I suggest Kabayan to create a dedicated thread for his journey so that it can be exclusively focused on his progress. Of course, he can still post his bets in this thread, and those interested can follow along. Based on your experiment, it seems that you can be committed in the long run.

As for tomorrow's game between TNT and the Bolts, do you think TNT will be able to break their losing streak? Are you still betting on them, Kabayan?

I hope kabayan that after this mini-tourney i would end profitable hehe but not expecting too much though.

If you don't expect to be profitable, it means you are not fully confident in what you are doing. Treat it as a serious journey rather than just for fun. Track your progress and outcomes—it's a good start towards becoming a professional sports bettor someday.

Don't get me wrong kabayan hehe, i'm serious in this endeavor as this is still money, Php500 per game is not a joke but this is gambling and too much expectation might end up in frustration.

It's good to know that you are tracking my bets/progress and hope for the best result but becoming a professional sports bettor someday is not on my mind ATM but who knows, the ball is round.

Will post my bet here tomorrow.

You can start with a small amount, but once you sense that you have achieved the desired consistency, who knows, you might be able to increase your bankroll to a decent amount. As gamblers, our biggest enemy is actually ourselves. Even if we have a working strategy, once we let our emotions take over, it can ruin our game plan and lead to negative outcomes in the end.

Anyway, I'm confident that as a gambler, you will learn from your experiences. So, bisdak, good luck! We believe in you.

Hahaha is more on boosting and giving moral support but I second the motion kabayang bisdak hahaha. We never know what might be the possible outcome, with the way you learn and with the way you are able to control your emotion, that's something, it might lead you to a much better position when you start adding larger bets and bankroll.

For now, let's enjoy reading and following kabayang bisdak's journey. He's still kicking and the bankroll management that
he's executing is still showing great.

Looks like he's really taking that time doing assessment as On-tour games is like a puzzle. You really don't have any idea
which team will perform, no pressures with all the participating squads. "Good luck, ulit Kabayan!"

We have two games tomorrow, the main one will be between two bottom dwellers, NLEX and SMB. The odds for this one might even as the two has almost the same win-loss record while on the first game, we have Meralco battling against the winless Tropang Giga, and needless to say that the latter would be the huge underdog of this game.

I've got a feeling that TNT Tropang Giga would still lose this one and Meralco might cover the high point spread but still i will try my luck on betting a small amount on the ML odds while the rest of the budget will be with the handicap.

Good luck Kabayan, keep pushing forward Tongue

Odds wise kabayang bisdak losses some of it with his two picks though it's just a break-even results still depend from how much
he place from both games. Still rolling and still kicking for sure..

Bisdak won his bet because Ginebra not only covered the spread but also won the game. I'm curious, what would be the parlay odds for Ginebra + Blackwater? I'm sure it's above x10. It could be a huge win if someone from here placed a bet on that. Anyways, congratulations to Bisdak for the nice bounce back.

I'm a little bit of a negative profit on the game last night as I rooted for Phoenix to win the game but it turned out the two underdogs won. I won on the Ginebra game but the odds was only @1.84 but nevertheless, it was still a nice bet for me even though I didn't go for the ML odds for the Ginebra vs ROS game which was pegged @4.xx.

I don't think that it would reach @10.0 if those games were parlayed because the odds ML for Blackwater was only @2.10, i think i would be @8.00 the most but it is still juicy but the Ginebra game was the riskier because they don't have the starters.

6,321 - 80.0, my current bankroll (do the term i used correct  Grin).

Pretty much better, the saga continue and the chased for underdog still alive in this on-tour games, if you got that parlay that's really something sweet but not every day you have that instinct, hehehe but yes, maybe you'll be able to catch that we don't know when but the game still rolling and there are still many games for the underdog that you can risk out.

Good luck Kabayan, keep pushing forward Tongue

I didn't expect that to happen; it's a complete blowout, which is very rare in exhibition matches. After the first half, I already had a feeling that my bet was at risk of losing, considering how good Magnolia is in the second half. Unfortunately, my fear became a reality, and I lost all my balance. Now, I guess I'll just relax for a few days before starting over again.

Yeah, most of the time when a team already have a huge lead they will just use the clock but since we are in a tour game, maybe Magnolia players who given the chance to play really take that opportunity, while NP don't have anything to counter both sides I mean defensive and offensive side, Magnolia takeover especially in the last quarter, they continue putting that shots and brings more scores, those who take the handicap for them are now enjoying and for those who lose just a usual thing, it's time to move on..

125 to 89 score is quite a bit far lead by magnolia and yes like what you said above mate in regular season most of a time when a team have a good lead then they will use the game clock they will not in hurry and in short they will consume more time when they have the position but what we saw in this tour game Magnolia and the rest of the team give their best even they will in lead.

Every players wanted to have that exposures so they can have some minutes to play even it's just for 0n-tour game same way with exhibitions, and you are right, they will rest players to avoid injuries but in Magnolias's case even role players and backup players they
all show up and bring everything to win the game with that huge deficits.

Ginebra +10.5 @1.84 vs Rain or Shine

Hopefully Onwubere and Pessumal caught fire this time around and lead the Gin Kings to a victory or if not, at least a close game.

You don't see this every day. Now, the teams that were top performers in the regular season are big underdogs, especially this Ginebra team that has already won plenty of championships. Taking +10.5 is too easy, so why not consider taking the moneyline as well?

There's a chance that Ginebra will win. The game is currently close, with Ginebra leading by 1 point in the first quarter. Since there is still plenty of time to play, we cannot predict the outcome definitively. However, as long as the game remains close, Ginebra has a good chance of winning while also covering the handicap.

By the way, the first game has already concluded. Once again, the underdog emerged victorious as Blackwater defeated Phoenix with a score of 92-90.

I'm sure Bisdak managed his bankroll and still has some left to bet on Sunday's games. By the way, we have the following matchups:

Phoenix vs. Bossing.
Rain or Shine vs. Ginebra.

I believe Rain or Shine is still undefeated.

6,321 - current capital, still in profit.

Phoenix -4.5 @2.01 vs Blackwater

Last time Phoenix played, they defeated the hot streaking Dyip and they covered the spread that is why i'm with the favorites this time around as Blackwater was coming from a loss so that might affect their morale, but i think they have morale on this tune-up games lol.

Ginebra +10.5 @1.84 vs Rain or Shine

That means that they are more serious about the game and wants to maximize their playing time since this can be a good practice to every players as well as they prepare for regular season. NP did a great job to in the first half unfortunately it is Magnolia who are more consistent all through out the game, the players on the court really maximizes their exposure on this game, a good opportunity for them to shine as well.

Hope i will win on the second game to have a break-even night on the PBA.  Smiley

I have Northport as well, but I got them at +12.5 with odds of 1.85. I placed the bet during the live game because I missed the pregame odds. Hopefully, Magnolia will start to ease off a bit and stop dominating teams. It's alright if they win, as long as Northport is able to cover the spread.
Magnolia is still rolling, and let's hope Northport can make a comeback in the second half. It seems like Magnolia is determined to take every game seriously, even if it's just an exhibition game. They have showcased their dominance against a weaker team. However, there is still plenty of time left. The first half is about to end, and there's another half to play after the break.
It seems like there won't be an underdog winner today. Magnolia will win the game by a huge margin. I think it's already over, with the final score being 125-89. Even if there's a +25 point difference, it still won't be enough to win. I thought they would give Northport a chance to at least make it an entertaining game, but the runs in the 3rd and 4th quarters were just too much.

Anyway, I hope you bounce back next time, @bisdak40.

That was really a bad bet. We were thinking that Magnolia would fail to cover the spread since it's too high. Maybe we overlooked the obvious answer, which is that most of the time when the spread is too high, the favorites will cover it. I'm not sure if there are statistics on that, but based on my experience and observation, it does happen quite often.

I'm sure Bisdak managed his bankroll and still has some left to bet on Sunday's games. By the way, we have the following matchups:
