Dang! I didn't expect that Pelican can beat the Houston Rockets even [Rockets without Westbrook and Harden]. Now they won 4th in a row. If they managed to win last game vs Golden State they have now a 5th streak wins.

And Lonzo Ball doing something great on today's game.

Without Westbrook and Harden, they are the heart and soul of the team,  and they don't have capela as well. .
Pelicans just won because warriors is a crap team without these 3 starters, good for them but they didn't dominate easily.. they need to have a big run in 4th quarter to put this game away.

Good win by OKC in the first game tonight, OKC is really a different team now, they are underrated and they are good to compete even with good teams.
This win is lead by S. Gilgeous-Alexander who had 32 points and made a good play by just running down the floor in 3 seconds left in the game.

of course, as usual, this would not be possible without Chris Paul's great PG skills.

Are they becoming a threat already in the West now?

per ranking now, they are no. 7 but as long as they are in the playoffs, they should be an interesting team to watch.

Everyone is talking about how great bucks are and how amazing they are playing but do you guys realize that right now a team that lost on playoffs last season with an amazing record and the last MVP is just 3 wins away from MIAMI HEAT. I mean when did that happen? I know they added jimmy butler and he is a great player but dude is not a superstar that changes teams, remember his minnesota days? He had to get out of there very quickly, he requested a trade, Miami obviously is good thanks to him but we can't attribute all of it to him, he is "part" of the success not all of it. What they are doing right now is amazing.
I think Jimmy Buckets suits well in Miami Heat. Why would he want a trade? Their coach had a great plan on surrounding him a lot of guards and it really works that well. Even so they only have one big man in the court. On some cases they could run Herro, Dragic, Nunn, Butler and Bam. This team is really great. No wonder Dwade said that he wished this team existed last year.

You mean Jimmy Butler?  Grin

Well they operate like a team here and not a Jimmy Butler Miami lead team that's why they are very effective. And it seems the Jimmy understand his role very well as compare to let's say when he was in Philly, he shared the limelight with Joel and Simmons and most of the time they are in disarray.

No star player, they are just cohesive team play and that spell success for them currently.

There's little to love in awful, three-point-heavy NBA game of today

Basketball's version of the home run has transformed the game into an unwatchable mess.

I don't get how OKC is still this good? I mean they are at 7th seed right now when EVERYONE was expecting them to tank very hard and try to get some picks. Not even kidding these guys spent over luxury and had at one point Westbrook and Kevin Durant and got eliminated on first round, they also had Westbrook+PG13+Melo and they still got eliminated on first round.

Now, that Westbrook is gone and PG13 is gone and all they have is old Chris Paul and Adams, they are still looking like a first round exit team. It is a bit weird, if they knew they could have done this sooner, they probably would have just not pay that much money to superstars and be at the same level. Lets see if they can continue like this but I feel like this is not really want they actually wanted, they wanted a top 10 pick not a first round exit, so I am not sure even if they are happy with it or not.

Since Clippers lost to Jazz yesterday I'll now agree to those saying that Clippers is such an overrated team.

Anyway, Jazz having Jordan Clarkson is a great move by the management.

The Lakers lost to Pacers as well, they are underrated too. Rockets lost to warriors last Christmas. Good teams lose to lower-ranked teams, it happens. It doesn't mean their underrated, it is just one bad night.

And I think it is alright for clippers to lose. They need to know what they lack and they'll never know that winning.

And there's another factor to consider also, Gasol and Siakam are still both out.

Quote
Marc Gasol will miss a period of weeks with a left hamstring injury according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/29322/marc-gasol

Quote
Pascal Siakam (groin) suffered an injury in the fourth quarter on Wednesday and will be out indefinitely.

Ouch! That might be a sure win for the Thunders.
Out of good condition and then missing players.
Thanks for all your information. +3.5 might be enough for a good profit here.

Marc Gasol though is aging. He might have more injuries to come considering his height and weight too.
Siakam missed some games already but Raptors carried by Lowry still finding good games to win against their opponents. Though it seems that Raptors
might be tired and surely fatigue might attack them, Lowry needs some rest the coaching staff may limit him taking chances for OKC is worth the risk.

Not much of a good bet tomorrow.

Toronto Raptors - Oklahoma City Thunder +3.5 @ 1.80

That should be a good bet, Raptors although won against the Celtics but it's their 2nd game in two nights, they'll be tired for this while OKC is fresh.

I'm thinking of following your pick for the reason I stated about, and I will also add OKC moneyline.

Great thinking. I didn't noticed that though.  Grin
I just saw Oklahoma won against the Clippers last Monday and that is why I want to bet for this team.
Didn't think that they are well rested than the opposing Raptors.
Thank you for that.  Wink

That increases the winning chance. Although the Raptors fought quite well against the Celtics.

Luca Doncic has finally become a part of Jordan Brand. Jordan's initial agreement with Luka is not a Signature Deal which includes making a player's signature shoe. Although Luka won't have his personal Signature Shoe in the near future, it can turn into a bonus if he wins the NBA MVP or NBA Finals MVP. I'm really waiting for the signature shoes of this player, especially with Jordan brand

Whoa! So sudden!
His efforts now have fruits.
Now, he will have more money than other young players out there.
Being recognized like that with a Jordan brand is really something else. For me, he really does deserve it.
His next payroll might really get higher than what it is right now specially if he take the team to a championship bout.
Yeah, Jordan Brand shows its support for young players. previously the Jordan brand had also contracted Zion Williamson to join them. Even though Zion hasn't played in the regular season but because of the possible exposure obtained by Zion can be beneficial for Jordan brand

Speaking of Zion, well, a lot of people are expecting and I've read that he can still play this season, they are teaching him how to run and play so he can avoid injuries. Zion is slowly losing that popularity unlike the time he started as the first pick in the pre season. I just hope he can come back quickly, with Ingram, I think they can still do it at playoffs.

What's his previous brand though? I'm just curious. Anyways, this is an achievement already, being on the Jordan brand brings prestige, could be consider as bragging rights. But we all know that the kid deserves everything he is getting from playing basketball. I mean, his skills really gives up something for NBA fans all over the world. And he could be the next face of the NBA in the coming years.
Upon searching, when he is stil at Real Madrid he had a 2-year contract with Nike. After expiration he was seen wearing Nike, Jordan, even Curry 7 and Puma for practice. Not surprising since he is sneaker free agent before and had the opportunity to wear any brand. Good for him, his hardwork are really paying off. Even without ring and mvp, with his performance and one of the most talked basketball player in US. I believe it won't take long and he will have his own signature shoes.

He would definitely have his own signature shoes. And right now he should focus on improving his skills and resume for this future plans. Anyways, why hadn't any other brand offer him sponsorship? I mean if other brands will offer him to have his signature shoes, then maybe that might sign him for good.
