The Detroit Piston added some shooting power into their bench. Joe Johnson signed up with the team after a successful stint at Ice Cube's Big 3 league. The guy may be old but he can still shoot well. https://www.msn.com/g00/en-us/sports/nba/joe-johnson-signs-with-pistons-after-mvp-stint-in-big3/

Good addition don't you think?

Yeah, he is a good addition to Detroit. His experience is what Detroit needs. He is also a physical player who is not afraid for a physical game that fits the tradition of Detroit.

His last seasons in the NBA are not so impressive, but this guy averages 20 points per game during his days with the Atlanta hawks.
Let's see what he can bring to the table in his new team, I think he will fit with the Pistons as this is a defensive team.

I didn't even know he was out in the NBA, it's just that there are a new of new players coming in and out in the league but I can tell based on what I see, he can contribute with the team, his size his athleticism and his experience will be a great factor.

James got a high pride, I'm sure he will not be contented in the 3rd spot. Let's just see this upcoming season if he can take his sweetest revenge and lead Lakers to an epic comeback Grin.

For him to be rank number 1 again, he needs to beat the best teams in the west, and they will clash with Giannis which I believe he and his team will easily win the fight. Giannis though has become an MVP but he will never wins a finals MVP aware because he cannot take his team to the Finals, the management still rely on him this coming season so let's see how far the Bucks can go, I know it has an easier journey this coming season as he will not have to face Leonard again, and Durant is out for the nets.

but if you'll ask me, I like Leonard because he is a smart player, and he prove is a GOAT since he gave Toronto Raptors their first championship.
I'm also thinking the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I like Giannis as a player and no doubt he was so strong too but last season's champ is Toronto so Kawhi should be at the top. He deserve to get the highest recognition. Actually, the mere fact that he grind a lot to make an underestimated team like Raptors win the trophy (with his teammates of course) is already enough to call him the goat.
Lebron now is already ranked number 3, he is the king now, lol... Where's king James? Grin

Top 100 NBA Players of 2020

Can anyone guess who is #1?

https://www.si.com/nba/top-100-nba-players-2020#10-1

GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO was top 1 based on the link, my guess was Kawhi Leonard but the ranking is not bad because he is in top 2.
Maybe this ranking is based on its performance in the past season, and since Giannis is the MVP, he was ranked as top 1, but if you'll ask me, I like Leonard because he is a smart player, and he prove is a GOAT since he gave Toronto Raptors their first championship.

I guess this is something that is not new to all of us. We see great players got traded to different teams and some are traded by knowing in the twitter that they were traded. An example of a player that knew he was traded on twitter is Josh Hart.

That's the point!
Why they are still butthurt about what happened there in OKC when KD was traded. They have not much control over it. If Oklahoma doesn't want him out then they could do it by offering more.
GSW just welcomed him with open arms and so is the team.

Exactly, media putting up so many stories. Honestly, KD and WB are now settled for I think long-time now. Just look at this year's NBA All-Star, all are looking good between them and before that All-Star MVP trophy handed to Durant, they were seen having a moment. OKC fans should know the status between these two more than us here but I don't know why the hell they are still not moving on with that Durant issue.

But I guess that recognition for KD will not happen soon. He is currently again at heated conversation with those OKC fans peeps who don't know how to move on.

Yes, yes, yes!!! They are in good terms. They laughed and enjoyed the moment in All-Star. I guess it is really that much hurtful when they are almost to win a championship every time and still ending up short.  Grin I don't know what is the feeling but that is how I see it.

Best badass if he makes the Clippers team a champion too.
Yes, no one will hate someone who gave tou something great in return even if you leave them behind.

Yes they will be and it is also because of Mike D'Antoni kind of gameplays.
They do have a lot of chance but look at the Western teams roster now. It is fully packed with high caliber players, it will still be a hard fought game even if 2 MVPs are combined.

Kahwi and PG13 is one and a whole bunch of defensive players in Clippers.
Dont forget Denver, Lakers and GSW. They will need somw good strategy to avoid them in the first and second round.

This makes NBA more interesting for this upcoming next season. For all teams with duo’s superstar.

Clippers have Kawhi and Paul George.
Warriors have Curry and Thompson.
Lakers have Lebron and Davis.
Brooklyn have Kyrie and KD (but sadly KD can’t play this year.
Houston have Harden and WB.
Utah Jazz have Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell (I love Mike Conley he’s 3 points shot Smiley )
76ers have Ben Simmons and Embid (Dominate Offensively)
Portland have Lilard and McColum (both shows significantly well done avg. last season)
Milwaukee have Antetokounmpo and Middleton.
Denver have Jokic and Jamal Murray.

I can’t think who’s the best duo’s for every teams, but that’s my top 10 duo’s for this next season that will bring hot.

Okay let us put it at that way.
But I want to blame the media also for putting more coal in the fire of this arrogant and disrespectful fans.

They made stories which dont have anything to back it up and still the fans believe them. They are all just rumors and gossips. The players also believed it specially Westbrook.
It is just that NBA All Star where they made peace. I think KD explained it well during that time and Westbrook understood it suddenly.
They cannot talk well because of the media making up stories just according to what they see and not what is really happening on the locker room.

KD made it happen to be on the Finals and WCF. He should also have some part of that tribute.

That's not it. NBA cares also for the hype. Look at Bertans from SA. He was not included in 3-point shootout because they thought he will not create any impact on that competition even though he's a great 3 pointer.

Now that is their problem. Not all will be a Dirk Nowitzki like ending.
Durant may have felt that he cannot make anything happen when Westbrook was on his side.
For me, he did the right thing and so is now with Brooklyn.
Kawhi is more badass with three teams in 3 years. Grin

More badass because he gives Toronto their first championship but decided to leave the team after, I think the fans really likes him to stay but they respected him because he made history with the Toronto, I'm pretty sure if he will come back, he would still be offered with a maximum salary.

Talking about WB, he also realize that he can't win without an MVP caliber playing with him, so being with the Rockets now improves his chance to have a ring, and I believe he and James Harden are a good combo, it would be hard to one on one this player so they will be effective.

Best badass if he makes the Clippers team a champion too.

So I see no hate on Westbrook from the fans and I believed a tribute video will be given to him once he came back playing at OKC's homecourt. But other fans are just arrogant and disrespectful, to the point that their hate on Durant are now on the top level.

Oklahoma fans seems to not get over to what he did. Westbrook did.
Now, Westbrook is in Houston. Will they also get mad with him?

OKC is one of the dominant teams in the NBA during the time when Durant was there.

They reached NBA Finals in 2012 for the first time as OKC Thunder (former Seattle) although beaten by Miami Heat and almost beat the top favorite Golden State Warriors in 2015-16 Western Conference Finals although they literally blew their 3-1 lead. It's almost a little more push for the championship and fans hope that next season will be OKC's time to shine but unexpected thing happen as Durant force on a departure and shown not interest anymore playing for the team.

On the other hand, Westbrook got traded, same with Harden, with no intention of leaving the team. And fans already knew that Westbrook can't carry the whole team without a solid backup unlike when Durant was their main man. So I see no hate on Westbrook from the fans and I believed a tribute video will be given to him once he came back playing at OKC's homecourt. But other fans are just arrogant and disrespectful, to the point that their hate on Durant are now on the top level.

he even himself said he wanted to go to warriors and then come back to Oklahoma if people didn't treated him this badly but OKC fans lost Durant the moment they booed him like an enemy.

Well Durant is weak, he can't feel that way if he likes to come back as its normal for that fans to feel that way.
Lebron the best play of the Cavaliers and he started his career in the team but decided to leave to Miami Heat to achieved a championship, you know what the fans, did? They burn his jersey and that is worst than what the fans did to Durant.

But hey,,, what happen, he came back and the fans accepted him, he gave them a championship, now lebron gain a lot of respect even if he again transferred to another team. This prove that fans reaction are just temporary....

Why would Oklahoma fans get angry with Westbrook? He is on free agent so he has the authority to not sign with the team and go sign the other. It's business man, and its in the rules of the NBA and not just the players decide with that rules.

And Durant aint doing business?
It aint personal too. He is just doing his job with a little want to be a champion as a side dish. Also an MVP of course. He went to a right team because Steph really gave him way to make it happen.

You can't blame the fans, when Durant leave OKC, that's the same thing they felt but they also felt it with westbrook as fans really wants their player to stay if they like it. .

Now that is their problem. Not all will be a Dirk Nowitzki like ending.

There is a WHOLE difference between Westbrook leaving and Durant leaving. Durant left during FA and he went to warriors, that was his trouble, even if he left on FA but to a team like Nets then there wouldn't be that much of a trouble but dude literally went to warriors to have couple rings and then continue, he even himself said he wanted to go to warriors and then come back to Oklahoma if people didn't treated him this badly but OKC fans lost Durant the moment they booed him like an enemy.

Westbrook on the other hand has been sent to a better team so that OKC could start their rebuild, they have lost PG, they have lost Durant way before that, they have only westbrook and Adams left so the best case was get rid of westbrook and start to tank this year for some good picks and plan for the future.

Looks like he now saw the ugly side of NBA which is the truth.
Also, this aint just NBA fault but the media.
They keep on analyzing players and sometimes they go way under the belt.
They make rumors like they are truth and people believe it.
That is the problem for entertainers like him. He is a star so he became the apple of the eye.

Oklahoma fans seems to not get over to what he did. Westbrook did.

Although it's a part of the rules but fans can be triggered by wrong write-ups from Mass media's they can easily harmed the image of the players who's going to leave the franchise, it's how exactly what KD means there's politics who are influencing everything around this league, you need to adjust and follow the trend if you wanted to keep your fame and longing your stay to keep playing around.
