Im happy to see that the 76ers are on a 7 game winning streak and 1 game behind the Cavs for the 3rd place. Fultz finally came back for the team and he had a good game for just 14 minutes played. This 76ers team are young and I think they need a veteran player to guide them through the playoffs. They will have some cap space and it will be interesting to see who will they pursuit in the offseason. In the other side, the Cavs are 1st in Offensive Points since Kevin Love came back, finally seeing this Cavs team playing like they should, however the seed doesnt matter in the Playoffs, we know what Lebron is capable of.

What a loss of GSW 91 over 110 of UTAH without their key player on the floor because of injury. If I were the GSW coach or owner. I would choose not to allow my starter to play in their remaining games to become 100% healthy in playoffs. They have secured a playoff spot so would be better for them to rest and avoid getting injured again.

Or the injuries could be just reasons for this players to rest. A good strategy for both the management and the coach. It could also give some game time for the second team to get some more courage before the playoff comes.
Boosting all their confidence will be a great help when they are needed in the playoffs. They have to be aggressive at all times and not let their guard down.

But the only problem with that strategy is that if you bench your best player, some of them might lose their winning form and momentum that's why coaches need to find a good balance to inject them in the game and then rest them if the game is on their side or if they don't have the chance of winning.

As for the lost, Utah takes advantage of GSW situation and its good to see them pull a win. Bad timing though for GSW to have so much injury at this point, coming into the playoffs.
The warriors will not loss it's winning form, they know how to win in the finals as they love to compete.
It's okay to lose because it's not important for them anymore, they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs already and even if they will not have
the home court they can still win because we know that this team is full of big talents.

The Houston rockets in today once again defeated the New part that goes from the Pelicans, they have created a New record, the next game if we can beat the Atlanta hawks can be the first to reach 60 wins team!

James harden is sure to get the MVP!
Rockets is still an underrated team for this season but they are doing pretty well and I can't disagree with James Harden as a candidate for the finals MVP. Whether he get it or not I want to see them now play in the finals. I'm not a fan of them but they do really deserve a slot not only in the semis but in the finals. I hope that they will be consistent for the remaining matches until they reach the finals.

It's a great season for Houston with the new record of victories in the regular season.
Houston is deserving the first place in his conference.
I think Houston will arrive in the conference final against Golden State.
We can't deny on how they are playing well for this season and this only means that Houston is one of the best and great contender for this season. In western conference it can be a possibility that it will be against Houston against Golden State Warriors and I guess there's a need for a new team to take over the finals championships. Cavs aren't playing good for this season and many hopefuls that started to become disappointed because of their standing especially their fans.
I think it's more exciting this coming playoffs because fans are already speculating that it would be the warriors and the rockets which will
face each other in the west finals, I think it's really a good series, it's like an NBA Finals because based on their record, they are both tough teams.
It's exciting because there will be another team that can possibly make it to the finals. But we are all overwhelmed and speculating that much, there is still more time to see some actions and there can be a change of wind so still it's early to say this but speculations are speculations and we can't help ourselves by giving those opinions.

This is a breakout year or Houston and I wouldn't be really surprised if James Harden will be the MVP this season. Yes, they have some problems, but with Harden and Paul, they have overcome it and now becomes the top dog in the East. I'm sure that it will not be easy for them to reach the finals because the defending champion Golden State will try to do everything to stop them. Let's see how it goes into the playoffs, wherein we will see the true colors of the team and hope that they will not choke at the end. hehehe.
We cant conclude yet but rest assured it wont really be an easy thing beating up the defending Champion GSW.I agree and somehow expecting that Harden would be MVP on this season.Hes credible on such award but well all of us know on whos the one is the favorite ones on such award.I do somehow laugh when you do talk about choke in the end. Grin

It seems harden's game has been upping season after season though and after losing slightly to westbrook last year, there's a big chance he'll get thr mvp this time. I just don't want to look a loy further into the playoffs for the rockets since they've played well below par last year after having a good regular season. My eyes are more on the surging spurs now Cheesy
Harden will get MVP. And the Rockets will play the Warriors for the Conference Title. The difference this year is the fact that the Rockets will have home court advantage, the Rockets is the only team in the NBA in my opinion that can keep up with the Warriors when it comes to Offense. I wish we can see a Game 7 in Houston, will be a great game to watch.
There is no question that Harden will get the MVP this season but to conclude that only the Rockets can keep up with the Warriors, I don't think so.
I know there are a lot of teams that wants to win the championship but right now I am looking at the OKC Thunder because Westbrook is very competitive and it's a different atmosphere when it comes to playoffs.

We can say that OKC can be the dark horse here because of Westbrook and the full upgrade of the team as well. However, I don't think that OKC can either pass Houston or Golden State in the West.

James Harden is a shoo in for the MVP this year and Golden State has still strength even with Curry as they have still Kevin Durant.

So its obviously Houston-Golden State for the Western Conference finals and we will take the it will eventually raise the NBA championship trophy this year.
Majority thinks that it's going to be GSW and Rockets during the playoffs, I wonder what are the odds for either this team winning.
As a gambler, it's the time where betting is more fun because it's playoffs and games are more physical and serious, but I think there are teams
that are undervalued which offers a good odds, like the Portland TrailBlazers.

Funny I didnt finish this game. I already knew the outcome from the start.
Pelicans cannot even get near the points that Houston have. It wont even go below 10. It is just too overwhelming to them. They should really focus on their defense now.
This guys when have too much offense and you will need to be in focus before you can change the flow of the game.
Harden eats one team again, shooting at a 4 point range with consecutive shots.  Grin

Does somebody know if Antetokounmpo will play tonight or no? Either way, I don't think they will have any problems against unmotivated Bulls who will most likely be tanking for the rest of season.
Funny thing I was just looking at the Bulls last 10 games and they haven't won too many games.
They the worst team there is right now with only beating Memphis twice and that team has only 11 wins this season.
The Bulls definitely need to do something in the offseason or hope they get a good draft pick so they can have another Jordan like player again to bring it all back to Chicago. Because right now they are the joke of the league.

Yeah, you are right. It's sad to see one of the biggest franchises in the history of NBA. Btw, how do you comment Grizlies who lost by 61 points to Hornets who btw don't have chance to win Play-off spot??? Just LOL

They are on a rebuilding stage and eventually they can find a good players that would help the bulls to become a threat again.
Every team has their time, look at the Sixers, they are consistent to be non performing for many seasons but now they are already battling
in the coming playoffs, and not only that, they have become a threat on the way they played now.
Bulls produce the best basketball player of all time, not sure what happen to this franchise after trying to be a competitive team with Drose before,
can't see the reason why they can't find good selections of players, or they are just not the same management before who can really scout players
and knows how to build up the players together with the coaching staff.

Well its very competitive out there, not only the players side, but in the back or front office as well. The management really needs to find the perfect team before achieving championship level and it seems they are still looking for it.

Look at how Golden State did, they advanced to their first NBA finals since 1975 in 2014-2015 season. So it like 40 fucking years before getting the correct pieces together. Hiring Kerr and then making Steph Curry that player that he is today.

They were even told they can not "throw" their games any more from the owner of the team as they obviously were not even trying in a game last week.
If that doesn't show anyone they are just coasting it right now because their players are in a dismal place right now. No leader for the team.
Bulls confidence for the franchises future is dead right now.

Stephen Curry a star player on his own Warriors team is out with a leg injury from tripping over his own team player when trying to come down with the ball in the Hawks game Friday night.
Heard about it Saturday night and that was the diagnoses so do not know at this point if he will be in the start of the playoffs or not.
If he isn't, then you know the Warriors are dead in the first round.
That is their leader and shows you how important having a leader and star player to an NBA franchise and is also to an entire team and where the team's headspace is for winning games.
