humidity, they said. Source

What about his buddy Rudy Gober, do we also have an update regarding his status?

Rudy Gobert posted a video yesterday.

You can see the link below
https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1239236522639077376

Let's see how this virus affects people because I've heard to one of my countrymen that lives in china and being lockdown there for a whole month that sometimes it takes 3 weeks or 1 month for the virus reflect, show some symptoms and health problem. Doesn't matter if it's true or not, hopefully, there is no bad things would happen to all affected.

Yes, because that is the maturity of the virus to make its full effect.
It may be near maturity if you are already having a fever.

Even this athletes can take the bad effect of it.

That was the best game of his career, I think there was no porzingis at that time, I check the box scored I did not see his name.
I haven't watch that game but I'd be interested to watch the replay now that we are lock down at home, thanks for bringing that here, I'll check how he did that.

You certainly would enjoy it. Yeah, there is no Porzingis at that day, which Rick Carlisle unleashed him to the bench and puts up a show that gave a smile to the fans that are watching, despite the terrifying COVID-19 update that is happening. It might be Marjanovic is there key weapon in playoffs, that's why they don't often use him at the regular season.

I would still not expect too much about him, his size is his advantage but it could be a disadvantage as well as he is slow, their opponent might be playing small like the Rockets who are still doing it until now. One game is not enough, we have to see some consistency here, we might know it when the NBA season comes back.
He's just tall imho but when it comes to mobility then i would also have doubt on that. 3's percentage isnt bad though but this tall guy can really do his job under the ring but i dont see for him to be the secret weapon of some sort for Dallas. Also the good transition or passes of Luka does really count and so as with other team members.Just amazed for him to have that 17reb and career high point.

Indeed this is one of the good news for the league, I wonder what he is doing in the Isolation room to kill his time.

Absolutely going around to online stuffs such as games, NBA 2K20...

Thanks, for the NBA they suspend the league early because if it went out of control, we can see every team has some positive case of Corona Virus. All we have to do now is to remain calm and follow every instruction our government told us, we need to be cooperative to stop the spread of this virus. I want to see some NBA game highlights again after this suspension, hopefully this epidemic will end soon than we expected.

In isolation but all the test with him are negative with fever, also, no symptoms.
I think he is also enjoying the isolation watching his highlights.  Grin
Smiling and looking pretty well.
We should still wait for more news. 14 days is still the maturity of this shitty virus.

Not everyone that is tested positive and isolated tend to have the syndrome. Some people are still normal but they do have the  corona virus tested positive. I wouldnt really trust the news nowadays, media tend to blow things up through some extensive writing about this kind of issue

Yes, I think the media has something to do with the panic, and most of the deaths because of the virus are elderly people, so athletes such as Gobert and Mitchell has a higher chance of survival. But it is really a good call by the NBA to suspend the games, everyone should also be careful so that the we can't get infected and do we hope that this nightmare will be over and we begin to normalised again.
Since theres no still cure for Covid then the only thing you can rely on is on your own immune system. We know the rate of recovery for those who do have healthy body and strong immune system.\
So theres no doubt that these players that had been affected would really recover for sure.I cant really blame much about media yet they are just doing up their job.Panic is always there yet
we know that everything had been messed up due to covid. Its a good news that those test were have negative results but as mentioned as long the 14 day period isnt over we cant still be sure.

This is certainly a good news, but also expected, as  huge majority of people either don't feel the symptoms or they are very light, barely noticeable. And since these guys are professional athletes in their prime, so it won't affect them much. If any.
I read somewhere that he is ok now in regards to  Gobert and all that situation, and that is incredibly important for Jazz team. In the end, they are professionals and grown up people, and it seems like reason prevailed.

That of course doesn't mean that we shouldn't  be careful and that NBA break wasn't the right call at the moment until we know more . Maybe isolation of those that are in the risk group would be better solution, and everyone else just continue with their business as usual, therefore continuing with NBA. It is a gamble though, and we are talking about human lives after all.

They only care about the impact for people to read the news but being responsible is no longer the focus of medias nowadays. Agree to you that things are no longer taking correctly as they are bringing more panics than to sort whate should be the correct information to help the government and the people itself to be more aware and relied with the right information.
