They’re saying Ja Morant is out for the season with his injury now. Ouch. The dangers of making a star athlete sit idle for so long… It’s quite possible he’ll never be the same after this and it’s very likely the result of his suspension. Not the greatest look for the NBA.
What bad news, Steve Adams was also injured and now Ja Morant was also injured, what a bad time for the Grizzlies, anyway, I hope they make a good recovery and return as soon as possible.

Talking about injuries, was the hamstring injury that Tyrese Haliburton suffered was something serious? Any update?
That's sad, the shoulder injury could affect his shooting and since he is a very aggressive player, he could be prone to injury. I hope the injury isn't that bad though, but it's a season ending injury. I can't believe we will lose another entertaining star this season, now the Memphis are done.

The news about the injury.
Grizzlies star Ja Morant to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery after tearing labrum at practice
To be fair, he isn't the type of player that is known for his lethal shooting, a broken hand for Herro seems like a worse deal and he came back, so I am sure that Ja would come back too, I think a knee injury or an ACL would have been much worse for him, a shoulder one doesn't feel like that terrible for him.

He is also one of the more athletic players in the league right now, a high flying super fast player, and I think he is young enough that he could continue his career like nothing happened. If he was 30 years old or more, then it could have been a problem, but he is young enough to overcome this easily. This should be the main reason why Grizzlies will suck this season, but next year they have a chance to comeback much better.

That is a good point that it wasn't a knee injury so it's not like he couldn't possibly come back and be his old high flying self.  My concern is that he is a young guy, still learning and getting better.  Being out this long will certainly have a negative effect on his skills and with his off-court habits he could get completely out of shape.  With so much of his game relying on his athleticism and that only getting worse as he ages, being out this long could be the difference between being the most athletic player in the league to being on par with everyone else, only way undersized.  I hope he has people around him making sure he's keeping in playing shape.  If he got injured after missing a couple dozen games, imagine how bad it could be when he comes back after a year.

Yes Clippers have a mega stars team but still the Clippers, until i dont see them winning something i dont trust in them, they are like a cursed team, and plus allways when you have so many stars in sometime you always start to see ego fighting between them, so i dont see them reaching any final.
Good luck with your prediction though.

For me, I think the Clippers had already figured out how to play with the right chemistry, they have the stars and are winning games now, so we can see that it's a positive development of a team that is full of superstars. Yes, they haven't reach the finals yet, but they'll try to make it one step at a time, last time they were only able to reach the WCF, it's just unfortunate that Leonard was injured that time, because if he was healthy, I'm sure they'll be the one that would play the Bucks back then and could potentially beat them.

Now is the best time for Leonard, as long as "Harden, PG, and Westbrook" are healthy, for me, they are the team to bet.

I don’t know if I’d call them the team to beat but they have been playing great lately. After a rocky start they seem to have quickly figured out how to make it work. If they can continue to improve and maybe bolster their bench a little bit, they have a shot at a deep playoff run. I think they’d still struggle against the Bucks or other teams with big superstars though.

Both injuries can lead to a change of direction of these two young stars, hopefully both of them can go back with the same instinct in playing
the game, though with the help of the newest technology they can be treated.

It's really tough for both teams they are being carried by these two young stars, the productions and the presence of both Morant and Haliburton
bring the team to another level of game play, without them both teams will struggles.

Heat was better even without Jimmy Buckets. Balanced first half but Heat took control in third quarter. Herro and Adebayo did the job well.
Their roster has depth and they can play together so Jimmy's absence isn't felt that much but I don't think the team is better without him. Bench players like Jovic or Highsmith can fill his position from time to time but nobody can do it consistently. Even Robinson couldn't.
Exactly, we've seen how Jimmy carry the team when it's needed and tbh he's really different when playoffs is coming. The good thing about their depth is that it's versatile and their are lot of role players they can count on plus Coach Spo is a better tactician

The Clippers on the other hand are already back to winning games again. They defeated the Phoenix Suns in a manner where you could really tell that they are a strong team. 138-111. A true show of their offensive power. If these guys can keep themselves healthy until the playoffs, there's a chance the Clippers will finally get a championship. The rotation of Coach Ty Lue is perfect, the pairing and combination make every player better and the ball is rotating better too. No one got a 30 pointer and they are more balanced.
Even Lebron commended on the way Coach Ty Lue is managing the Clippers and they really figure it out now. Will not doubt the championship thing considering they are a championship contender already in the moment but let's hope they'll get healthy especially when playoffs come because that's when shit happens on this team.

It became clear that the losses in the Lakers were psychological.
Los Angeles Lakers, who lost four of their last five games, beat a team like Los Angeles Clippers by 106-103.
The Clippers were definitely the clear favorite in the match, but the Lakers won and got a surprise victory.
The Lakers will play two more games at home on Wednesday and Friday and will face Toronto on Wednesday. Toronto will be the favorite in the match. Because Toronto's away statistics are considered good. If the Lakers pass the Toronto hurdle, we can comment that the team is starting to form again.
I was surprised. They lost against weak teams and yet won against the strong Clippers. If you look at the statistics of the whole game the Lakers are also losing. Their turnovers are high at 19 while 14 only for the Clippers. They also lost at three-pointers and assists but they won the game by points in the paint. I think the in-season tournament championship just got on their head. It's time to win games again.

How about the Utah Jazz? They won 2 consecutive games now. They have a healthy roster and they are trying to get back on the map. If they can manage to continue this into a streak then they might position themselves to the number 8 and steal it from either the Rockets or the Suns.

Utah has been performing very well in the last ten games. They have lost only twice in the last ten matches and will now play six matches at home. If they win all six matches, they will easily come to the seventh and eighth places.
Utah shows us the best example of team play. There is no basketball player on the Utah team that I consider to be a star, or rather I have never heard of before.
From now on, I will keep a close eye on Utah. An important team in betting games in my opinion.

So true! I didn't have any hope for Utah playing away games but lately this team is on fire no matter who they play. Last night it was the perfect example of why Utah is a top team right now and by all means , they barely played in Q3 because if they were serious in that quarter , the score would have been over 40 for them against Bucks.

Also , I must mention Suns as well because this team is way overrated right now and I think a split might be upon them.

Have you noticed the Eastern Division standings? 21-15 record from 4th to 8th place hehe. The playoffs is going to be more competitive in the East this season.

Wow! That's a tie. An Eastern conference that was boring before is not very exciting already. This starts when Durant transferred to the East and the Celtics gets better, also lost of teams in the East now gets better, so I can say that we are having a balance league now. Before, during the all star weekend, usually the West Wins as they have most of the individual talents and good teams.

Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s development is going pretty good. He plays as he isn't drafted from 18th but top 8.
This is probably the result of completing college basketball before entering the NBA. The foundation is already there.

The Grizzlies are truly in a miserable condition upon knowing the medical report of Ja Morant having a shoulder injury that will sideline him for the entire season. We are hopeful that the injury does not have a career effect on the performance of Ja Morant. What I am aware of is that an ACL injury can end a career. The fate of the Grizzlies this season is blurry. They are done. They are a terrible team before the comeback of Morant, and they are again in the same condition.
Even at the start of the season, they are in bad shape as Morant has been suspended and Jackson and Bane can't carry the team. But when he did come back, they won several games, close game and Morant provided the spark and we thought that they are back in business.

Another frustrating report is the injury of Tyrese Haliburton. The official results of his MRI, which he will undergo, are being awaited. The Pacers are defeating the best teams of the league led by this multitalented point guard and a serious injury is a big blow to them.
Pacers won against the Boston Celtics without Haliburton, but it could be a bad sign for them as he gets injured. Let's see the MRI, hopefully it's not that worst as we expected. Although if I'm not mistaken, Harden has this kind of injuries before but he come back after that injuries and looks fine.

They actually bet the Suns on the road without Durant, however, I'm not sold with that though. I think I will agree with you, I'm not expecting anymore that they will make it to the playoffs, or even in the play-in as Morant is the heart and soul of the team.

I hope he will be fine though, just a sprain ankle and that he could come back. Pacers having a great season, with their standing and the trend so far, they will likely make it to the playoffs. So just like Morant's impact to his team, Hali also has a big impact.

Quote
Ja Morant’s season is over.

Morant sustained a torn labrum in his right shoulder and is set to undergo season-ending surgery in the coming days, the Memphis Grizzlies announced on Monday night. Morant sustained the injury in a training session on Saturday, the team said, and an MRI confirmed the injury on Monday.
This injury will not only affect Ja Morant shooting but also his gameplay, more likely affecting his ball handling. It looks like what happened to Derrick Rose's basketball career might also happen to Ja Morant but the difference is Rose already won an MVP. Ja Morant season ending injury is a setback for the Memphis Grizzlie playoff hopes this year. It's disappointing when a key player gets injured. Hopefully the team can still perform well despite Ja Morant is out again.

It's really sad to hear this kind of story, specially on such athletic player like Ja Morant as he has to suffer a season ending injury. Although it's not in his achilles as this is more prevalent on players that jump high and then go down awkward, still it's a injury that can really affect him.

So we can only hope that he can come back next season fully healed so that we can witness Morant in his still prime years. And again, expect him to be back strong and think that his injury will not bother him.

Yes, that's true... I even dare to say that currently Lakers are an underrated team, but they could surprise everyone as i said before, I could even include the Warriors, but I believe that this NBA season the Lakers have a greater chance of making the playoffs than GSW.

They can really surprise everyone with their teamwork and they proved it against the Red Hot Clippers by beating them in a fair game. If only they could not lose some more games after this one, their chance to reach the NBA playoffs could rise, and Yes! they have a greater chance of making it than the current GSW today and now that CP3 is resting because of injury, they cannot get any more chances to win unless they will gonna come up with a working plan with their other bench player but as we know GSW dynasty on championship has already ended this season because of the way they are playing.
The Warriors dynasty ended years ago... I believe these are all phases, when Durant joined the Warriors, they became a super team, but slowly they dissolved, Durant left the team, Curry's and Thompson's performance was decreasing year after year and now GSW has this problem with Draymond Green...
Well, I believe that the Warriors need to reformulate themselves and adapt to this new reality to continue to be a competitive team and achieve a seed in the playoffs.
GSW's next game will be against the Pelicans, it will be a difficult game, but I have no doubt it will be an interesting game to watch.

It's really unpredictable as Klay is no longer consistent and without his production, most of the time they are losing the game, adjustment is needed
for this squad as most of the team are really competitive and capable in beating them.

No more dominance as even how hot Curry will be, without the good support from everyone it is still not enough in winning the game.

Not sure about the trade rumor for Wiggins but if ever that trade is true, they should hire a good 2-way player like him, someone who
can easily adopt and adjust with what role the team needs him to play.

Adjustment is really needed here and Kerr should not rely on his old cores since he's young players is doing better that's why he should give more decent minutes to those players who give more better performance on that game so that they can perform more better and get quality contribution. And if they feel that a player is having a bad day then lessen their minutes even if they are the star of the team so that they will not create a huge mess.

Kuminga is disappointed on their last game because of what happen in the game so to avoid getting this feedback to his players he need to adjust and do proper rotation on his players so there's no frustration will happen since this can lower down their morale.

They have to do something because if they don't, that's going to make them stagnant and will stay on their rankings forever. But I think Kerr will have to think of another roster on how they're going to be better by the next season. Just leave this season as is because they've been there at the bottom when Durant left them.
