houston rocket or boston celtics will win the nba finals 2018.
Why you can't see Raptors? They are the top notch on the Eastern Conference while Boston Celtics is only on the #2 spot.

im a cavs fan but cavs defense as of now is not that efficient
I think that losing Kyrie Irving is one of their mistake. Irving does plays well during his time with the team but now looks like he's a boost to the Celtics. Lebron can't carry their team anymore, a team that depends on one man is hard to win.
That is the disadvantage of losing a player to injury, your hope of going to the finals vanished instantly. Without Irving, the Celts will not go through the first round of the playoffs. Huh

Boston is a strong team with or without Irving? Do you think that Irving is the only one scoring on Celtics? Of course not, his teammates is strong, they just become stronger when Kyrie is playing with them. This is same on Michael Jordan time. People think that MJ is only one that made the bulls champion.

Raptors will be a different team in the post season, they might be the top seed in the east but they cant win a 7 game series against the Cavs. Just like last year when they touched the top seed once or twice and end up the same standing as the cavs, but was swept in the playoffs.  I dont see a potential threat that was added in their lineup.

Golden state is going to get hammered by Houston first round sice it has been officially released that Stephen Curry will miss the first week or two of the playoffs. Without him as their leader they are done for and as a motivational factor in this point in the season that is critical to have in the stretch of facing the best team in the entire NBA. Embarrassed

What are you talking about? Golden State is not facing Houston in the first round and I doubt they will lose it. I can make a wager if you think Golden State is getting blown away first round (without Curry). We can do escrow if needed.  Grin

If golden state warriors meet Oklahoma Thunders in the first round!

The golden state warriors may have a big challenge, and it's hard to win the battle without Stephen curry's warriors.

And Lebron James need to play with his strength? What do you think he's doing now? lol.

Im amazed at LeBron James performance recently.

Instead of noticing some slow phase in terms of his performance, looks like he is still on prime eventhough he is on 33. He is the only one now at his batch who can do that kind of performance until now and overall he is being compared to players at different season. If he will continued to be like that, Im seeing LeBron James will surpassed the no. 1 All-Time Most Career points.

Yes Im agree. He is already matched up with the prime players and still getting matched up todays on the new generation by some of the sports analysts.

LeBron vs. The Bad Boys of Pistons (The 2004 Championship lineup)
LeBron vs. The Wall of Orlando Magic led by Dwight Howard
LeBron vs. Strong Foundation of San Antonio Spurs (The Big 3)
LeBron vs. Kobe Bryant
LeBron vs. Kevin Durant
LeBron vs. Paul George
LeBron vs. Stephen Curry
LeBron vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo
LeBron vs. Ben Simmons and the rookies of 2017

any many more.... at his age of 33.

LeBron James is maintaining his healthy body properly that's why he is not an injury proned player.

I do think Utah will upset the Warriors first round but I do not see Boston getting very far either with Kyrie coming off of injury. He didn't play last week for the games I was watching the Celtics play.

That is possible if on the way the Golden State Warriors front players will not be present. Their bench squads have a chance to impressed Stever Kerr during their last meetup but ended up on a poor performance and didn't even gave a Utah Jazz a difficult way to win.

houston rocket or boston celtics will win the nba finals 2018. but boston wont be if kyrie irving cant return in 2nd round. im a cavs fan but cavs defense as of now is not that efficient and they need to learn how to rotate the ball like GSW and boston do, and lebron need to play in the with his strength and cuts down perimeter.  Cool

If you will based the Cleveland Cavaliers point of defense this season to what might happened on playoffs time then honestly it's pointless. Surely all teams will make adjustments on both offense and defense as usual once they are playing on playoffs.

It's impossible to happen, Houston (1) and will face Minnesota (Cool, Golden States (2) vs Utah (7) )This is somehow tentative. #1 vs #2 will never meet in the first round of Playoffs.

I must agree that Steph does contribute a lot to the warriors especially in leading the offense and leadership but don't you forget that KD and Klay are cleared to play in the playoffs. Though, Utah has a 2-1 record against the Warriors. Warriors must make a huge adjustment for this match up especially that Steph is out.
It's going to be a good match if it's gonna be the warriors and the Jazz in the first round, the warriors are a good team
but we cannot be confident they will easily win because the defense of Utah Jazz is the key here for them to make it a long series or even upset the warriors.

The Houston rockets in today once again defeated the New part that goes from the Pelicans, they have created a New record, the next game if we can beat the Atlanta hawks can be the first to reach 60 wins team!

James harden is sure to get the MVP!
Rockets is still an underrated team for this season but they are doing pretty well and I can't disagree with James Harden as a candidate for the finals MVP. Whether he get it or not I want to see them now play in the finals. I'm not a fan of them but they do really deserve a slot not only in the semis but in the finals. I hope that they will be consistent for the remaining matches until they reach the finals.

It's a great season for Houston with the new record of victories in the regular season.
Houston is deserving the first place in his conference.
I think Houston will arrive in the conference final against Golden State.

This is a breakout year or Houston and I wouldn't be really surprised if James Harden will be the MVP this season. Yes, they have some problems, but with Harden and Paul, they have overcome it and now becomes the top dog in the East. I'm sure that it will not be easy for them to reach the finals because the defending champion Golden State will try to do everything to stop them. Let's see how it goes into the playoffs, wherein we will see the true colors of the team and hope that they will not choke at the end. hehehe.
We cant conclude yet but rest assured it wont really be an easy thing beating up the defending Champion GSW.I agree and somehow expecting that Harden would be MVP on this season.Hes credible on such award but well all of us know on whos the one is the favorite ones on such award.I do somehow laugh when you do talk about choke in the end. Grin

It seems harden's game has been upping season after season though and after losing slightly to westbrook last year, there's a big chance he'll get thr mvp this time. I just don't want to look a loy further into the playoffs for the rockets since they've played well below par last year after having a good regular season. My eyes are more on the surging spurs now Cheesy
Harden will get MVP. And the Rockets will play the Warriors for the Conference Title. The difference this year is the fact that the Rockets will have home court advantage, the Rockets is the only team in the NBA in my opinion that can keep up with the Warriors when it comes to Offense. I wish we can see a Game 7 in Houston, will be a great game to watch.
There is no question that Harden will get the MVP this season but to conclude that only the Rockets can keep up with the Warriors, I don't think so.
I know there are a lot of teams that wants to win the championship but right now I am looking at the OKC Thunder because Westbrook is very competitive and it's a different atmosphere when it comes to playoffs.

We can say that OKC can be the dark horse here because of Westbrook and the full upgrade of the team as well. However, I don't think that OKC can either pass Houston or Golden State in the West.

James Harden is a shoo in for the MVP this year and Golden State has still strength even with Curry as they have still Kevin Durant.

So its obviously Houston-Golden State for the Western Conference finals and we will take the it will eventually raise the NBA championship trophy this year.
Majority thinks that it's going to be GSW and Rockets during the playoffs, I wonder what are the odds for either this team winning.
As a gambler, it's the time where betting is more fun because it's playoffs and games are more physical and serious, but I think there are teams
that are undervalued which offers a good odds, like the Portland TrailBlazers.
Who doesn't love to make bets specially on playoffs? As a gambler you wont really let this thing to pass and every playoffs I do really make bets specially on finals. This is really very entertaining and thrilling at the same time.I do agree that there are still teams which are undervalued but really offer a good odds which is worth to make bets on. GSW and Houston is already included in my betting list.  Cheesy

Im happy to see that the 76ers are on a 7 game winning streak and 1 game behind the Cavs for the 3rd place. Fultz finally came back for the team and he had a good game for just 14 minutes played. This 76ers team are young and I think they need a veteran player to guide them through the playoffs. They will have some cap space and it will be interesting to see who will they pursuit in the offseason. In the other side, the Cavs are 1st in Offensive Points since Kevin Love came back, finally seeing this Cavs team playing like they should, however the seed doesnt matter in the Playoffs, we know what Lebron is capable of.
Indeed, seems that the Iverson day will be seen again with this team, a young and competitive line up, the players is well balance and the coaching staff
are showing good blending, if they will acquire a veteran players that can provide them additional leadership then for sure we will seeing them keep competing with the playoff slot and then comes back to the finals again.
I do think they can get past the first round, but it will be too much for them in the second round because of their lack of experience. If the season ended today they will be playing against the Pacers, it could be an interesting series to watch, but 76ers should win this one. But we all know what team is coming off from the East.

As of the 76ers maybe they don't really need a veteran, this guys do not need a championship yet but they are going to the playoffs with young people. This experience will mold them for the next season, expect greater changes next year.
Speed is more of the game now, look at Portland and Toronto which are full of agile players. 76ers will need to contest that.
They do not need any point guard either since Simmons is there who can make plays. Another shooter from 3 point range will be a great help and the 2nd team also.

The Cleveland cavaliers, no matter how far east, are contenders for the eastern conference finals.

No one can underestimate the cavaliers, lebron James is the king of the playoffs!
