Let's take a break for serious discussions here at the moment. Smiley

It's really funny and I don't know if it's true that the scoreboard during the pre-season game between Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings is being censored on a live TV during the second quarter of the game to save the latter's a** from embarassment. What happened? The score is 45-10 in favor to Utah Jazz and it's just 9 minutes left on the second quarter.

I don't know what happened next.

Final score is 132-93 and Utah Jazz finished the Pre-Season game with a perfect record.

Have seen this one which is like viral?
What do the NBA management want to portray?
It is just an NBA preseason and it doesnt matter.

Now some NBA enthusiast will have questions every time they will do this kind of act.
They will need to be transparent even if the other team is being wrecked. It is not like a porn or something. They just didnt play better than the other bench players of the other team.

Funny things happen during pre-season.
Would you believe that the Lakers have a good chance of beating the depending champions? they just beat the warriors again today.
Lakers are 2-0 against the warriors during this pre season, looks good.

Lol. Its just pre-season dude. Its doesn't bring any thing when it comes down to the real games specially in the playoffs. It looks good in paper seeing the new Lakers defeating GSW but it doesn't bring any weight, imho.

Now that the pre-season games are over and there is what...3 days left before the regular season. Here is an interesting article I came upon yesterday.

It is also Bitcoin related, seems like we have someone who is really into crypto - Spencer Dinwiddie.

Has Spencer Dinwiddie Got a Deal for You

I must admit, I was somewhat supersized to hear that a basketball player is so good with this stuff. The last time I read about crypto and basketball was when Sacramento and Dallas decided to accept bitcoin payments ... but that didn't go well.

Anyway, it's a good read, give it a go!

Poor Sacramento Kings. Jazz play with bench players during second half but still managed to finished the game with 39 pts. lead.

There is no need to overreact on any preseason game however we can only see some slight improvements made by Ingram this off season, either by training or mentally getting better but dude seems to be attacking much better right now on preseason, if he keeps this up while playing with Lebron and be attacking and ready all the time than he can definitely have a spot at getting decent minutes.

I think rest of the teams are already known, rockets will do alright but get beaten by warriors, raptors Sixers and Celtics will fight it out between them and in the end warriors will win another ring and make it a three peat, if they didn't blow the lead they would have been a 4 peat winners which hasn't been done for a loooong time.

No one plays 100% in a preseason game. Lakers will not play lebron too much and probably won't play other vets neither, they just gonna abuse the minutes of players like hart and ingram and even maybe kuzma, they just want to see how the young players do during preseason and try some tactics and strategies against teams like warriors which would be west opponents if they face each other, which means we may see a new system for lakers but not 100% given by the players, so the result of this game would be futile. On paper warriors are still marginally better than lakers in every position except small forward which is damn close with lebron and kd positioned there.
I agree with this. The young players of Lakers will just be the one playing with most time here to prevent injuries on their veteran players. The vets will play definitely but it will not be as long as they play in regular season. They want to see how other players play so that they can adjust with their play. I think preseason doesn't play that much by vets because they don't want other teams see their strategy. Lakers are becoming better and better each year and the addition of these veteran players will make better and can compete to the playoffs.
They won't even show the total potential of their veterans but I disagree a bit with this. They will let the veterans play so they could test some of the plays that they have been playing and it cannot be denied that they are doing pretty well with some preseason games. It looks like they aren't just playing but they are serious with it somehow.

Yes. Have seen that too.
Looks like Lebron's influence gives a big impact to this veteran players.

As Rondo says:
"He's Probably An Even Better Leader"
And another:
"I played against him for 13 years now, but obviously I think what your hear versus what you see is a little bit different."

If this keeps up then their chemistry will grow stronger.
It is a different kind of game now. They have the goal to get that championship.

Of course it's a pre-season only which is done to take the rust off on the players game. Maybe we can see better plays come the regular seasons and the vets will surely dominate the floor most specially in the Lakers team.

Well, this is the time when players just take the games so lightly. It is like a warm up to them and a practice too for the upcoming season. With the pre season, they would be able to make plays that they can use. Also, they can also see how will they be able to create great offensive and defensive plans or strategies based on the games of each player. It is really exciting to watch the upcoming season when players are taking the games seriously.

Yup that is why we are seeing a lot of supposed to be weaker teams winning the game because they are really not making their game serious. In pre-season games we see more players with a bench role have more minutes as this is how the teams assess if they will make the cut or not. A lot of things can seriously change once the regular season started, all of the teams will up their game by that time.
Just like today, The Raptors beat the NOP with their starters not playing.
The Raptors are a good team but with Davis playing hard I think they can easily beat them, it's the NOP who's the favorites here but
they did not even compete in the 4th quarter that is why they were dominated.

Warriors are really giving other team to win, lol.
I like the Lakers with Lebron, I did not see the full game but saw the highlights, man they are a big line up, McGee is performing
and they are really working hard because Lebron take the game seriously.

Congratulations to the Lakers, hope they will be able to bring that A game in the regular season.

LeBron James only played during first half and sitted out the whole second half. Young cores like Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are showing a good performance this pre-season games. If they will maintained that kind of plays this upcoming season, Lakers fan can expect an unexpected event that they didn't see this past years.

On the other hand, Splash Brothers + KD are still deadly as usual. Their deadly shooting outside the rainbow area should again not be taken easy and as much as possible, must always be contested. Their starting Center Damian Jones got my attention not just on these recent game but on their previous pre-season games. I like to see how Kerr will able to utilized the potential of this young guy. If used properly, he might become one of the greatest defender in the league.

That game had 63 free throws! I hope regular season doesn't go along this way, I hate to see a game take this long, we are not watching nfl or something, this is nba, we love it because of the showcase players put up every night and not just want to watch people shoot 20 free throws a night.

One of the biggest reasons people do not like James harden because he tries to get fouled every night and shoot 20+ free throws a night. If this continues during the regular season I am pretty sure they will lose viewers and adam silver will get in and fix that and get it fixed.

This "less defense more offense" seriously started to be too much punishment for proper defending.

They should consider looking at how Harden is doing that kind of bait to get a free throw.
That is almost like an offensive foul for he is the one attacking the defender. True that is not entertaining to see. Somehow I am also in a bad temper when I see him does that kind of play.

It is dirty and not the kind of basketball that we want to watch. Just to get free points he would go that far and abuse the call since there is no rule for it.
Maybe when the referee is not calling that as a foul during the Finals against GSW is to teach him a lesson not to mess with the game.

Exactly, Lakers will just play with some bench guys and see how they perform. There could be new plays for the Lakers specially with Lebron but they won't display it and I'm sure that someone will take that position if they decided to try that play and see how it goes.

Of course Warriors is still the team to beat this season. They are better in every angle, but we love to see James and KD going at it again. hehehe.

Edit: Lakers won 123-113.
