Too many transfers that just happened within a short period of time. What team is still needing some buff for their roster? I am no longer impressed with powerful trios.

We have seen that many of these teams didn't find glory with that type of roster. It's still depending on their teamwork and just as what everyone is saying, about their chemistry.

Exactly, it depends on the teamwork of a team, but people are expecting to win a team that has a good roster as teamwork can be built along the way. Just like Kyrie Irving, he had his first game and they were the underdog against the Clippers and yet they won the game. That simply tells that Irving is easy to play with, he makes his teammates better and feels confident on the court.

Watch out when Luka returns, I'm sure they'll be a better team with good chemistry.

Holy shit! I’m hearing about the Durant news and this is crazy. The Nets traded him for basically nothing! This has got to be a rent a Durant situation. When Booker comes back this team might be the best in the league. If Ayton can play like he’s capable of they should win it all this year. I can’t believe what a steal the Suns just pulled off. Gonna have to grab myself some tickets.

They want to take advantage of their current situation this season because there are possibilities that they will gonna be knocked out again if they don't add some star players to their team. Currently, they are number 6 and if they gonna get well with KD in their rosters, they will gonna improve it more since they are now having more players that are capable of helping them get to the NBA finals again.

Any team who will get Durant will surely become a championship team. Durant is one of the best players in the NBA now, he could be number 1 if he was healthy, unfortunately, he is prone to injury now. However, if he gets traded with the Suns, I think Durant will not have to carry all the burden as he has Booker who is also a scoring machine, which he can rely on.

Still all matter depends on his teammates since they didn't work together with his old star teammates. They have Irving and Harden way back then plus Simmons has been added but it end up not good because his star teammates became liability to them since they are not cooperating as a team. But since he is paired up now with Booker and CP3 maybe this will be different since CP3 can have two option to pass the ball since he have best shooters in team to rely on.

So , the NETS golden era has come to an end , ha ? Well , it should be a surprise for anyone if you ask me , as it was clearly from the start , that Nets trio of stars won't work as long as you don't find someone who can make them understand that they have what it takes to win NBA championship and unfortunately , Irving didn't understand , Harden didn't it either and it was left all on Durand who really had desire to make some great performance with Brooklyn.

Meanwhile , Mavs are in a row and Irving should better pay attention because Luka won't forgive bad plays and ego play-style no matter who you are and where you come from.

Yeah, it was a failed mission, they were so optimistic that they'll make a championship team when they have Durant, Irving, and Harden in one team, but it didn't happen, they did not even reach the NBA Finals. Now, individual stars are looking for a team that has a potential of a championship run, and with Durant getting to the Suns, it should not be hard for them to reach the NBA finals.

I wouldn't call it a golden era though, they didn't even win a champion or move to the finals with their big lineup of Durant, Irving and Harden. The real winner will be the Suns, as they kept CP3, Booker, Ayton and then Durant.

Meanwhile , Mavs are in a row and Irving should better pay attention because Luka won't forgive bad plays and ego play-style no matter who you are and where you come from.

This is going to be interesting and I think everyone will agree that this marriage might not work out in the end.

Given how Durant didn’t much effective on Nets I think this deal is very solid for both team but I would say that Nets benefits the most in the long run due to the 4 first round pick which Nets can used to build a strong team in the future like Warriors did. Nets trio is not even show some good result though so I guess their golden days is not really as it is since the team is just pure hype.

Meanwhile , Mavs are in a row and Irving should better pay attention because Luka won't forgive bad plays and ego play-style no matter who you are and where you come from.

Let’s how these two player reacts when they are on tight situation. I guess their will be more bad blood fight between Suns and Mavs due to the recent trade news of KD.

Nets, Suns Agree On Kevin Durant Trade
The Suns will acquire Kevin Durant from the Nets in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, four first-round picks and more draft consideration, tweets Shams Charania of The Athletic.
https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2023/02/nets-suns-agree-on-kevin-durant-trade.html

I'm quite sure that the Lakers can't afford that kind of trade because they doesn't have that much luxury anymore to give four 1st-round picks and a swap pick, and then giving away 3 players. But at least, Durant was traded to his preferred team as that's what he said last season.

Well, this time the Suns has a great chance of winning a championship. They mess up their chance before, but with Durant now, I believe they will b a better team. They have a great point guard who can also shoot, so having Durant and Booker will make them a very dangerous team.

The video going around showing Anthony Davis sitting down and not caring about LeBron breaking the record and then later LeBron on the bench telling a visibly disturbed Davis that he loves him, only to be seemingly rebuffed has me starting to believe a KD for AD trade with the Nets is a possibility. Could one of the biggest trades in NBA history be happening in the next 24 hours? Starting to appear possible.

Yes mate, I happen to see that picture while I was scrolling in the web earlier and the funny thing is, I read this one comment saying, "he's just giving himself some safety because if he jump and jump cheering for LeBron making another history, he could've tore his ACL and will leave the Lakers in dismay again". Grin

I don't know what's up to him for making that kind of face without any sign that he's proud with his teammate achieving that kind of milestone, surely, that face tells me that he's more of a hater than a believer. And regarding about the trade, here's what happened.

Honestly, that gives me curiosity as well if Kryie Irving was just trying to be relevant or what because every now and then, he repeatedly ask for a trade before his contract expires even after the fact that he said himself he will stay on the team. But maybe this time, Kyrie will stay as long as he will get what he wanted because there's no question about his talent, really and surely, the Mavs management can do that for him and provide extension if his performance is needed by the team.
It happens from time to time and it's not just him that did that if we're about to recall those trade requests we might see some others did that in the past as well. Hopefully that he stays longer in the Mavs, any team he goes to, they're all good and it's just up to him how they'll share the same chemistry.
Going with the most recent win of OKC, Lebron's history made as an all-time scoring leader was noisier than their win. Goat or not for some fans, can't deny the fact that he has made and broken history. Congrats to him!

It's of my opinion that Kyrie is an attention whore and a lot of this crap he does is simply for that attention/staying relevant.  There's no question he's one of the greatest players in the game, as well as one of the greatest players of all time..but I can't stand the guy personally.

Definitely congratulations to Lebron breaking the all time scoring record last night!  I used to be a Lebron hater (as a Chicagoan who got sick of people calling Lebron the goat) until I realized I should be appreciating his excellence instead of hating on it.  He was certainly bound and determined to break that record last night!

I truly share the same sentiment with you on that, man. This Kyrie Irving is really making some headlines from time to time, and these days, he's making it yearly even if his image is becoming negative. But for his talent? Pretty much he's been hated but his skills on the hardwood is very reliable and without a doubt hard to guard.

But for the GOAT of his own era, the man, LeBron James, congratulations! I'm glad that I'm able to witness his greatness ever since he was drafted to the Cavs up until now in the Lakers, still making a history.

I woke up early yesterday to watch LeBron's record live, couldn't sleep much last days anyway. It was also good for distraction. We witnessed history. I don't know when will we see a moment like that again.

Yeah, we witnessed history when Lebron James passes Kareem all time scoring record and he is still going strong. We don't know which record are going to be broken soon.
That was it, it was a history and I think it will not be broken easily as Lebron is still playing now, he will get more points which will be hard for the active players now to surpass.

Funny part is Lakers lost all games when LeBron past other topscorers. This didn't change in last game as well. I wish his team was more competitive but I guess they wouldn't even go for play-offs this season.

OKC will be in infamy with this one,  Grin they beat the Lakers when Lebron broke the record, spoilers.
They are just doing their job, they cannot just give that game to the Lakers as they are also looking for a chance to be in the playoffs. Actually, OKC are doing better, despite this team being an underrated team, but they are winning some games which we don't even think they can.

Not really a rent a Durant when his contract is until 2026.  Grin

But yeah, let's see where he wants to go next if this doesn't work out. Definitely a steal for the suns.

LeBron James breaking the record was the biggest event in the NBA in recent times, and they celebrated it with a good organization. It was interesting that such a ceremonial celebration was held while the game was still going on, and I think we can only see such a thing in the NBA. I don't know much about stopping and celebrating such a match in competitive games.
I don't think this record will be broken for a long time. It's not easy to play with such active and high-level statistics for 20 years. LeBron James really deserves all the respect. Congrats!
That's mad respect for the OKC as well for giving the way for Lebron's celebration despite the game was theirs. It took someone for 40 years until Kareem's record has been broken. We will see the next generation breaking that record of his, who knows if it's one or two of his kids soon should they pursue their NBA career. No doubt that the genes of their father is on them and such athletic body and physique is certainly on them now, it's just going to depend on how they're going to use and maintain it.

That Westbrook news is something. I honestly think Russell Westbrook can still play at a high level. He seems like he’s just going through some things. I’m not sure how much better that trade will make the Lakers, but we’ll see.

Kyrie winning in his debut with the Mavericks without Luka is a good sign for them. It will be interesting seeing them on the floor together.

We’ll see. It seems like there is too much talk about something happening for nothing to happen, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Still, I’m on high alert for something big in the next 24 hours. The only troublesome part is that there are so many rumors, you don’t know what’s real and what is wishful thinking. No matter what happens though, I’m pretty sure Durant won’t be suiting up in a Nets uniform next season.
Yeah, that last part I am sure about. Phoenix Suns seem to be part of the rumor too. The new owner might want to make an explosive entrance and they may want to give everything to get KD except Devin Booker.
15 more hours. That's a lot of time and anything could happen in that time span, especially before morning when news will come out. I bet all reporters will try to stay awake as any movement is possible.

How about this one? Russell Westbrook. Finally.
Quote
The action continued on Wednesday, when the Los Angeles Lakers finally parted ways with point guard Russell Westbrook after months of speculation. In a three team deal between the Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz, Westbrook heads to Minnesota, while the Lakers pick up D'Angelo Russell from the Wolves along with Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt from the Jazz. Veteran point guard Mike Conley heads from Utah to Minnesota, while the Jazz add a significant draft asset in a lightly protected 2027 Lakers first-round pick.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/2023-nba-trade-deadline-tracker-lakers-move-russell-westbrook-knicks-get-josh-hart-kyrie-irving-to-mavs/
I guess that's why Anthony Davis is worried. Anything can happen now and his name might also be on the line to be traded.
The Lakers piling up more 3-point shooters and I think this will be good for them. Malik Beasley especially is known to be an assassin on distance shots.
Jazz on the other hand will receive Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones, and a pick. I don't know how could this be good for Jazz.

Addition: Chicago Bulls are interested in Westbrook in case the Jazz buy him out. - Chris Haynes.
