Finally the NBA made the right decision for Draymond Green.
Draymond Green’s suspension is good for everyoneIt was fairly shocking on Wednesday night, when the NBA announced an indefinite suspension for Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. I had anticipated a fine and probably a one-game suspension after Green struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face on Tuesday, resulting in a Flagrant 2 foul and an ejection in a game the Dubs would lose by three points.
He's on indefinite suspension and it's not certain when he'll come back, but most likely it will a long period of time.
He'll be back for sure, it's just an indefinite suspension and the NBA management should done better with that decision. This isn't the first time that Dray did that to another player, good thing that Nurkic doesn't hold a grudge on what he did. If it's other players that are too hot to handle, well, it's gonna be a war.
What's better with indefinite suspension is, a total ban and that's for sure going to suffice all of the mistakes that he has done for all of these years with all of those intentional physicalities he did to other players.
Now, the Warriors will defenitely struggle on their defense without him as they were playing a small ball when Draymond is a significant player for their success, without him, their playoffs hope might be done this season.
They have to suffer the consequence of his actions and I guess that even if it's an indefinite suspension, they don't have that much pool on their bench players to replace him with his role.
