This is expected. Of course they are not the only one that has been affected. I guess all businesses and all employees on some other sector are nearly gain flat line when it comes to income. This isnt made the NBA players exempted from that.

We all tend to agree that players from NBA has a pretty good pay right? So I think they will agree to the terms as pertained but of course this should be on case to case basis approach.

Example:
Team Utaz Jazz are forced to do lay off on some of their non player staff, due to virus and lessen some compensation of their regular staff, who else would not follow through as the crisis eating too much money. As this event extended expect more teams to follow the suit of laying off.

NBA is having a hard time to make some solution with the financial crisis that is happening.
They need money flowing but there is none and yet they will still need to pay for the contract.

Woah, you really have said it just yesterday. That's very much the solution as they have been into expenses as well but without coming in for the cash flow. NBA players have made that much and it's ok for them because everyone is in bad situation.

What if someone didn't agree of what they are asking?

I remember KG more from the movie Uncut Gems. Damn good acting there.

Duncan though might give us some good speech. Let's see.

From this two left, I do agree that we should expect more words from KG as his personalities being that talkative hope there's a lots of good vibes out from his mouth, unlike Tim where every words are limited as he has this kind of attitude hopefully things will still be fine knowing that the virus are spreading and remembering Kobe, it will be an emotional awarding.

Don't take their plan literally. I don't even believe it will be pushed from the said target date. Again, it's just a plan and it won't be happening soon. Or maybe we can call it proposal.

We don't need to actually bring the topic about selfishness, doctors are needed, profits etc. Those proposed plans are tentative. I would understand if the whole reason why NBA wants to come back is to put butts in the seats so that people wouldn't go outside but I know in my heart 100% that the only reason why the owners would want to come back would be the hundreds of millions of dollars they are losing.

Do not forget that contracts are not voided, sure they are insured but for how much and how much of it does the owner get back, which means owners are right now paying hundreds of millions of dollars, a combined of billions of dollars together, just 30 people paying billions, plus penalties and so forth, and not earning one single dollar from it.

They want NBA to continue just because of that reason, they want to make some of it back, even if not all of them, they want to make sure they get a bit of return. That is not an acceptable reason to continue honestly, keep them at home and safe, let the billionaires suffer, they can take it, at worst they can sell their teams for billions of dollars and still profit from it.

They've got lots of testing kits that's why the numbers of existing cases are being reported, the figure are stating itself that there's no need to resume
right now but to continue the lockdown. The franchise owners need to comply strictly to prevent more damages especially with the players knowing that
even them who've got a healthy body are not exempt from this virus.

Looks like almost all players are cleared, I still think that NBA should not resume this year, they are already playing waaaay too many games, the owners are making players play 82 games at minimum and with playoffs a team could easily play 100+ games if they go to finals, or maybe 86 games at worst if they get swept in the first series. That is A LOT of games. What they could potentially do is wait this year out and just have a lockout season type of short season later on. I personally think each team playing each other 2 times is more than enough for playoffs. There are 30 teams, with 29 teams to face every team will have to play 58 games, that is more than enough if you ask me, make teams play each other twice and remove all of this division and conference things, just 58 games a season and even playoffs could be 5 game series for first two rounds and only go to 7 game series after that.

Yes, that is one factor.
They say 2 weeks before the virus matures.
So there is a chance they might get it from going back and forth Vegas and they would not even know.
They cannot just test them everyday since that will be a waste of those test kits and there are a lot of people who really need it by now.

Actually I am also scared going outside. Just doing the supermarket thing which usually my wife does makes we want to go home again after arriving there.
You could see a lot of people arriving and then inside it looks like there is no pandemic that is happening and employees are still talking casually.
It is just that, I have seen a lot of NBA rumors that they really want to have a winner so I make my own ideas.
